The article examines one of the most important means of visualization of mass information on the Internet - information graphics in the broadest sense of the term as a visual technology for presenting mass information. The main objectives of the article are to determine the genre-typological features of infographics and basic technological principles; identification of features of creation and use of information graphics in modern network. Certain benefits of online infographic editors include savings in resources and time. They allow the user, who has basic PC skills, to create standardized infographics based on their own data. In addition, the use of online services develops visual thinking, allows you to get an idea of quality criteria and current trends in infographics, as well as to gain initial experience in the visual presentation of data.

The article examines the process of professional training in educational institutions, media technologies and methods of media communication in the educational space of the institution, characterizes the place of media technologies in the educational space in the context of the term "educational space" itself, systematizes the methods of media communications in education. AI-powered robot news is drawing attention as artificial intelligence technology is fully spread in the news distribution field. Robot news still has many technical and ethical problems, but academic research on this is insufficient. This study analyzes the issue of robot writing in artificial intelligent based robot journalism industry using SWOT analysis. As a result, the advantages of big data processes, accurate information gathering, high efficiency and disadvantages such as lack of independent arguments and lack of evidence and opportunities for technical development, government support, academic development, and industrial applications, and threats such as uncritical acceptance and lack of talent have been found. This study suggests three future-oriented directions, such as human-machine collaboration, intelligent news, and chat-bot, through previous studies on the development direction of robot journalism-based article writing.

The article describes the concept of a Web-portal of an educational institution; the technical conditions for the creation of the Web-portal of the educational institution were determined; the features of the use of the Web-portal in the educational process and its organization are revealed. The scientific and practical value of the article lies in the fact that the use of portals in education will improve the management of an educational institution, activate and bring the educational process to the level of modern technologies at all its stages, as well as enhance the interaction of parents and students with employees of the educational institution.

The article notes that one of the reasons for the crisis in education was the sharp discrepancy between the emerging new forms and content and the model of macro-management that has developed over the decades. The level of management of the educational system did not emerge as a specific activity characterized by its own mechanisms and processes, just as qualified carriers of this activity - professionals - managers - did not appear. At the same time, there is practically no theoretical and methodological model of the macrolevel of education management, that is, management of the educational system as an integral structure.

The advent of Social Journalism coincided with the rise of social media to create and deliver news information; as a type of civic journalism, social journalism may be characterized as a new form of information gathering and news reporting which is fed by citizens creating news information through their use social networking services (SNSs). The current study analyzed a Facebook page called, to determine how this page was utilized during the onset of the citizen movement for the Egyptian democratic revolution to produce news, to facilitate interaction among the public and to deliver the news under the form of networked journalism. Each post uploaded onto the Facebook page from January 27 till February 2, 2011 was coded in its category, content and the contextual frame of the news. The results of the study showed that during the first week, straight news rather than those with opinions was produced most frequently. The research findings of the current study suggest that in a society of political turmoil, such as in Egypt and other Arabic countries, when the institutionalized media are controlled severely by the government or other forces, SNSs can perform journalistic media roles which create and distribute news information representing facts and reality, and simultaneously facilitate the public's interactions on social and political issues.

An examination of the previous works regarding the concept of "fairness" in the journalism revealed that the concept is widely used but remains inadequately defined. Furthermore, there is much less agreement about the characteristics defining "fairness" in the literature. Thus it has often caused disagreement among people who have different political perspectives in the judgment about any media coverage. I suggest a reconceptualization and extension of the construct "fairness" in order to reduce the ambiguity and conflicts in the judgment of fairness among people. Most importantly, drawing on the concept of "autonomy," I attempt to fill in the gap in the model of "fairness." According to the logic of "autonomy," the "fair" press can not exist without the freedom of the press. In other words, all external/internal constraints, which intrude on the freedom of the press, encroach the "fairness" of the press. Thus, the freedom of the press is necessary condition for the fairness in the journalism. However, the freedom of the press is not enough to realize the fairness in the journalism. It needs the sufficient rendition, which is the "autonomy" encompassing the ability of news organization, journalists, and audiences that they resist to any constraints against neutral value. Consequently, the emphasis on the "autonomy" which keeps neutral value perspectives will contribute to reshape the framework for evaluation of "fairness" in journalism.

The purpose of this study is to explore the journalist Song Kun-Ho's ideas of Korean Journalism. The journalist Song Kun-Ho was born in 1926 and passed away in 2001. He became a reporter in 1953 when he was a student at department of law of Seoul National University. He has worked for several media and resigned the executive editor at the Dong Ah Ilbo in 1975. At that time, while many reporters of the Dong Ah Ilbo struggled for the freedom of the press, he tried to protect reporters and independence of media. After his resignation of the executive editor, he wrote many columns and several books for Korean nationalism and the democracy of journalism. Instead of working for the authoritarian military regime, he chose a lonely and rough life as an intellectual journalist in action. Finally, he, as a president, established the Hankyoreh daily newspaper which was funded by tens of thousands citizens. He passed away in 2001. His ideas of Korean journalism are nationalism, democracy, and independency. These ideas are very important to restore democratic journalism which has been at risk during the Lee Myung-bak administration.

Job seeking for young adults after college in South Korea is much fierce and highly competitive. Many job seekers tend to experience despair, frustration, and insecurity in such a dire social situation. This study focuses on the job seeking experiences of younger generation people by closely examining the self-introduction letters. This work pays keen attention to the narrative strategies and portrayal of the applicants' self-described activities in these forms of letters through a detailed textual and cultural analysis. In doing so, this analysis attempts to contextualize the complex structures of feeling for the part of young job seekers as well as various social factors and pressures that influence on them.

This study analyzes the current status of drone journalism in Korean broadcasting industry, with a case study of TV Chosun Company's drone use for news gathering. It analyzes TV Chosun's record of drone logs between 2014 and 2018. The log consists of date, time, news content, users, machine and on-air date. In 2014, the total of 31 cases of using drones for news gathering is identified, while in 2018, the frequency increases to 60, with a gradual, annual increase, making the total frequency of 160, during the period between 2014 and 2018. This means that the broadcasting company used the drone news gathering system every week. The analysis also reveals that the company used this drone news gathering system mostly in the metropolitan area in Korea, amounting to more than 76 per cent of its total use: 31.3 per cent in Seoul, 36.9 per cent in Kyunggi, and 8.1 percent in Incheon. The system was more frequently used in the summer and autumn than the winter and spring. Interestingly, it was first popularly used for disaster related news, but the use of drone for social and other issues is increasing every year, which may imply its diverse use in the future.
