The perpose of this study is to report the effect of oriental demonstration treatment for Acne. Acne is an facial skin problems with depress, white head on the facial skin and bad smell. Objectives We experienced one case of Acne through acupuncture, cupping, herbal medication and herbal patch. 24 years old female patient suffered from acne with bad smell and depress. Method She was taken 23 times of acupuncture and cupping treatment, 30days of taking herb medicine and 7days for herbal patch(brand named Lee Myung Lae patch). Results After 23 times treatment her acne symtoms was improved. Conculusion Asian medical treatment could be safe and effective to American patient.

The purpose of this study is to analyse the facade design of the modern multistory-housing in europe and to try to find the significant factor of them. For analysing, the facade design factors are divided by three criterion, which consists of external expression, visual expression and Housing Shape. And those three criterion are schematized by subdivision. By integrating those data, this study aims at deriving the significant factor of facade designs and categorizing them. Conclusively, I suggest the alternative method to improve the facade design of multistory-housing in Korea based on results of this study.

In oder to investigate the basic data for the standard of visiting nursing activities and educational program for Public Health Nurses in Health Center in Korea. the health record review carried out regard to visiting nursing services of 131 subjects with visiting nursing care. The results were as follows: 1. Rates of visiting nursing services offered by Public Health Nurse of Health Center(in decreasing order)were health education and disease management(98.5%), activity assess-ment(94.7%), counseling(90.8%), dietary care (61.1%), exercise treatment(60.3%), examination(58.8%), medication(48.9%), referral to hospital(32.8%, vaccination against flu and hepatitis(29.8%), support for welfare and administration(24.4%), position change(9.9%), connection to voluntary services(9.9%), wound dressing(7.6%) and referral for home health care nursing(3.1%). 2. The subjects consisted of 38.2% in male and 61.8% in female. 77.1% of the subjects had no job.

A high-frequency asymmetrical PWM control technique is proposed which can improve the input power factor of ac chopper and also suppress its harmonic contents of currents at both its input and load sides and the acoustic noises by its switching semiconductor devices. The ideal switching function for the proposed technique is derived and hence converted into asymmetrical PWM pattern for practical implementation of ac voltage regulator. Also the various power circuits of three phase AC choppers are suggested. The theoretical characteristics of the proposed PWM technique are investigated by digital simulation.

Tarsal tunnel syndrome is a complex of symptoms resulting from the compression of the posterior tibial nerve or its branches. Many studies have done on etiologic agents. We reported two cases of tarsal tunnel syndrome secondary to the varicosis of posterior tibial vein. Symptoms were relieved after excision of the varicosis, neurolysis and reposition of posterior tibial nerve.

This paper presents a parallel combinatorial variant of evolution strategy (PCES) to solve well-known combinatorial optimization problems, Quadratic assignment problems (QAPs). The PCES reduces the possibility of getting stuck in local minima due to maintenance of subpopulation and thus it is more effective than the CES. Experiment results on two benchmark problems show that the PCES is better than the cES and the genetic algorithm(GA).

Unsaturated all-cis-5,8,11,14-eicosatetraenoic(arachidonic), 7,10,13-hexadecatrienoic, 10, 13-octadecadienoic acid ethyl ester and a lot of chimyl alcohol were isolated along with common 9-hexadecenoic acid ethyl ester from marine mollusca Bullacta exarata collected from sangnackworl island in the Korea sea. In addition, cholesterol and its fatty acid ester were obtained. Their structures were deduced from $^1H-$and $^{13}C$-NMR, GC-ms, and FT-IR spectra.

The Laurence Moon-Bardet Biedl syndrome is characterized by obesity, mental retardation, visual impairment with retinitis pigmentosa, polydactyly, hypogonadism and renal manifestations. We experienced an 11 years old female with Laurence Moon-Baret Biedl syndrome associated chronic renal failure. She was diagnosed to have LMB syndrom according to the clinical manifestations of polydactyly on hands and feet, mental retardation, obesity, retinitis pigmentosa and chronic renal failure. She is on maintenance hemodialysis now.
