여행용 가방 패턴 디자인 유형 분석 및 디자인 개발 (A Study on the Classification and Development of Pattern Designs Represented in Luggage)

  • The purpose of this study is to research the characteristics and types applied to Korean and foreign luggage brands, and then develop pattern designs for the luggage by applying Korean cultural contents that meet the various fashion needs of travel goods. To select the Korean and foreign luggage brands, a web search was utilized by inputting the keyword, 'luggage brand'. The results, which were extracted from 200 web documents, produced 27 Korean brands and 29 foreign brands that met the requirements. For the data analysis, images and contents were collected through luggage brand websites, and then 927 pattern designs were extracted. The results were as follows. First, characters, figures, animals, and plants were commonly used for the pattern design motifs applied to Korean and foreign luggage. A notable trend was that these motifs were expressed in a stylistic way with a graphic touch. Also, a singular point was formed from the luggage overall, and regularly repeated patterns were very common as well. Secondly, pattern designs for luggage were developed through the application of 'Hangul', 'Hanbok', and 'Hanok'. Nine kinds of patterns were designed via the phases of change into a vector image and color adjustments, and were simulated in luggage design. Adobe Photoshop CS 7.0, and Adobe Illustrator CS 5.0 programs were used for the pattern designs and simulations. This study is meaningful in that it suggested pattern designs for different kinds of luggage in the motifs of Korean cultural contents. It can be used as a useful reference, as we are in a time period where travel goods have become individualized, advanced, and fashionable, as well as laying stress on original design based on cultural interpretation.

  • 본 시험은 고구마 육종에 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 1993년과 1994년에 작물시험장에서 보유하고 있는 유전자원 100품종에 대하여 전기영동법으로 esterase 동위효소와 단백질 특성을 분류하였던 바 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 잎의 esterase 동위락소 특성은 14가지 형으로 분류되었고 Ⅸ형에 가장 많은 46품종이 속하여 있으며, 다음은 Ⅶ, I, III, Ⅷ, II 및 V형의 순으로 47품종이 속하여 있고 나머지 7품종은 각기 다른 특성을 가지고 있었다. 효소의 수가 많은 I형에는 신율미, Beniastma 및 High Starch 등 육질이 분질인 품종이 분포 되었다. 2. 괴근의 esterase 동위리소 특성은 18가지 형으로 분류되 었고 C형은 가장 많은 22품종을 포함하고 있으며 그 다음은 B, K, A, E, 1 및 N 형 순이었다. 3. 괴근의 단백질 특성은 7가지 형으로분류되었고 I형은 36품종, IV형 27품종을 포함하였으며 다음은 II, III, Ⅶ 및 Ⅵ형 순이었다. 4. 잎과 괴근의 major esterase 동위효소와 major 단백질 분석 결과 Beniastma, Beniaka, Beniazuma 및 Benikomachi, Shiroshistma와 Shiroshastma는 유사한 품종이었고 기타는 다른 품종임을 알 수 있었다.

컴포넌트 결합 명세서에 기반한 컴포넌트 결합 모델 (A Component Composition Model based on Component Composition Specification)

  • 현재 대부분의 컴포넌트 기반 개발 환경 들이 특정 형태 컴포넌트와 이를 위한 프레임웍 기능 제공을 위주로 하는데 대하여, 좀 더 효과적인 컴포넌트 기반 개발 환경의 구축을 위해서는 재귀적 컴포넌트 결합 및 다양한 결합형태의 지원, 그리고 다중 티어 아키텍쳐를 지원할 수 있는 방안의 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 이의 해결 방안의 하나로 본 논문에서는 재귀적 컴포넌트 결합을 지원할 수 있으며, 컴포넌트간 상호 동작 조건을 기술할 수 있도록 확장된 컴포넌트 결합 명세의 기술 방안 및 이를 이용한 컴포넌트 결합 모델을 제안하였다. 제안된 결합 명세서는 기존의 컴포넌트 기술 방법들에서 지적되고 있는 컨트랙트로서의 부족한 기능을 보완하고 있을 뿐만 아니라 다양한 형태의 컴포넌트간 결합을 일관된 형태로 지원 함으로써 다중 티어(Multi-Tier) 개념을 지원하는 컴포넌트 아키텍쳐의 구현 및 이를 위한 컴포넌트 결합 도구의 구현에 활용될 수 있다.

센서 어레이와 주성분 기법을 이용한 가연성 가스 인식 (Recognization of Inflammable Gases Using Sensor Array and Principal Component Analysis)

  • 폭발성 및 가연성 가스의 종류 및 그 정량화론 위한 10개의 개별 센서가 하나의 기판 위에 집적시킨 센서 어레이를 개발하였다. 이 센서어레이는 여러 가지 가연성 가스(부탄, 메탄, 프로판, 일산화탄소, LPG)에 대해서 차별화 된 감도 패턴을 가지도록, 나노 사이즈의 grain를 가지는 $SnO_2$를 모 물질로 하는 10개의 서로 다근 감지 물질로 구성하였고, 센서어레이 전반에서 균일한 온도 분포가 되도록 히터를 기판에 내장시켰다. $400^{\circ}C$에서 동작하는 어레이상의 센서들은 저농도에서도 고감도와 재현성의 특성을 보여 주었다. 이들 감도패턴을 이용하여, 주성분 분석 기법을 통해 환경기준치(LEL, TLV) 범위에서 부탄, 프로판, 메탄, LPG의 폭발성 및 가연성 가스의 종류 인식 및 정량화 할 수 있었다. 그리고, 주성분 분석 기법으로 치적 센서 개수 선정에 응용하였다.

17세기 이전 조선시대 과정류의 문헌적 고찰 (An Investigation on 'Kwa-Jung';Traditional Korean Confectionery Items, Found in Korean Literatures Prior to the 17th Century)

  • In this study, we investigated the names and various types of "kwa-jung" along with their recipes and ingredients occurring in Korean cookbooks published before the 17th century. The kwa-jungs were classified into 7 groups including Yoomilkwa, Yookwa, Dasik, Junkwa, Kwapyun, Yutganjung and Dang. A total of 72 kinds of kwa-jung were found. 26 kinds of Yoomilkwa, 18 kinds of Yookwa, 7 kinds of Dasik, 10 kinds of Junkwa, 1 kind of Kwapyun, 3 kinds of Yutganjung and 8 kinds of Dang. Among the types of Yoomilkwa, Yackwa was recognized as the best food according to the references. Also the cooking methods for items had a tendency to become simpler as society became modernized. Original and rare Ingredients were often substituted with other items that could be found more easily where people lived As recorded, the Yookwa group included kangyung, sanja, and bingsakwa. And as society became modernized, people tended to buy Yookwa in the store rather than making it at home due to its complicated and often difficult cooking process. The Dasik items were a kneaded mixture of flour, or the flour of chestnuts, with honey. These were formed into various patterns like birds, animals, butterflies, tree leaves and flowers, or as ki-wha by using printing cooking utensils Honey was used as a sweetener and as a combining material. The Junkwa consisted of roots or fruits that could be easily obtained these cooked or raw foodstuffs were then mixed with sugar and simmered. The Kwapyun used sour fruit juices as a main ingredient. These were then combined with sugar and simmered and allowed to harden. Then they were cut into square shapes after cooling. Yutkangjung was a mixture of yut, chochung, honey or syrup and pine nuts. which was combined over low heat. After mixing and stirring it was cut into square shapes. Finally, the Yut was typically cooked with grains and powdered malt and stirred until thickened.

인천시 석남동 출토 직물에 관한 연구 (Characteristics of the Excavated Fabrics from unknown Woman's Tomb, Incheon)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the pieces of 100 fabrics excavated from unknown woman's tomb Incheon, by analyzing woven methods, names of the fabrics, the kinds and the shapes of the patterns. The characteristics to assume the period of the fabrics are as follows. The geumsundan which was woven peacock insignia at chest and back area was excavated for the first time from the tomb of Joseon. Peacock insignia woven with satin weave using supplementary golden wefts, wrapped gold thread. These kind of fabrics were usually imported in the $15^{th}$ century, according to the old documents, 'Nogeoldae' 'Joseonwangjosilrok' written at the end of Goryeo or early in Joseon. Thus, these relics are from about $15^{th}$ century. From this tomb, the mixture fabric of cotton and ramie are excavated. According to another excavated cases, the mixture fabric of cotton and ramie appears from the period before the Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592, and after the invasion, there are usually mixture fabric of cotton and silk. This also tells that these fabrics show the characteristics of those from the early period of Joseon Dynasty. The rounded patterns of Jangot is only shown from the fabrics of late Goryeo Dynasty, and the cloud pattern of an upper garment with a squared neckline is shown from the early Joseon Dynasty. So, the patterns from these excavated costumes are ranged from the late Goryeo Dynasty to the early Joseon Dynasty. To assume the period through the overall study above, these relics show the characteristics of the $15^{th}$ century fabric.

제주 초가(草家) 형태를 직물 문양으로 활용한 텍스타일 디자인 및 지역패션문화상품 개발 (The development of cultural products and textile designs with the patterns of Jeju Choga)

  • This study is to develop cultural products based on 'Jeju Choga', which means the traditional houses in Jeju. For the product development, old literature review, field surveys, and consumer surveys were employed. Through old literatures and field surveys, the unique and visual characteristics of Jeju Choga were confirmed: A thatched roof with lattice pattern, a side wall and fences with porous stones, a 'Jungnang' serving as a gate, and a 'Pungchai' preventing strong sola radiation and 'Ollai' meaning a narrow street in front of the Choga. As a results of consumer survey conducted before the development of products, consumers highly recognized and associated Jeju Choga as Jeju representative image. The six basic patterns of Jeju Choga were drawn and eight textile designs were created through the repeated arrangements of the basic patterns. Using the created textile designs and digital printing method, the eleven new fabrics with the patterns of Jeju Choga were developed. The various kinds of ten bags and tow wallets made with the new fabrics. As a result of consumer evaluation for the twelve products made in this study, the scores of preference and purchase intention were above the average work for the most products of them. In particular, the preference and purchase intention of the square shoulder bag, the big-size shopper bag, and the small-size cross bag were very positively evaluated. Therefore, it is confirmed that Jeju Choga could be very useful as a motif for the development of cultural products focusing on Jeju tourism souvenir market.

장갑 패턴 개발을 위한 손의 유형 분류 (Classification of Hand Types for the Development of Glove Patterns)

  • The hand performs functions such as grabbing and other movements. In order to accomplish these movements in various kinds of operational environments, appropriate gloves must be worn to protect your hands. Choosing the appropriate type of glove is very important when wearing gloves in these types of operational environments. The reasons one wears gloves varies depending on age and gender. Unmarried women in their early twenties, for example, occasionally wear gloves for decoration rather than for functional reasons. However, previous studies examined a range of topics, and as such investigations dealing with specific body shape and demands of consumer are needed. Therefore in this study, the hands of unmarried women ranging in age from 20 to 24 were measured and hand shape types were analyzed in order to present basal data which can be used to help design improved glove patterns and produce appropriate, functional gloves. A total of 261 Korean women were measured. Fifty-seven right hand dimensions were measured and five dimensions from both hands were measured. Six factors were identified through factor analysis and those factors constituted $73.259\%$ of total variance. Two clusters of hand shapes were categorized using 6 factor scores by cluster analysis. Type 1 hand shape is defined as long hands with small width, girth, and thickness, long and thin fingers, and high vertical palm height. Type 2 hand shape is defined as short hands with large width, girth and thickness, short fingers, thick knuckles, and short vertical palm height. The characteristics of type 1 and 2 hand shapes are similar to women's hand type classification results from previous reports, but there was a significant difference in subject distribution by type. Therefore, standard data on hand shapes should be produced by developing measuring instruments and selling more accurate standard measuring points. By doing this it could help in the development of improved glove patterns, and also aid in planning production based on hand type.

과학 현상에 대한 초등학생들의 의문 유형과 초등교사들의 설명 유형과의 관계 (The Relationships between the Patterns of Elementary School Teachers' Explanations and the Patterns of Elementary School Students' Questions on Scientific Phenomena)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the relationships between the patterns of elementary school teachers' explanations and the patterns of students' questions types on scientific phenomena. for the purposes of this study, we collected questions related to scientific phenomena from 255 $3rd{\sim}6th$ students in 2 elementary schools. Classifying the students' questions collected, 20 representative questions for each type were selected. Data regarding teachers' scientific explanation from 62 teachers of 3 elementary schools were also collected. The results of the analysis of the questions for each science field show that the students in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades have the most questions regarding biology, and those in the 6th grade have more questions regarding earth science. Regarding question types, object exploration questions and explican exploration questions formed the majority. Moreover, the higher the students' grades, a decrease in the number of conjectural questions and an increase in the number of causal questions were observed. As a result of the analysis of the teachers' explanation, the following explanation types could be discerned; conjecture, hypothesis, prediction, teleological explanation, information given to feed exploration questions, as well as verification and information supply fer verification purposes. There were 4 kinds of relationships between question types and explanation types. One was the explanation fitting to each question type, a second was the explanation with additional content than the question required, a third was where the explanation was inappropriate to the question, and a forth was where the teacher responded that they "don't know." This study, investigating the relationships between questioning as a scientific inquiry process and explanation, will help to promote discussion regarding science classes in elementary school.

휴대형 정보기기의 한글 및 영숫자 필기 입력 방안 (The input method of the Hangul and Alphanumeric characters for the PDAs)

  • 본 논문에서는 키보드를 사용하지 않는 PDA 등 휴대형 컴퓨터에서 입력의 수단으로 사용하는 온-라인 문자 인식기를 위한 문자 필기글꼴을 제안하였다. 제안된 필기글꼴은 키보드를 통하여 입력 가능한 수준의 한글 자소와 영숫자이며, 필기글꼴의 정의를 위하여 한글의 풀어쓰기 글꼴과 영문자의 PDA용 필기 패턴인 그래피티 문자를 분석하여, 한글과 영숫자 입력 모드 전환이나 필기 영역의 구분 없이 연속 필기하여도 인식 가능하도록 중복되는 글꼴을 갖지 않도록 하면서 최대한 원형을 유지하도록 하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 필기글꼴의 타당성을 고찰하기 위하여 그래피티 문자를 알고 있는 PDA 사용자 그룹과 일반인들을 대상으로 인지도와 만족도를 조사하였다. 두 피실험 그룹의 영숫자 및 한글의 자음의 인지도 및 만족도는 98% 이상이었고 한글 모음의 경우 95% 이상의 긍정적인 반응을 얻었다.
