본 연구는 반도체 산업의 공정에서 자동화를 위한 Solution 개발에 초점을 두었다. Spec-out(불량)이 발생하였을 경우에 엔지니어가 원인을 분석하고 조치를 취하던 이전의 방식을 탈피하여 Expert Knowledge Base System의 On-Line방식으로 전환하고자 한다. 이러한 시스템을 구축하기 위해 공정과 계측간에 발생하는 파라메터들의 상관관계를 수학적으로 도출하였으며, 상관관계들을 이용하여 이탈 발생시 처리를 하기 위한 Rule을 구성하였다. 그리고 이 Rule들을 바탕으로 이탈발생의 원인을 분석하는 추론 시스템을 구성하여 즉각적이고 신속하게 처리를 하기 위한 이탈처리 분석 시스템을 구성하는 방법을 연구하였다.

자연어를 분석하는데 있어 가장 중요한 것은 지식 베이스(Knowledge Base)가 얼마나 정확하고 많이 구축되어 있는가 하는 것이다. 일반적으로 이 지식 베이스는 사전으로 구성될 수 있는데 이를 전자 사전이라 한다. 또 지식 베이스의 정보들은 계속적으로 유지, 수정되는데 이는 말뭉치의 분석을 통해 얻어질 수 있다. 본 논문은 전자사전의 구성및 말뭉치의 분석과 관리를 구문 분석기를 통해서 알아본다.

An expert system that diagnoses the malfunction of local area network is developed. The system detects specific devices in the network as the source of thd deta disconnection. These soures are sct to goals in the knowledge base and rules are constructed by uncluding all possible occurrences un thd connection of therminals and host computers. An approach via OR graph is employed for thd systematic rule generation. The system is implemented in a shell and illustrative inference processes are presented.

This study aims at integrating the sociological study of technology and the economic study of technological learning. It is argued that the sociological approaches of innovation have some strong points in criticizing technological determinism, but have some weak points in explaining how the knowledge base for innovation is accumulated. On the contrary, the economic approaches of innovation have strong points in explaining technology accumulation, but ignore socio-political process of innovation. This study suggests the model which integrates the socio-political process and technological loaming process.

This paper deals with an analyzing method of the Korean syntax to implement a natural language understanding system. A matrix of the syntactic structure is derived by the structural features of the Korean language. The modificatoty and conceptual structures are extracted from the matrix and the predicate logic form is expressed by extracting the phrase, clause and conceptual structure in the analyzing process. This logic form constructs an knowledge base of the sentence and proposes the possibility of the inference.

This paper describes the notion of a Multilevel Secure Knowledge Base Management System(MLS/KBMS). It states a security policy and security constraints. A design for query operation introduced cover story in a MLS/KBMS is discussed. Query processing approach is to provide cover stories that lead to alternative explanations for readily available information. Therefore such cover stories prevent an unauthorized user from inferring high-level information from low-level data.

Tube hydroforming is a relatively new technology in comparison with conventional stamping process. Thus, there is no large knowledge base to assist the product and process designers, especially from the friction point of view. This paper covers the topic of friction and lubrication with regard to tube hydroforming. It presents the fact that frictional characteristic can have an effect on the formability of specific components. The presented concept describes the equipment which is required to determine the friction coefficient. Some example results of the friction and bulge test are shown.

This paper describes how using the XPS Document technologies of Windows Vista support and enhances interactions with the structural design and construction process. It illustrates the document workflows and the document life cycle in a typical construction base knowledge system. It provides engineers and decision makers and implementers with information about this new technology and how they can apply it to their design and construction models. The paper also highlights opportunities for the new format of data exchange in the recent efforts to develop National Management System Standards for Transportation Applications to benefit from these emerging technologies.

기업의 원활한 활동에 필수적인 요소는 살아 있는 정보의 공급이며, 기업 데이터 베이스는 데이터의 보관/흐름/활용 입장에서의 정보 인프라를 기반으로 하고 있다. 최근 기업 Knowledge Base 구축은 정보의 품질이 좌우하나 기업 정보의 양은 비대해져 데이터의 일관성이 결여되고 DB 의 성능은 점점 저하되고 있다. 본 고에서는 데이터 Hub 의 적용을 통해 얻을 수 있는 DB 성능 향상에 대해 정성적/정량적 관점으로 논의한다.
