The plunge joints of C.V. Joint for vehicle tend to produce a cyclic axial disturbance at a frequency of three of six times shaft speed, in which this distrubance caused by internal frictional effect is related to joint angle, rotational speed, torque, and joint size. This principal axial thrust force might make vehicle shuddered when coinciding with vehicle frequency of tranverse direction, and be one of reasons to have driver feel uncomfortable, unesay, while driving vehicle. The paper makes analysis of axial thrust force & vehicle shudder through computer simulation, comparing the result with experimental data, and reviewing the effect by changing of variables such as dimensions and driving conditions.

In this paper, when the moving object move to the three-dimentional space, the tracking system track the moving object using the fuzzy reasoning. The joint angle el of the manipulator rotate from $0^{\circ}\; to\; 360^{\circ}$ , and the joint angle $\theta_2$rotate from$0^{\circ}\; to\; 360^{\circ}$. The fuzzy singleton is used for fuzzification and the control rule is twenty five and the fuzzy inference method is simplified Mamdani's reasoning and the defuzzification is the SCOG(Simplified Center Of Gravity) of the fuzzy controller To measure of the performance of the designed system, the fuzzy controller is compared with the CTM(Computed Torque Method) controller at the same condition. when the disturbance torque is ON, the both of CTM and fuzzy controller tracked object without error, However, the disturbance torque changed 0.4N, the CTM controller is 10 times greater than fuzzy controller at the sum of absolute error difference. The designed system is showed it's robustness against with disturbance.
In this paper, a force estimation method is proposed for the sensorless force control. For this, a disturbance observer is applied to each joint of an n degrees of freedom manipulator to obtain a simple equivalent robot dynamics(SERD) being represented as an n independent double integrator system. To estimate the output of disturbance observer in the absence of external force, the observer estimator is designed, where the uncertain parameters of the robot manipulator are adjusted by gradient method to minimize the output between the disturbance observer and the observer estimator. When the external force is exerted, the external force is estimated using the difference between the output of disturbance observer which include the external torque signal and that of observer estimator. And then, a force controller is designed for force feedback control employing the estimated force signal. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed force estimation method, several numerical examples are illustrated for the 2-axis planar type robot manipulator.

This paper presents the optimal redundant actuation of parallel manipulators for complicated robotic applications such as cutting grinding drilling and digging that require a high degree of operational stiffness as well as the balance between force applicability and dexterity. First by taking into account the distribution(number and location) of active joints the statics and the operational stiffness of a redundant parallel manipulator are formulated and the effects of actuation redundancy are analyzed, Second for given task requirements including joint torque limit task force maximum allowable disturbance and maximum allowable deflection the task execution conditions of a redundant parallel manipulator are derived and the efficient testing formulas are provided. Third to achieve high operational stiffness while maintaining moderate dexterity the redundant actuation of a parallel manipulator is optimized which determines the optimal distribution of active joints and the optimal internal joint torque, Finally the simulation results for the optimal redundant actuation of a planar parallel manipulator are given.
This paper proposes a simple and intuitive model-free torque-tracking control for rotary electro-hydraulic actuators. The undesirable natural-velocity-feedback effect is discussed by introducing mechanical impedance into the electro-hydraulic actuation system. The proposed model-free torque control comprises inner- and outer-loop control to achieve two control objectives. Inner-loop control reduces the mechanical impedance passively and optimally. To improve the tracking accuracy, a certain form of proportional-integral-derivative control is applied to the outer loop. The robustness of the proposed closed-loop system against external disturbances is demonstrated by transforming the two-loop control structure into a disturbance observer form. The proposed method is validated on a single joint electro-hydraulic actuator.
In this paper we investigate the application to the motion control of n-link robotic manipulators of recently developed stable factorization approach to tracking and disturbance rejection. Given control scheme consists of an approximate "Computed Torque" based upon a simplified model together with additional state feedback and feedforward compensation, and then, nonlinear control gain has more useful than constant control gain to guarantee robustness to parameter uncertainty and external disturbance. At this stage, we design high gain nonlinear state feedback controller and simulate this controller at the SCARA type robot manipulator of two joint.

An Unscented Kalman Filter (UKF) for estimation of the attitude and rate of a spacecraft using only magnetometer vector measurement is developed. The attitude dynamics used in the estimation is the nonlinear Euler's rotational equation which is augmented with the quaternion kinematics to construct a process model. The filter is designed for small satellite in low Earth orbit, so the disturbance torques include gravity-gradient torque, magnetic disturbance torque, and aerodynamic drag torque. The magnetometer measurements are simulated based on time-varying position of the spacecraft. The filter has been tested not only in the standby mode but also in the detumbling mode. Two types of actuators have been modeled and applied in the simulation. The PD controller is used for the two types of actuators (reaction wheels and thrusters) to detumble the spacecraft. The estimation error converged to within 5 deg for attitude and 0.1 deg/s for rate respectively when the two types of actuators were used. A joint state parameter estimation has been tested and the effect of the process noise covariance on the parameter estimation has been indicated. Also, Monte-Carlo simulations have been performed to test the capability of the filter to converge with the initial conditions sampled from a uniform distribution. Finally, the UKF performance has been compared to that of the EKF and it demonstrates that UKF slightly outperforms EKF. The developed algorithm can be applied to any type of small satellites that are actuated by magnetic torquers, reaction wheels or thrusters with a capability of magnetometer vector measurements for attitude and rate estimation.

The usage of constant velocity (CV) joint is effective for motorboats on gliding regime of the motion. During transition on the gliding when angle of the CV differs from null on driving and driven composite shafts there are moments of the second order. Excitation of oscillations of the second order moments occurs when driving shafts transmits a variable torque. which generates through CV joint a lateral moment acting on the bearing. As a result of oscillations from a resonating harmonic of a shafting the harmonic with the greater or periodically varying amplitude for power condition trough transferring to nominal power 144kW. Beating conditions coincide with third mode having frequency 45.486 Hz. In that case there is high increasing of the equivalent stresses. The forming of the stiffness of the composite material is concerned to use most orientation of the layer angle in the range of $\pm$60 degrees relatively of shaft axis. Application of that angles for layer orientation gives possibility to avoid high disturbance of the shafting for motorboat transition regime.
