  • Recently. it has been known that NADPH-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDPc) involves in the obesity through production of NADPH, an important cofactor. DA-11004 is a synthetic potent IDPc inhibitor that $IC_{50}$ for IDPc is 1.49$\mu\textrm{M}$ (0.9$\mu$g/ml). The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of DA-11004 on the high fat high sucrose (HF)-induced obesity in C57BL/6 mice. (omitted)

  • A 5.8-inch wide-QQVGA flexible full-color active-matrix OLED display was fabricated on a plastic substrate. Low-voltage-operation organic TFTs and high-efficiency phosphorescent OLEDs were used as the backplane and emissive pixels, respectively. The fabricated display clearly showed color moving images when the driving voltage was below 15 V.

  • We have demonstrated a flexible and full-color OTFT-OLED display. The display has a top-emitting pixel structure with a resolution of 80 ppi, which can be achieved by developed integration architecture of OTFTs. The 0.3-mm-thick flexible display exhibits peak brightness over 100 nit with a contrast ratio greater than 1000:1.

  • GX-12 is a naked DNA vaccine developed by Dong-A pharmaceutical company for the treatment of mv infection. GX-12 consists of four separate plasmids. This study was performed to evaluate the biodistribution and expression of GX-12 mRNA in gonadal tissues, and to investigate the histopathological changes in rats after repeated intramuscular injection.(omitted)

  • A high performance liquid chromatographic method was developed for the determination of DA-6034 in biological fluids using fluorescence detector. The method involved deproteinization of biological sample with the same volume of acetonitrile, 0.2M zinc sulphate. and 0.15M barium hydroxide. The aliquot of supernatant was injected onto Nova-pak C18 column and detected by fluorescence detector. Emission and excitation wavelength of detector were 336nm and 440nm. (omitted)

  • In this paper, we have studied manufacturing process for liquid crystal displays (LCDs) using plastic substrates. Because the thermal and dimensional stabilities of plastic substrates are decisive issues, both the process and materials were improved to fit the manufacturing requirements of flexible twisted-nematic (TN) and color super-twisted nematic (CSTN) LCDs. Finally, to broaden the flexible display applications, we take advantage of the unique properties of flexible display to design several innovative products.
