소비자들의 대형마트 PB의류 구매행동에 관한 연구 (An study on purchasing activity of Private Brand clothing in large discount store)

  • 본 연구는 소비자의 대형마트 PB(Private Brand,자사등록상품)의류 선택시 어떠한 요소들이 소비자들의 구매행동에 얼마만큼의 영향을 미치는가에 대한 상관관계를 규명하여 대형마트가 실시하는 가격설정, 판매, 진열, 판촉활동 시 고객의 요구를 정확히 파악하여, 효율적이고 효과적인 마케팅 활동이 이루어지기 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 본 논문에서는 소비자들이 PB의류를 구매를 고려할 때 NB와 합리적으로 비교하여서 가격, 품질, 가치에 대한 지각을 한다는 측면에서 지각된 가격차이, 지각된 품질 및 실용성차이, 다른 목적으로 대형마트 방문시 지각된 충동구매 차이, 매장내 진열상품을 통한 지각된 구매차이 변수들에 대한 가설과 검증을 통해 실증적인 통계학적인 방법으로 연구 하였다. 본 연구 결과에 의하면 대형마트 소비자의 PB의류 구매시 주요 결정 요인으로 밝혀진 판매가격, 스타일에 대한 기존 NB브랜드의 트렌드 접목, 품질과 실용성이 있는 상품 개발과 마케팅 전략이 가장 우선적으로 효과적이라는 판단이다.

배암차즈기의 투여가 고형암환자에 미치는 영향을 평가하기 위한 선행적 인체적용시험 (Effect of Salvia plebeia Extract on Patients with Solid Cancer: A Preliminary Clinical Trial Protocol)

  • Objective : The purpose of this trial is to observe the preliminary effects of Salvia plebeia (SP) extract on quality of life in patients with solid cancer. Methods : This is a prospective, open-label, single-arm, and single-dose clinical trial. Twenty participants who have been diagnosed with solid cancer between the ages of 20 and 65 will be included. All participants will be administered SP granules for 12 weeks. Data will be collected at 4, 8, and 12 weeks after enrollment. The primary outcome is quality of life, using the Korean version of the Functional Assessment Cancer Therapy-General questionnaire. Secondary outcomes include tumor markers in blood tests for each cancer type, soluble programmed death-ligand 1, the percentage of natural killer cells among lymphocytes, ratio of T-helper and T-suppressor cells, ratio of total T, T-helper, T-suppressor, and B cells in lymphocytes, level of C-reactive protein, and tumor size via radiology examination. Safety will be assessed by clinical laboratory tests and monitoring of adverse events. Discussion : This study aims to observe the effects of an oral administration of SP preparations in patients with solid cancer on changes in quality of life and an improvement in immune function. It is expected to provide objective evidence of the effect and safety of SP for patients with solid cancer. Trial registration: KCT0007315 (Clinical Research Information Service)

포장사과 구입실태 및 선호 분석 (Consumers' purchasing behavior and preference for small packaged apple)

  • This paper analyzes the consumers' preference for packaged apple and derives the measures to vitalize the distribution of packaged apple. To do this, survey was conducted for consumers in large cities, Seoul, Busan, and Daegu to observe their purchasing behavior and satisfaction both for packaged and unpackaged apple. Survey was focused to how they are satisfied with several attributes of package such as size, appearance, content, material, and label. On the basis of the survey results, the values of the package attributes were estimated. Survey results show that consumers tend to buy unpackaged apple rather than packaged apple. About 34 percent out of 313 respondents have ever purchased apple packed with paper box while only 10.5 percent have an experience to buy packaged apple with transparent box. Most respondents answered they preferred the package of five to six apples and 1.3 kilograms most. They preferred mid or large size apple. Estimation of the values of the package attributes using the conjoint analysis shows that consumers are giving the highest value to the price of packing material. It means that consumers are reluctant to the extra payment resulted from packing the apple. Therefore, the efforts to reduce the cost of packing apple should be made steadily. In order to vitalize the distribution of small packaged apple, the package should contain high quality apple with high sugar content, proper size, good appearance, and so on. And it needs to be promoted to the consumers that small packaged apple are not inferior to apple packed with paper box.

  • Ever-evolving diverse communication tools bring numerous changes and improvements into the lives of humans. It is extremely important to provide visual information when communicating with consumers in the commercial arena because humans acquire over eighty percent of the information around them through sense of sight. One cannot compete with just sheer quality in today's world. Therefore, the applications of digital technology in the visual merchandising became crucial, for it can dramatically improve the market value. Among these applications is digital signage, a new media for esthetic experience. I strongly believe that this would be a new marketing tool for the brand's distinctive and unique publicity. This research has been conducted in order to find out how the fast-growing digital signage, defined by the contents, has become not just a mere digital video clip but an esthetic merchandising tool that can produce various effective marketing strategies; and to discover the characteristics that this application has brought out in the visual merchandising field of fashion stores' global SPA brands. Based on the market case study, analyses have been made for the digital signage types and strategies regarding the visual merchandising expressive elements and for the effects the digital signage application will have on publicity. According to the results, the digital signage has proven to be informative, diversely applicable and contributes greatly to the increase in sales and to the improvement of company and brand image. Thus, it is much more than just a media tool for advertisement.

구조화된 웹 문서에 대한 자동 정보추출 (Automatic Information Extraction for Structured Web Documents)

  • 본 논문에서는 구조화된 웹문서에서 자동으로 정보를 추출하고 추출된 정보를 통합하는 정보추출 시스템을 제안한다. 제안한 시스템은 레이블(label)이 없는 엔티티를 인식하기 위해 확률 기반 엔티티 인식 방법을 이용하며, 추출된 데이터를 이용하여 기존의 도메인 지식을 반자동으로 확장하는 기능을 제공한다. 게다가 기본 페이지에 링크된 하위 링크의 정보를 추출하는 기능을 제공하며, 도메인에 대한 이종의 정보 소스로부터 얻어진 유사 추출 결과를 통합하는 기능을 제공한다. 실험 결과, 도메인 지식만을 이용하여 웹 정보추출 시스템을 평가하였을 경우의 성능에 비해 하위링크의 정보를 추출하거나 확률 기반으로 레이블을 추론하여 추출 시스템을 평가한 경우의 성능이 상당히 향상됨을 보인다. 아울러 본 논문에서 제안하는 웹 정보추출 시스템은 도메인별로 시스템을 융통성 있게 적용시킬 수 있기 때문에 보다 다양한 정보들을 추출할 수 있다. 자동 도메인 지식의 확장이나 확률적 엔티티 인식 방법은 도메인 지식을 이용하는 프로그램이 추출할 수 있는 정보의 질을 증대시키기 때문에, 사용자의 만족도를 극대화시킬 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 따라서 본 시스템은 인터넷상의 영화 사이트나 공연 사이트 혹은 음식점 사이트에 대해서 정보를 추출해서 사용자의 지적 호기심을 충족시켜줄 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 다양한 비교 시스템을 구축할 수 있기 때문에 전자 상거래의 활성화에도 기여한다.

Comparisons of food security, dietary behaviors and nutrient intakes between adult North Korean Refugees in South Korea and South Koreans

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: North Korean refugees (NKRs) in South Korea are a unique population as they must adapt in a new country with similar cultural traits but different social, political, and economic systems, but little research has been conducted on diet and nutrition in this population. This study examined food security, dietary behaviors, and nutrient intakes among adult NKRs living in South Korea and compared them to those of South Koreans. SUBJECTS/METHODS: The subjects were 139 adult NKRs (25 men, 114 women) living in the Seoul metropolitan area, and 417 age- and sex- matched South Korean controls (SKCs; 75 men, 342 women) selected from the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES). Food security and dietary behaviors (meal skipping, eating-out, meals with family, nutrition education and counseling, and nutrition label knowledge and utilization) were obtained using self-administered questionnaires. Nutrient intakes were assessed by 24-hr recall. The statistical analysis was performed using IBM SPSS ver. 23.0. RESULTS: In South Korea, food security had improved over the previous 12 months, but remained significantly poorer for NKR women than SKC women. Meal skipping was three times more frequent than for SKCs and eating-out was rare. Average energy intake was 1,509 kcal for NKR men and 1,344 kcal for NKR women, which was lower than those of SKCs (2,412 kcal and 1,789 kcal, respectively). Significantly more NKRs (men 24.0%, women 21.9%) showed simultaneously deficient intake in energy, calcium, iron, vitamin A, and riboflavin than SKCs (men 2.7% (P = 0.003), women 7.0% (P < 0.001)). NKR women had a significantly higher index of nutrient quality (INQ) for some nutrients than SK women. CONCLUSIONS: This study reports significant differences in food security, dietary behaviors, and nutrient intakes between NKRs and SKCs. Generally, NKRs reported lower intakes despite improved food security, but relatively good INQs across nutrients. Further research is needed to understand processes of food choice and consumption among NKRs to provide appropriate support aimed at improving diets.

한국성인의 식품소비행동과 식생활 자기평가에 관한 비교연구 (A Comparative Study on Food Behavior with Self-Evaluation of Dietary Life for Korean Adults)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore socio-economic factors as determinants of food behavior and self-evaluation on meeting dietary guidelines. The data were derived from the KNHANES collected in 2007. A multidimensional framework of the determinants of food behavior was used, including age, gender, region, occupation, education, income and nutritional knowledge. The determinants of food behavior and self-evaluation were estimated by ordered logistic regression models. Food behavior was measured by dietary diversity scores including six food groups, which were cereals, vegetables, meats, fruits, milk, and oils. Self-evaluation on meeting dietary guidelines was based on responses from questionnaires for implementing Korean dietary guidelines. In general, the respondents who fulfilled all criteria were few. There were some differences between dietary diversity scores and self-evaluation on meeting dietary guidelines. Age, gender, and educational level showed effect on food behavior and self-evaluation. For dietary diversity scores, the individuals who were younger male, graduated from college were more likely to consume more various foods. The individuals who were older female, graduated from high school were more likely to meet dietary guidelines. Occupation was associated only with self-evaluation. Age and gender were associated with food behavior as well as self-evaluation. Income and marital status were associated only with dietary diversity scores. Reading food label and occupation were associated only with self-evaluation. The food behavior of married individuals was less in line with the dietary diversity scores than singles. In conclusion the differences between objective measure and subjective measure on individuals' diet showed more efforts like segmented nutritional education would be needed to increase the quality of dietary life.

캐주얼 의류 브랜드의 상품 공급 특성에 관한 연구 - SPA 특성을 중심으로 - (A Study on a Product Supply of Casual Apparel Brands - Focused on SPA Characteristics -)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the SPA(Specialty store retailer of Private label Apparel) characteristics and product supply process of Korean casual apparel brands. The research was conducted by questionnaire surveys to 63 casual apparel brands. SPA characteristics of each brand were measured with four SPA characteristic indices: short product supply cycle, spacious retail floor, single brand retail store, and low product price compared to the quality of the product. The 63 apparel brands were grouped by SPA index score. The brands belonged to group H had high index score and brands in group L had low index score. The results of this study showed that the most of the casual apparel brands' products were sold at department stores, especially the brands belonged to group L greatly depended on department stores. Few apparel brands have spacious retail floor. The retail product price of the brands belonged to group H was low price while the product price of the brands belonged to group L was in the medium-high price. The supply time of the new products was short in general. The most brands supplied new styles to the retail floor within 1 to 3 weeks. The information technology was heavily used. The brands belonged to group H highly used information technology including bar codes system, pas data analysis, and inventory control system. The current style trends were analyzed with street fashion and feedback from the shop managers.

국내 시판 이유식류의 영양성분규격 설정 방안 (Study on the Establishment of Nutrient Requirements for Commercial Supplementary Foods for Infants and Young Children)

  • This study was conducted to evaluated the nutrition quality of the commercial supplementary foods for infants and young children and to seek a solution to the establishment of standards of nutrient requirements for supplementary foods in Korea. Information on food ingredients, nutrient contents, claims about usefulness of food components and instructions for feeding preparation were obtained from the labels of 33 commercial supplementary foods manufactured by 4 different domestic companies. According to the standard of supplementary foods for infants and young children described in the Korean Food Code, the commercial supplementary foods were categorized into two different types, weaning food and baby food. All the commercial weaning foods were in powder form and mainly composed of cereals, whereas all the baby foods were mainly composed of fruits in the form of canned juice. The weaning foods contained more nutrients than the baby foods did, and the nutrient levels of the weaning foods expressed as nutrient density on energy basis were higher than the RDA for infants aged 5 to 11 months, suggesting that the commercial weaning foods provide adequate amounts of nutrients. If one followed the instructions for feeding preparation appearing on the label, however, recommended amounts of intake of the weaning foods would provide too much energy as well as nutrients. There were many differences in nutrient standards of weaning foods between the Korean Food Code and Codex international food standard. In conclusion, the establishment of standards for nutrient requirements for the supplementary foods requires significant scientific studies on what nutrients are the most inadequate in Korean infants and young children feeds and what levels of nutrients should be added to the foods in order to supplement their nutrition. In addition, it is very important to have a strong scientific basis to support our standard when discrepancies exist between our standard and the international standard.   • 항체로서 4-pregnen-$11{\alpha}$-ol-3,20-dione-hemisuccinate bovine serum albumin을 사용하여 progesterone 측정을 위한 방사선 면역분석법을 개발하였다. 항체의 최종 희석 배율은 1 : 5,000이었다. Label progesterone의 회수율은 84%였으며 최저 측정치는 8pg/ml이었다. Intra- and interassay coefficients of variation은 각각 6.2, 10.4%이었다. 방사선 면역 분석법은 가축에서 성성숙(性成熟), 발정확인(發情確認), 임신진단(姙娠診斷), 분만(分娩)후 난소기능회복(卵巢機能回復) 및 번식장애(繁殖障碍)의 진단(診斷)등에 적용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
