They consists of manufacturing, sales, distribution, consumption and collection, and that are in charge of core functions for suppliers' customer satisfaction management and consumers' satisfaction with consuming activities. Research design, data, and methodology - The customer satisfaction factors of customer support centers were derived through literature review and expert opinion surveys, and a questionnaire was developed through a process of the refinement of variables using pilot tests and 330 questionnaire sheets were distributed. The questionnaire sheets were collected and opinions in them were analyzed using fuzzy AHP methodology. Results - Three factors, which are turnover intentions, motivation, and job satisfaction, were derived as customer satisfaction factors of customer support centers, and the ranking relationships of these three factors were analyzed. In addition, the ranking relationships among six execution variables of turnover intentions, 10 execution variables of motivation, and 10 execution variables of job satisfaction were analyzed using fuzzy AHP methodology to obtain quite significant results. Based on the results of this study, three implications in the three strategic aspects and an implication in the academic aspects are presented. Conclusions - Motivation and job satisfaction, job satisfaction and turnover intentions, and motivation and turnover intentions are not formed by independent or different factors or environments. They are in the same context with each other (maintaining high correlations) and are in the relationships of virtuous circles in which they complement each other.

  • A study on how fire officer's job satisfaction factors influence space satisfaction rates. This article will conduct regression analysis for the study on these three problems. 'What are the factors of fire officer's job satisfaction?', 'Does space satisfaction rates influence job satisfaction rates?', 'Which job satisfaction factor influence space satisfaction rate?' Therefore, variables were set based on the prior study, and before regression analysis was conducted, variables were purified through analysis on primary factor and reliability analysis, and hypothesis test was done via variable calculation. According to the prior study, factors that influence job satisfaction rates are as following; self-regulation of tasks, ethics and responsibility level, relationship with colleagues, job identity. And regression analysis showed that space satisfaction rates do not influence job satisfaction rates. The writer thinks that it's showing that Korean fire officers tend to prioritize colleague relationship and job identity over space improvements. And the factor that influence job satisfaction rates turned out to be the self-regulation of tasks, and the writer estimates that it's reflecting the hierarchical organization culture of current Korean fire officers. Therefore, future Korean fire station design plans need to consider a space plan that provides fire officer's private self-regulation of tasks.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify patterns of and trends in studies of job satisfaction among Korean nurses as selected from master theses whose research had covered studies from the period $1972{\sim}1997$. These studies were analyzed for publication date, research design, theoretical framework, research questions, and research hypotheses, subjects, sampling methods, measurement tools, statistical analyses, job satisfaction-related variables, and suggestions for further research. The findings of the analysis were as follows: 1) The number of studies on the subjects of job satisfaction has increased enormously since the 1980s. 2) In research design, 73.8% of the studies involved correlation research. 3) Conceptual frameworks, research questions, and hypotheses were not involved in 88.8%, 76.3%, and 68.% of the studies respectively. 4) With respect to subjects, 53.7% involved head nurses, charge nurses, and staff nurses. 5) As sampling methodology, questionnaires were employed in all the studies. 6) Measurement instruments developed by Slavitts et al.(1978) and Stamps et al.(1978) were used in 27 studies and 24 studies, respectively. 7) For the statistical analysis, ANOVA(30.7%), t-test(23.7%), and correlation(23.7%) were used. 8) The number of job satisfaction-related variables were eight items and 36 sub-concepts. 37.5%(30 studies) employed applied variables related to organizational characteristics. 9) 93.7% of the studies made suggestions for further research. On the basis of the above findings, the following recommendations were made: 1) Qualitative research should be performed to identify variables related to job satisfaction. 2) Research on developing interventions is needed to elevate job satisfaction. 3) Development of measurement tools is needed to evaluate the job satisfaction of Korean nurses. 4) Correlation studies are needed to identify the relationship between job satisfaction of nurses and outcomes to patients.

  • The main purposes of this thesis are to examine the job satisfaction of dental technicians, to explore the factors which have impacts on the job satisfaction of the dental technicians, and finally to address some suggestions for dental technicians in order to improve their job satisfaction. This study is based on the survey data which were conducted among dental technicians engaged in the dental technical places in Daegu area from March 1, 2003, to March 31, 2003. Three hundreds and twenty questionnaires were distributed and 304 of them were collected. Among them 293 questionnaires were eventually used for the statistical analysis. Descriptive and regression analysis were introduced, and in which 12 independent variables and one dependent variable were included. The results of this study are as follows: Approximately 50 percent of the dental technicians in Daegu expressed that they were satisfied with their job, while about 20 percent of them were not satisfied with their job. According to the multiple regression analysis, work environment($\beta$,=0.216), human relationship($\beta$,=0.405), and self-esteem($\beta$,=0.156) have statistically significant positive effects on job satisfaction. On the other hand, conflicts caused in the process of carrying out their jobs have statistically a significant negative effect($\beta$,=-0.166) on job satisfaction. Among 12 independent variables, human relationship has the strongest effect($\beta$,=0.405) on job-satisfaction and 12 independent variables explains approximately 35 percent of variance in the job-satisfaction of dental technicians in Daegu. In conclusion, with regard to the improvement for the job-satisfaction of dental technicians, the association of dental technicians' active concern and long-term plans are necessary. Finally, some suggestions for the increase of the level of job satisfaction of dental technicians are introduced and discussed.
