  • Recently, with the increasing of construction works, large construction equipment are used to reduce the term of work and labor cost in construction field. Therefore, construction equipment noise has caused much annoyance for a number of dweller in nearby construction field and it has become a very serious problem in our living environment. Neverthless, in our country, adequite guidelines for the construction equipment noise are very deficiency because of the lack of basic data and insufficient research works. From this point of view, this study attempts to survey the vertical SPL distribution of piling noise by oil pressure method in construction field. This study also present a basic data found a effective plans for piling noise by oil pressure method.

  • Designers in Korea have stuck to development of furniture which has high reliance of foreign national resources. They made mistake that they didn't try to make inroads into the world market. They have kept production system of labor intensive method till 1990. They imitated foreign manufactures to win in domestic economy. It became the complete lack of exploitation experience and brought stagnation of design which couldn't defeat. Now Korea is making progressive impression in territory of an electron and information in a foreign market. A new progress of furniture design which was developed centering around a digital suggest a new appearance that will lead a future with modernization in a space of residence. This sis a new starting point which was most completed by anyone. If we will prepare without delay we can take part in a world market with competitive power.

  • Post-concussion syndrome (PCS) following mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) is a major factor that contributes to the increased socioeconomic burden caused by TBI. Myelin loss has been implicated in the development of PCS following mTBI. Diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), a traditional imaging modality for the evaluation of axonal and myelin integrity in mTBI, has intrinsic limitations, including its lack of specificity and its time-consuming and labor-intensive post-processing analysis. More recently, various fast MR techniques based on multicomponent relaxometry (MCR), including QRAPMASTER, mcDESPOT, and MDME sequences, have been developed. These MCR-based sequences can provide myelin water fraction/myelin volume fraction, a quantitative parameter more specific to myelin, which might serve as a surrogate marker of myelin volume, in a clinically feasible time. In this review, we summarize the clinical application of the MCR-based fast MR techniques in mTBI patients.

  • Automobile industry with history of more than 100 years is totally influencing all the economic environments and has very important wellbeing role in the World in every country of the world. Korean Automotive industry in production has only about 40 years but ranked remarkably 6th biggist in the world in the year of 2003. Nowadays The auto, industry has changed into buyer's market in competitively global battle fields and also is changing industry paradigm in product, sales, production, colarboration & emerging, etc. BRICs(Especially China)are rapidly emerging as main producers and customers in new big markets. Korea Auto. Industry faces crictical problems such as higher salary, furious labor union's striking lack of raw material, evasion of 3D works with studying engineering by students which are the key pending agenda that should be overcome for prosperous growth and development of achieving US20,000 GNP.

  • Efficient scheduling and resource management are the key factor to reduce construction project budget (e.g., labor cost, equipment cost, material cost, etc.). Resource-based line of balance (LOB) technique has been used to complement the limitations of time-driven scheduling techniques (e.g., critical-path method). Optimizing construction alternatives contributes cost savings while honoring the project deadline. However, existing LOB scheduling is lack of identifying optimal resource combination. This study presents a method which identifies the optimal construction alternatives, hence achieving resource minimization in a repetitive construction by using genetic algorithm (GA). The method provides efficient planning tool that enhances the usability of the system.

  • Recently, many videos such as online lecture videos caused by COVID-19 have been generated. However, due to the limitation of working hours and lack of cost, they are only a part of the videos with subtitles. It is emerging as an obstructive factor in the acquisition of information by deaf. In this paper, we try to develop a system that automatically generates subtitles using voice recognition and generates subtitles by separating sentences using the ending and time to reduce the time and labor required for subtitle generation.

  • This study explores how an elementary school homeroom teacher who continued to lecture, can use diversified science teaching methods for learner-centered instruction. Using an auto-ethnographic approach over the course of a year, self-memory data, facebook diaries, class diaries, and interview data of an elementary teacher's day-to-day preparations and practice of elementary science, in the context of a Korean elementary school, were collected. The data was analyzed through cultural historical activity theory, examining how the interplay of key elements (i.e., the subject as a homeroom teacher with instructional expertise, norms, community, division of labor, tools, and goals) was characterized within and across distinct two-activity systems, and how these elements shaped the teacher's teaching methods into either lecture format or diversified teaching. The study revealed that a non-cooperative community, lack of division of labor, and norms that neglect preparation for science class were the elements that perpetuated the lecture format, and that a contradiction between goals and tools occurred in the activity system. However, these elements were able to be transformed into a cooperative community, shared labor, and norms that saved preparation time for both science class and diversified teaching methods, and those changed elements facilitated the teacher in using diversified teaching methods (e.g., experiments, subject-integrated classes, field work), thereby mitigating the contradiction. This study also discusses that diversified teaching methods can be facilitated when dealing with norms, community, and division of labor elements in an elementary school context as well as improving individual teachers' instructional expertise.

  • The automation of agricultural machines is an irreversible trend considering the demand for improved productivity and lack of labor in handling agricultural tasks. Unstructured working environments and weather often inhibit a seemingly simple task from being fully autonomously performed. In this context, we propose a remote driving system (RDS) to aid agricultural machines designed to operate autonomously. Particularly, we modify a commercial speed sprayer for orchard environments into a robotic speed sprayer to evaluate the proposed RDS's usability and test three sensor configurations in terms of human performance. Furthermore, we propose a confidence error ellipsebased task performance measure to evaluate human performance. In addition, we present field experimental results describing how the sensor configurations affect human performance. We find that a combination of a semiautonomous line tracking device and a wide-angle camera is the most effective for spraying. Finally, we discuss how to improve the proposed RDS in terms of usability and obtain a more accurate measure of human performance.

  • Recently, the building construction industry has been forced to cope with lack of skilled labor. A robot-based construction automation system should help overcome crucial troubles which may be caused by this phenomenon. In particular, it is vital to propose design for automation (DFA). Quality function deployment (QFD) is applied a systematic aid in determining the design reflecting customer's needs. This study employs the QFD approach to plan the component designs of an effective automation process, and presents the development process of DFA with an illustrative project. As a result, the study identifies the developers' design requirements for automated construction and weights them by their importance indices.
