The purpose of this study is to develop an mobile augmented reality for students to learn bar placing work, which is increasingly utilized in the construction field. In order to improve the understanding of the structural drawing, a structural drawing is used as a marker image, and an augmented reality is realized by superimposing a virtual 3D bar placing model that is placed according to the structural drawing on the screen. In addition to the 3D modeling, the contents are developed so as to help students to learn the interpretation method of 2D drawings, the development and splices of reinforcing steel, bar fabricating practice according to KCI structural concrete design code, and the process of bar placing. The results show that the augmented reality is positively evaluated in terms of interface style, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment, attitude toward using, and intention to use. The augmented reality is worth to be introduced because it has advantages of visualization and interaction in terms of education.

Nowadays, retro to the past fashion is appeared just as often as new challenge and trial. The style of Renaissance Era is the most often revival theme for contemporary fashion. So, this study was focused on 16C of Renaissance costume. It is investigated the characteristics of Renaissance costume through referring the literature to be able to restore the past costume as through as possible with the object of building database for developing new design. This study is done in two different ways at the same time, direct study to restore and indirect study to refer. Direct one is of the past costume as thoroughas possible based on referring to the originals. The other is referring the costume historical literature The costumes to restore is chosen among 16C famous pictures on the basis of how much they can show the typical chracteristics of 16C costume. Materials including textiles and ornaments which are necessarily to restore were shopped in Dongdeamoon Market. Some materials had a problem to get exactly the same one in Seoul on 21C. After visiting imes, the materials is chosen as similar as originals. Three sets of costume were restored on the basis of referring "Pattern of Fashion" written by Janet Arnold. The costumes were restored by reinforcing bodice based on the size of waist and in every three works. The way of sewing is based on hand sewing for details and machin-sewing for seam. Quilting intl lining is uwed giving the fabric stiffness to maintain the form from the heavy padding. Also the part of piles on margins is used darts instead of gather, because of reducing bulkiness of seam. General closing methods are hook and eyes, and lacing with points.

This study presents the results of conservation treatment and research on a folding screen with embroidered classical Chinese characters "壽" (su) for longevity and "福" (bok) for good fortune in various scripts. The project was conducted as part of the program for supporting overseas Korean galleries in 2016. The present mounting of this ten-panel folding screen was difficult to identify as it had previously been remounted in a modern style. However, clues to the original mounting were discovered during the conservation process. It was revealed that the folding screen was decorated with colors frequently used in Joseon-period, such as teal silk at the top and bottom of each panel and a violet frame. These features provided clues to the original mounting of the folding screen, of which only a few elements have survived. Since this study analyzes only case of one folding screen, further research is required to reveal the method of mounting folding screens applied during this same period.

The purpose of this study is for consideration of the flapper fashion (1924-1928) in Jazz Age (1919-1929) of America and the influences of it on modern fashion. This study is started from the latest fashion trend which is pursuing it's inspiration into the Jazz Age, the 20s. The etimology of 'flapper' was based on mines is 'flap' such as 'flutter of skirt hemline', 'hands', 'arms', 'wings' and a slang which was applied to young women from 1830. In 20th century it has meant not only new American women but also their fashion and attitude. The designs of flapper fashion were expressed by simplicity, functionality, nudity and rhythm. Simplicity was the best value of this time and the simple image was considered the smartest. Functionality was represented by straight boyish style and loose baggy silhouette that was related to free dome. Nudity was expressed by revealing of legs, arms, backs in shapes and see-through by materials. It was related to sexual attraction and point to youth. Rhythm of flapper fashion expressed optical effect of movement. Using of light material was deep related to freedom of flappers, speed, rhythmical Jazz and dancing. The influences of flapper fashion were giving an opportunity that changed fashion leader from high class to young popular group and simple design of flapper fashion effected to modernization and popularization of American apparel business. And it influenced American casual fashion which was known as brightness, youth and openhearted mood. So flapper fashion can be reganded as the starting point of the street fashion of the 20th century.

This study aims to investigate the linguistic features of English signboards (ES) and socio-cultural aspects in Korea through university students' perspectives on the ES. The data comprised pictures and questionnaire on the ES from the students. The findings showed that ES reached to 55.4% for mainly the business of drink beverage and clothes. The text written by 'only English' included 2-3 words (43%), and that of 'combination of English and Korean' had 4-5 words (25%), which reached to 68% of the all. The 70% of ES were used for the business of drink beverage, food, and clothes, but these were not in harmony with the neighborhood, showing 42% of agreement. Good ES required 'visual factors (27%)', 'expression of business (23%)', 'elegant and luxurious style (19%)', and 'design and creativity (15%)', and these ES were the most in Shinchon areas. Overall, the present ES culture was insufficient to make harmonious atmosphere in Korea, which requires the support of policies and systems.

The historical exchanges between the Republic of Korea and Japan have broadly occurred, in terms of both political and cultural aspects, from ancient to modern times. Regarding ancient gardening culture, in particular, Asuka developed gardens with the gardening techniques passed down by the Baekje people. The development of the basic form of a garden pond along with its characteristics, established through such exchanges, is suggested by investigating its components through analysis of data from the gardens of Baekje and Asuka. In terms of the garden pond structure, homogeneity was confirmed between Baekje and Asuka, with a linear rectangular form as the basic design. In addition, the vertical construction technique was used by both ancient kingdoms. In terms of the types of stone used in building the shore of the garden pond, Baekje used diverse types such as natural stone, crushed stone, and cut stone. In contrast, rounded river stone was used by Asuka. Regarding the floor of the garden pond, Baekje used soil, which enabled the planting of lotus flowers. In contrast, Asuka used stones to pave pond floors, which made the growth of plants impossible. In terms of layout, Baekje used ornamental stones for pond landscaping, while Asuka used manmade island and water intake facilities in their pond construction. The effects of Baekje's garden culture on Asuka's garden building can be seen from its influence on the form of the garden pond and shore construction style. In terms of the construction of the garden pond's shore with the same stones and the stone flooring, the garden ponds of the Asuka Kingdom reveal technically unified and refined aspects.

Scribble methodology is developed from the modernist's effort of pursuing the free expression and painterlyness And in modernism period usual abstract mode is made by simple plastic ingredients. One of them is Scribble way. In the period of postmodern, the Scribbling is confused with destructive methodology like Iconoclasm, Vandalism and scribbling. Lucio Fontana and Robert Raushenberg had developed these methodology and made new direction in $1960\sim1970$. After 1980, there had been graffiti movement similar to scribbling in germany. There had been developed many kind of scribble methodology, in each artist and be prolonged destroy the price of our usual concept. These Styles are able to discerned as follows. Firstly, in case of Cy Twombly, he used very allusive signifier, which contain different motives come from the ancient ruins or myths. The methodology follows multi-codified meaning relationship. Secondly, the methodology was developed by Jean Michael Basquait as the type of Hispanic scribbling for ebony peoples and by Keith Harring as the type of Cartoon image of Mass-media based on technology. Thirdly, the multi-meaning style was developed by David Salle as the type of destructive methodology which are the ambivalent images conjoined difference time and term and by Gigmar Polke as the type of mixture of abstract and realistic shapes together which are based on the aesthetics which is based on pessimistic sight for contemporary civilization. It means the methodology is based on the multi-codification of postmodern semiotics. So the scribbling mode is subjected as important as the changedness of late 20th century painting developments.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the predictive factors on quality of life (QOL) in the urban residents by age. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive design was used. A total of 592 urban residents, ages of 20 to 59, completed a self-reported questionnaire including WHO QOL Scale-Brief (WHOQOL-BREF), Health Promoting Life Style Profile II (HPLP), Personal Competence of Health Care Scale (PCHC), and self-efficacy scale. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-tests, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regressions by SPSS 18.0. Results: The mean scores were 53.71 in QOL, and subscales were 14.41 in physical health, 13.31 in psychological, 13.87 in social relationship, and 12.12 in environment. There were significant differences by age groups, gender, education, family income, job, and present illness in QOL. QOL were significantly associated with HPLP, PCHC, and self-efficacy. The results of multiple regression indicated that HPLP, PCHC, marital state, and self-efficacy in the 20s, HPLP, self-efficacy, age, marital state, religion, and PCHC in the 30s, HPLP, PCHC, self-efficacy, and family income in the 40s, and HPLP, PCHC, self-efficacy, and gender in the 50s were statistically significant in predicting QOL. Conclusion: It is important to develop distinct programs by age for improving of quality of life for adults.

This study provides basic data for future design proposals aimed at improving the uniforms and bullet/stab proof garments of local police. An analysis was conducted on various aspects of the uniforms used until 2015 and those newly introduced in 2016. Current bullet/stab proof garments were compared with old stab proof garments; in addition, police force posting on the internal SNS were analyzed in regards to the improvement needs for uniforms. Analyses results are as follows. As for the uniforms, convenience was improved by eliminating the necktie, and the four trigrams embroidery was added to emphasize the Korean identity. Cargo-style pants were added for enhanced activity, and the color of the top was changed to turquoise to improve discrimination. In terms of material, durable polyester was used heavily in outside uniforms that were likely to be damaged during work; consequently, the percentage of elastic materials was increased for improved activity. The price showed a high increase rate due to inflation and the use of functional new materials. Complaints and demands for improvement continued despite various modifications made to uniforms and suggested a strong need for further improvements that reflected the opinions of wearers. As for the protective garments, there was a limit to reducing the final weight despite the use of lightweight material because of protection performance enhancements made from expanding the protection surface area. Also, considering further decrease in supply rate, it was deemed necessary to secure budget for full supply of bullet/stab proof garments.
