  • Free and forced vibration analysis of the global ship structure using the 3-dimensional finite element(FE) method requires not only the specialized knowledge such as ship structure interacted with fluid, damping and various excitations due to propulsion system but also time-consuming manual tasks in FE modeling, analysis and response evaluation. As a result, the quality of the vibration analysis highly depends on engineer's expertise and experience. In this study, a framework system to improve the efficiency of global ship vibration analysis is introduced. The system promising the utilization of MSC/Patran and MSC/Nastran consists of various modules to support data management, FE modeling of ship structure and loading, input deck generation for free and forced vibration analysis, data extraction and evaluation of analysis results, and databases for FE models of marine diesel engines and vibration criteria. The system may be useful for pursuing standardization of uncertain analysis factors as well as reducing time, cost and human dependency in ship vibration analysis.

  • The construction market became generally opened to overseas and the domestic construction industry has competed with the international construction enterprise of which technical knowledge is superior. In order to compete with the international construction companies, domestic construction industry needs more continuous promotions on the research and development for improving the level of technique of the construction engineering to meet the international norm. This study aims to suggest the better standards of engineering output such as drawings and specifications to correspond the changing integration system and bidding system in preparation for growing international competition. The study starts with comparison and analyses of domestic and international methods and standards for preparing design drawings. And it continues to delve into actual drawing preparation practices, especially focusing on the ones for road and subway construction. Finally, the study presents a better way of the standardization of the main drawings such as general plan, longitudinal drawing, cross section, structural drawings and temporary structure for new bidding systems of historical cost estimation and whole specification tender and for promotion of international competitiveness.

  • 본 논문은 ERP시스템의 가동(Go-Live)단계에서 발생하는 프로젝트 활동들과, 현재 ERP도입과 관련하여 주요 이슈(issues)로 등장하고 있는 커스터마이징, 프로세스 표준화, 단계적 도입, 기존시스템과의 병행가동 등의 활동이, 어떻게 상호작용하여 ERP 도입 후의 사용만족도에 영향을 미치는가에 대하여 분석하였다. 즉, 본 논문의 주된 관심은 ERP시스템을 성공적으로 가동하는데 영향을 미치는 요인들을 실증분석을 통하여 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 논문은 ERP 도입 프로젝트의 마무리 과정인 가동단계에서의 활동을 분석해 독립변수로 하고, 이들 가동시점활동에 영향을 미치는 주요 ERP 도입이슈인 커스터마이징, 프로세스 표준화, 단계적 도입, 기존시스템과 병행가동의 정도를 조절변수로 하여, 이들 변수가 종속변수인 ERP의 사용 만족도에 미치는 조절효과를 검정하였다. 본 논문은 이를 통하여 ERP시스템의 가동단계에서 발생하는 활동들을 어떻게 해결하는 것이 향후 ERP시스템을 성공적으로 활용하는 데 보다 효과적인지에 대한 구체적인 방안을 유도하였다. 분석결과는 기업들이 ERP를 가동하고 유지 관리하는 데에 유용한 참고자료가 될 것으로 기대된다.

  • 국가나 기업이 보유한 정보통신 기술을 국제 표준에 반영하기 위한 표준화 활동은 국가의 산업 발전은 물론 기업의 생존이 걸린 중요한 문제라고 할 수 있다. 또한, 선진국은 자국의 기술을 국제표준에 반영하기 위하여 치열한 경쟁을 하고 있으며, 특히 정보통신 시장을 주도할 핵심 원천기술을 개발하고 이를 표준에 반영하는 표준특허 확보에 총력을 기울이고 있다. 이러한 환경에서 우리나라가 21세기 지식정보사회에서 지식정보강국으로 도약하고, 세계 정보통신 시장에서 주도적인 위치를 확보하기 위해서는 정보통신시장을 주도할 핵심기술에 대한 국제 표준화를 추진하는 정보통신 표준화 전략 수립 및 체계적인 추진이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 그동안 단편적인 접근에서 벗어나 기술개발 기획에서 세계시장 선점까지의 표준특허 확보를 위한 종합적인 전략 수립에 대한 체계적이고 종합적인 접근방법을 제시하여, 국내 개발기술의 국제 표준화를 촉진하고 표준화 활동의 초석을 마련하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

표준과 기술혁신의 연관성에 관한 소고 (An Essay on the Relationship between Standards and Technological Innovation)

  • 최근 '신표준경제'(New Standards Economy)라는 말이 나올 정도로 지식기반경제에서 (기술)표준은 국가경제 및 산업, 그리고 기업경영에 있어서 핵심요소로 부각되고 있다. 본 연구는 표준 및 표준화의 개념을 검토하고, 표준과 기술혁신의 연관성에 관한 경제이론을 재구성하였다. 즉 표준과 기술혁신의 연관성을 표준의 경제적 기능에 따라서 정리하고, 제품 및 공정의 차원, 기업혁신활동 차원, 그리고 국민경제적 차원에서 각각 살펴보았다. 이를 통하여 도출된 몇 가지 결론 및 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 표준은 그 기능(호환성, 품질확보/안전성, 정보제공, 다양성 감소)에 따라서 기술혁신에 미치는 효과가 상이하게 나타나며, 특히 기술혁신의 장애요인으로 작용할 수 있다. 예를 들어 호환성 표준의 경우 구기술에서 신기술로의 전환을 방해하는 잠김효과(lock-in effect)를 가져오며, 다양성 감소표준은 말 그대로 범위의 경제를 축소시킨다. 둘째, 표준 및 표준화는 제품혁신 및 공정혁신 측면에서도 긍정적인 역할을 수행한다. 셋째, 표준은 R&D활동, 생산 및 제조활동, 시장침투 및 확대, 공급사슬, 기술이전 등 기업혁신활동의 전 단계에 걸쳐 기술혁신을 촉진시키므로 이를 고려한 기업과 산업의 전략, 더 나아가서 정부의 R&D정책이 요구된다. 넷째, 국가혁신시스템(NIS) 관점에서 볼 때 표준은 인프라기술(infra-technology)로서 공공재적 성격을 가지므로 정부는 표준 및 표준화제도에 대한 적정투자 수준을 결정해야 한다. 이와 같은 표준과 기술현신의 연관성에 대한 이론적 논의를 토대로 향후 구체적인 가설설정을 통해 실증적인 검증이 요청된다.

  • The standardized education for medical college students not only provides the opportunity to get the exclusive knowledge as a professional but also is the basis of strong professional authority. Korean Oriental medicine has pursued to standardize the education system and curricula away from the traditional education system since the modernization started. And this standardization has worked as the basis of the status advancement of Korean Oriental medicine. Through the standardization of education system and curricula, Korean Oriental medicine has been professionalized and its social status has been heightened, stabilizing itself within the establishment of institution. After this, Korean Oriental medicine has kept pursuing standardization and professionalization in the educational area. It has achieved the professionalization of curricula reflecting the specificity of Korean Oriental medicine, following the model of western medical education. This paper investigated the attitude of Korean Oriental medical doctors toward the current Korean Oriental medical education. In the survey conducted in this study, how the Korean Oriental doctors view the education of Korean Oriental college in the areas such as 'standardization', 'specificity', 'Korean Oriental medical philosophy', 'responsibility', and 'professional ethics'. And the relationship between the demographic variables of Korean Oriental medical doctors and the educational contents which should be emphasized in Korean Oriental medical school has been examined. The subjects of this study were Korean Oriental medical doctors who work as professionals after graduation of Koran Oriental Medical School and, thus, this is a meaningful study in that the contents of education which the Korean Oriental medical doctors think are needed in practice are discussed.

현대 361개 경혈체계를 마련한 19세기 『침구봉원』의 침구의학과 침구경락 음양론 발전상 의의 (History of Acupuncture Medicine Witnessed the Setting of Modern Set of 361 Acupoints in the Classical Title of 19th Century, 『Exploring the Origin of Acupuncture Medicine (針灸逢源)』)

  • Objectives: "Exploring the origin of acupuncture medicine (針灸逢源)", a classical title of acupuncture medicine in the 19th century, has been reviewed with focus on its impact on the standardization of acupoint in the history of acupuncture medicine as an approach of yin-yang balancing medicine like the Temporomandibular joint Balancing Medicine. Methods: A narrative review of literature was performed with a focus on continuous development and revision of the knowledge system of acupuncture medicine in medical education and clinical application. Results: This title has provided a systematized knowledge on acupoint-acupuncutre including 361 acupoints, acupoint location, and acupoint-meridian association, which was adopted as a frame of core knowledge in modern acupuncture medicine. Critical review and rational reasoning on previously accepted but apparently incongruous strips of knowledge led to the accomplishment of this title. Conclusions: This title provided a revised and standard knowledge system in the field of medical education and clinical practice of acupuncture medicine, and also provided an exemplary model of unrelenting change and development of an approach based on the concept of yin-yang balance such as acupuncture medicine and the Temporomandibular joint Balancing Medicine.

  • Infobutton is an important concept from long time in use and much has been done with respect to its standardization and context supplementation. The concept is to create contextual links to information resources from within the information systems usually health information systems. The need which has been realized by the authors of this paper is the augmentation of Infobuttons from the level of only information links to the level of knowledge links. The authors proposed the concept of knowledge links named as "Knowledgebuttons" which complements the concept Infobuttons. It adds further capabilities of getting knowledge to the users instead of just connectivity to information resources. The better representation of the information retrieved with Infobuttons is the first and foundation step to achieve the goal of getting knowledge. This paper discusses about the concept and applicability of Knowledgebuttons in health information systems. It is envisioned that this concept will add to the overall quality of patient care. Both physicians and patients can benefit from this technique as per their needs. Physicians can help in patient diagnosis and treatment critical decisions while patients can educate them to know more about their health conditions by studying the right knowledge at right time. Knowledgebuttons are able to create a true learning environment for the users while using health information systems.

  • The international government committee is progressing their agreements about intellectual property protection of traditional knowledge(TK), gene resource(GR), folklore(FL) in WIPO. It is in the course of selection with precedence of TK, GR, FL in WIPO, focused on discussions about listing of TK documents, standardization of DB construction, sharing and profit distribution of GR. There are disagreements between developed countries and developing countries about intellectual property protection agreements of TK, GR. The developed countries insist on using the existing intellectual property protection, but the developing countries ask new ones on character of TK, GR. It causes intangible assets to be valuable trade properties in future world trade. This research Groped for a summary program about intellectual property protection of traditional knowledge(TK) etc. debating in WIPO. This program confirms that such as TK, GR etc. not only to be the cultural property accumulated in human history, but also to be the original resource may be using at present. Therefore, we suggest that the focus of discussion should transfer to UNESCO instead of WIPO which only deal with the intellectual property protection. Besides, the main body which protecting and supporting TK should become its holding organization so as to achieve more effective management about it. In order to protect and support TK, the government should have firstly the recognition that TK is the property belongs to the country. By this viewpoint, it needs to setup DB through overall excavation of the unofficial knowledges in order to protect and support these TK, GR. Because the positive dealing with those WIPO's discussion means to support our TK, GR, so there should have some reorganization about existing related ones, and also needs systemic supporting policies & management' system.

준축대칭 제품의 냉간단조 공정설계 및 금형설계 자동화 시스템 개발 (An Automated Process Planning and Die Design System for Quasi-axisymmetric Cold Forging Product)

  • This paper deals with an automated computer-aided process planning and die design system by which designer can determine operation sequences even if they have a little experience in process planning and die design of quasi-axisymmetric cold forging product by cold former working. The approach to the system is based on knowledge-based rules and a process knowledge base consisting of design rules is built. Knowledge for the system is formulated from plasticity theories, empirical results and the empirical knowledge of field experts. Programs for the system have been written in AutoLISP for the AutoCAD using a personal computer. An attempt is made to link programs incorporating a number of expert design rules with the process variables obtained by commercial FEM softwares, DEFORM and ANSYS, to form a useful package. The system is composed of three main modules and five sub-modules. The process planning and die design module considers several factors, such as the complexities of preform geometry, punch and die profiles, specifications of available cold farmer, and the availability of standard parts. As the system using 2D geometry recognition is integrated with the technology of process planning, die design, and CAE analysis, the standardization of die parts for wheel bolt requiring cold forging process is possible. The developed system makes it possible to design and manufacture quasi-axisymmetric cold forging product more efficiently.
