Complementarity, complementary principle and complementary approach have been often used in school mathematics but its meaning has not been obvious. Thus this paper tries to make explicit the meaning by looking around complementary characteristic of mathematical knowledge. First of all, we examines the general meaning of complementarity and Investigate complementary characteristics of mathematical concepts through incommensurability and zeno's paradox. From this, complementary approach to school mathematics is studied. To understand and uncover complementary characteristics of mathematical concepts make it possible for student to have an insight. It is the most important thing that students can have an image of mathematics as a living system rather than as a mechanical application of rules and fragmentary in formations.

Many statistics, such as Cohen's (1960) ${\kappa}$, Scott's (1955) ${\pi}$, and Park and Park's (2007) H have been proposed as measures of agreement to represent inter-rater reliability. This study compared bias, SE, MSE, and CV of the measures of agreement with nominal and ordinal categories in the balanced marginal distributions, and those with nominal categories in the two paradoxical situations. As a result, in all cases, AC1and Hhad smaller SE and CV.

This paper deals with the question whether the para-completeness theory of Kripkian style can avoid the revenge problem. According to the para-completeness theory, there are some sentences that are neither true nor false. And the liar sentence is the exemplar of such sentences. But the para-completeness theory has been criticised to give rise to the revenge problem, since Kripke suggested his theory. Maudlin argues that he can construct the para-completeness theory which avoids the problem by appealing to his foundationalist semantics. The aim of this paper shows that the para-completeness theory, including Maudlin's, cannot avoid the problem. Furthermore, it is argued that Maudlin's view is ad hoc suggestion just to avoid the problem.

We consider a correlated discrete-time random walk in which the current jump size depends on the previous jump size and a noncorrelated discrete-time random walk where the jump size is determined independently. By using the strong law of large numbers of Markov chains we derive the formula for the asymptotic means of the random mixture and the periodic pattern of these two random walks and then we show that there exists Parrondo's paradox where each random walk has mean 0 but their random mixture and periodic pattern have negative or positive means. We describe the parameter sets at which Parrondo's paradox holds in each case.

The model used in this study was reversed to analyze the cause of excessive damage that occurred inside the rotating system and pipe system of a centrifugal-type seawater pump on a ship. For this purpose, internal flow analysis on a cooling seawater pump was performed using CFD. As a result, the shape and boundary conditions of the target pump were set by reverse engineering, and pump efficiency at a design operating point of $125m^3/h$ was calculated as 85.3 % with a head of 32.0 m. The maximum efficiency point of the target pump was estimated to be 86.2 % at $150m^3/h$, but this differed from the actual operating point. At $112.5m^3/h$, which was the lowest flow point, flow was unstable due to the characteristics of the low flow point and analysis convergence was not good. The purpose of this study was to clarify the cause of ongoing cavitation in seawater pumps and piping systems in operation. Future research will be needed to clarify causes for pipe systems in the future by performing calculations for the total piping system of an inlet and outlet, in addition to measuring the flow rate of each branch pipe.

풍력발전의 확산과 수용은 전력시장의 특성으로 인하여 국가적 차원의 정책에 의존될 수밖에 없으며, 그 성과도 정책의 적정성과 수행의지에 달려 있다. 역설적으로 풍력발전은 국가 기획에 의하여 시장 조성이 가능하고, 따라서 풍력발전 설비제조, 발전단지 건설 및 운영 등으로 구성되는 "풍력산업"은 하나의 신흥 산업부문으로 국가적 차원의 적정한 정책 수단으로 육성될 수 있다. 선진 외국의 전지시장에서 관찰되는 풍력발전의 확산과 수용 과정을 참고로, 우리나라에서의 풍력발전보급의 활성화를 위한 원론적 방안을 모색하고자 하였다.

Independent-suspension type axles for heavy duty special vehicles are usually produced by only a few specialized companies. The special techniques, such as designing, producing, testing techniques has been unveiled. The test of durability with the vehicle in which is installed a prototype taking several years is required for setting the designing parameters. In this research, through-drive the core-component of the independent-suspension type axle has been tested with the reverse engineering and the testing methods for the confirmation of the accomplishment in the development goal has been suggested. Also the prototype is developed from designing and testing the design with the CAD and CAE tools. As a result, the process and testing methods studied in this research are useful in the development of power train.

본 보고서는 KISA의 지원에 의하여 수행된 2016년 '전자상거래제도개선전담반'의 토론내용을 중심으로 대표저자인 필자가 작성했다. 우리나라는 2016년초 처음으로 전자상거래 무역이 흑자를 기록했다. 그러나 무역 규모에 비해 전자상거래 수출실적이 극히 미흡하다는 판단 아래 정책 효과를 배가할 범정부적 제도 개선책을 도출했다. 제I장에서는 전자상거래가 앞으로 대한민국 수출의 경제성장 동력원으로서 일익을 담당할 중요한 부문임을 역설하고, 제II장 본론에서 용어의 통일, 전자상거래 무역통계 제도 개선, 유통 통관 관세 제도 개선, 전자상거래 고급인력 양성, 글로벌 공동이용 플랫폼 기술개발 지원, 전자상거래 지원을 위한 표준화 등 개선안을 정리하였고, 제III장에서는 정책제언을 수록했다.

본고는 지난 3월 18일 오전 5시 KBS 1FM에 방송된 "농수산 정책진단"(중앙대 윤석원 교수 진행)을 기록 발췌한 것으로, 방송에 참여한 협회 이승호 협회장은 한미 FTA 협상의 추진상 문제점과 낙농산업의 피해규모 양상을 열거하고 왜 기본적으로 한미 TA를 반대할 수 밖에 없는지의 당위성을 밝히며 당장이라도 협상은 중단되어야 함을 역설할 바 있다. 특히 유제품 시장개방 확대 위기속에 우리 낙농산업의 안정을 위한 정책과제로 전국단일쿼터제 실시와 변칙적인 수입유제품의 수입을 억제하기 위한 HS code의 세분화, 구내 치즈산업의 육성을 위한 제도마련, 학교우유급식 확대를 위한 급식관련법안의 개정 등이 제시되었다.

이글은 최근 일본조일신문의 조일상을 받은 "세계의 식생으로부터 본 일본.녹(푸른숲) 회복의 처방안"의 필자 궁협 소씨의 글인데 일본인들은 마음속 깊은곳에 조엽수림문화의 모태인 숲이 있다는 것을 강조하고 있는 점은 우리와 비슷하다 할수 있다. 앞으로의 사회는 이공학자보다 생태학자를 우대하고 그들이 새시대에 대처하는 구도아래 도시계획.지역계획이 세워져야 한다고 역설하고 있어 작년 우리나라의 무분별한 녹지파괴의 현실을 개탄하는 우리들에겐 심금을 울리는 글이라 하겠다.
