A DCT Learning Combined RRU-Net for the Image Splicing Forgery Detection (DCT 학습을 융합한 RRU-Net 기반 이미지 스플라이싱 위조 영역 탐지 모델)

  • This paper proposes a lightweight deep learning network for detecting an image splicing forgery. The research on image forgery detection using CNN, a deep learning network, and research on detecting and localizing forgery in pixel units are in progress. Among them, CAT-Net, which learns the discrete cosine transform coefficients of images together with images, was released in 2022. The DCT coefficients presented by CAT-Net are combined with the JPEG artifact learning module and the backbone model as pre-learning, and the weights are fixed. The dataset used for pre-training is not included in the public dataset, and the backbone model has a relatively large number of network parameters, which causes overfitting in a small dataset, hindering generalization performance. In this paper, this learning module is designed to learn the characterization depending on the DCT domain in real-time during network training without pre-training. The DCT RRU-Net proposed in this paper is a network that combines RRU-Net which detects forgery by learning only images and JPEG artifact learning module. It is confirmed that the network parameters are less than those of CAT-Net, the detection performance of forgery is better than that of RRU-Net, and the generalization performance for various datasets improves through the network architecture and training method of DCT RRU-Net.

  • The recent frequent cases of damage due to leakage of medical data and the privacy of medical patients is increasing day by day. The government says the Privacy Rule regulations established for these victims, such as prevention. Medical data guidelines can be seen 'national medical privacy guidelines' is only released. When replacing the image data between the institutions it has been included in the image file (JPG, JPEG, TIFF) there is exchange of data in common formats such as being made when the file is leaked to an external file there is a risk that the exposure key identification information of the patient. This medial image file has no protection such as encryption, This this paper, introduces a masking technique using a mosaic technique encrypting the image file contains the application to optical character recognition techniques. We propose pseudonymization technique of personal information in the image data.

Real-time classification system of emotion image using physiological signal (생리신호에 의한 감성 이미지 실시간 분류 시스템 개발)

  • 본 연구에서는 실시간으로 변화하는 사용자의 감성을 평가하여 각성 또는 이완으로 분류된 시선 정보 이미지를 저장하는 시스템을 구현하고자 한다. 사용자의 감성을 분류하기 위한 요소는 Larson과 Diner 가 정의한 2 차원 감성모델에서 각성, 이완 요소를 사용한다. 감성 상태를 분류하기 위하여 자율 신경계 중 착용과 휴대가 간편한 PPG 센서를 사용하며, PPG 를 분석하기 위한 변수로는 진폭의 양과 초당 Peak 의 빈도수를 사용한다. 머리에 고정할 수 있는 캠을 사용하여 사용자가 바라보는 시선 정보를 획득하고, 클라이언트 컴퓨터는 획득된 시선 정보를 UDP 통신을 사용해 서버 컴퓨터로 전송하는 시스템이다. 320(pixel)*240(pixel)*32(bit)인 영상 데이터를 1/30 로 압축하여 전송하며, 각성과 이완으로 분류되는 시점의 영상을 블록화하여 JPEG 이미지로 저장한다. 본 시스템은 실시간으로 변화되는 사용자의 감성 상태를 파악하여 이미지를 전송하고 서버 컴퓨터에 저장함으로써 당시 사용자가 느꼈던 감성들에 대해 피드백을 주고자 하는데 의의가 있다.

  • 본 논문은 16비트 칼라 LCD 디스플레이 장치를 갖는 휴대용 단말기에 영상을 이용한 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스(Graphic User Interface : GUI)를 제공함에 있어 단말기의 저장 공간을 효율적으로 사용하기 위하여 대부분 비손실 영상 압축 기법을 사용하는데, 이들 압축 기법의 압축 효과를 높이기 위한 전처리 과정 방법에 대하여 기술한다. 전처리 과정은 일반적인 칼라 영상의 각 8비트로 구성된 R, G, B 컴포넌트를 16비트로 구성된 RGB 비트 수에 맞도록 원 영상의 칼라를 조정, 16비트로 축소된 칼라 영상에서 사용된 칼라 수를 계산하는 단계 칼라 수가 사용자가 입력한 칼라수의 임계값 보다 작은 경우 인덱스 칼라 이미지를 만드는 단계, 인덱스화된 영상과 칼라 수가 임계값 보다 큰 경우 16비트 칼라 영상을 대상으로 영상을 겹치지 않게 분할하는 단계 분할된 영상의 각 블록 단위로 Run의 평균 개수가 가장 많은 스캐닝 방법을 결정하는 단계 그리고 스케닝 순서에 따른 기존의 비손실 압축 기법을 적용의 순으로 이루어진다. 본 논문에서 기술한 전처리 단계를 거친 영상을 JPEG-LS에 적용하였을 경우 동일한 영상에서 약 $10{\sim}20%$의 압축 효율을 얻을 수 있었다.

  • DCT(Discrete Cosine Transform) 변환은 MPEG과 JPEG 표준에 의하여 영상이나 비디오 영상을 압축하는데 사용되어져 왔다. 본 연구에서는 이상적인 경계가 관련된 특성을 유도하고, 실시간 처리를 위하여 모델에 바탕을 둔 DCT 영역에서의 불연속 경계 평가 방법을 제안한다. 이 방법은 방향 검증과 위치 정렬 등의 평가로 구성된다. 두 가지의 평가 방법에 의하여 경계의 다양한 방향과위치를 알 수 있으며, DCT 계수들을 표준화된 형식으로 정렬시킬 수 있고, 표준화된 DCT 계수에서 이상적인 계단 경계의 특성과 비교하여 경계의 크기를 산출할 수 있다. DCT 계수가 8x8의 블록 단위로 이루어져 있어 경계의 표현이 조밀하지는 않지만 처리 시간이 빠르고 잡음에 강한 특성을 가지고 있어 다양한 실시간 응용분야에 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • In this paper we propose new image coding using wavelet transform. The new method constructs hierarchical bit plane and progressively transports each bit plane. The Proposed algorithm not only supports multi-resolution, dividing original image into special band and various resolution using Antonini's wavelet basis function but also reduces blocking effects that come into JPEG. In encoding time this algorithm considers each band characters and priority of transport order, and applies to fast search of image.

  • In this work, new smart phone based moving target detection is proposed. In order to implement the task, methods of real time image transmission from network camera, motion detecting algorithm and its effective implementation are also addressed. The network camera transfers image data by MJPEG format which contains various information such as data and IP address, and the smart phone separates the image data received through a WiFi module. Later, the image data is converted to a Bitmap image format, and with the help of the embedded OpenCV library on a smart phone and algorithm, it was found that the moving object was identified effectively in terms of real time monitoring and detection.

A Color Image Watermarking Method for Embedding Audio Signal

  • The rapid development of digital media and communication network urgently brings about the need of data certification technology to protect IPR (Intellectual property right). This paper proposed a new watermarking method for embedding contents owner's audio signal in order to protect color image IPR. Since this method evolves the existing static model and embeds audio signal of big data, it has the advantage of restoring signal transformed due to attacks. Three basic stages of watermarking include: 1) Encode analogue ID owner's audio signal using PCM and create new 3D audio watermark; 2) Interleave 3D audio watermark by linear bit expansion and 3) Transform Y signal of color image into wavelet and embed interleaved audio watermark in the low frequency band on the transform domain. The results demonstrated that the audio signal embedding in color image proposed in this paper enhanced robustness against lossy JPEG compression, standard image compression and image cropping and rotation which remove a part of image.

Raw Speech Based Digital Watermarking Using Zerotrees of DWT

  • In this paper, the zerotrees of DWT is proposed to be used in a speech based digital watermarking for digital images. Since in this research work the raw speech and its content are used as a watermark signal, in the watermarking scheme, the PCM coded speech signal is embedded into a sequence of images. The performance of the scheme is evaluated by the PSNR obtained from the watermarked images and the strength of attacks the embedded speech signal can survive. Moreover, since in this research work the contents contained in the speech is used to identify the specific information hidden in the embedded signal. The speech signal after being extracted from the watermarked images is played back to the listeners to determine whether its content is intelligible or not. The experimental results show impressive performance of the scheme implementing our proposed technique, judged by the higher robustness obtained form the embedded signal against various types of attack, including brightness/contrast enhancement, Twirling, highpass filtering and JPEG compression standard.

  • This paper proposes a novel method for content-based watermarking based on feature points of an image. At each feature point, watermark is embedded after affine normalization according to the local characteristic scale and orientation. The characteristic scale is the scale at which the normalized scale-space representation of an image attains a maximum value, and the characteristic orientation is the angle of the principal axis of an image. By binding watermarking with the local characteristics of an image, resilience against affine transformations can be obtained. Experimental results show that the proposed method is robust against various image processing steps including affine transformations, cropping, filtering, and JPEG compression.
