  • Many researchers have been explored job satisfaction in various context. Nevertheless, there are no empirical researches on the advertising designers's job satisfaction in Korea. This research is an exploratory examination regarding Korean advertising designers's organizational behaviour. In general, job satisfaction is determined by two major factors; personal and organizational factor. This research shows that korean advertising designers's job satisfaction is mainly determined by the organizational factor such as payment and promotion. Promotion was particularly significant amongst them and recognition also proved to be influential. Synthetically, the determining factors of advertising designers's job satisfaction consists of several predictors such as payment, promotion, and human relationships. This result may gives an assumption that the agencies have not provided designers with specialized evaluation system reflecting designers' job characteristics. Thesis concludes that agencies need to set a new evaluation and payment systems in order to elevate designers' job satisfaction in organization.

For this purpose 3 types of research hypotheses were set up and the result of the verification of the hypotheses is summarized as follows: First, the verification of the relation between the knowledge conversion preference and the job effectiveness revealed that the workers who have the higher synthetic ability in knowledge conversion preference show the higher job satisfaction and job product. Secondly, the verification of the relation between the MPS representing the job character by measured index and the job satisfaction revealed that the absolute value of relative coefficient between the 4 factors excluding the public welfare factor and the MPS is 4, interpreted as medium correlation. Thirdly, the analysis on the degree of relation between the job product measured by the quality of job result and the input effort and the MPS showed that the absolute value of person relative coefficient is 5, interpreted not only as medium correlation but also very meaningful. Accordingly, the main purpose of this study was to give a guideline which can be utilized as an indicator for educating, training and placing the workers. As results, the main effect that the variable of knowledge conversion preference and job character chosen as the independent variable influences on the dependent variable of job satisfaction and job product is very meaningful except the public welfare factor.

A convenience sample was drawn from salespeople working for department stores in Daegu and Pohang between September $1^{st}$ to $7^{th}$ 2011. A total of 337 responses were complete and usable questionnaires. Data were tested through factor analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis, using SPSS 12.0. Three main points are shown through this study. First, the correlation of all five factors extracted from salespeople personality traits with customer orientation was statistically significant. Personality traits and customer orientation were partially correlated with job satisfaction or job performance. Second, the regression analysis was conducted to examine the influence of personality traits and customer orientation on job satisfaction; subsequently, only two factors extracted from customer orientation (consideration for customers and customer-centered thinking) were significant predictors of job satisfaction. Third, the result of the regression analysis between personality traits and job performance showed that the most influential predictor of job performance was conscientiousness, followed by likeability, openness and introversion. The most influential factor between customer orientation and job performance was competence in providing product information, followed by consideration for customers, customer-centered thinking, and a reliability-focused response.

These instruments were verified by Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ as a reliability and factor analysis as a validity. The data were analysed by Pearson's productive correlation, stepwise multiple regression and path analysis by the SPSS ver. 20.0 and AMOS ver. 20.0. The results were as follows: First, there were significant negative correlations between directors' emotional leadership and childcare teachers' intention to change jobs, and between childcare teachers' job satisfaction and their intention to change jobs, whereas there were significant positive correlations between directors' emotional leadership and childcare teachers' job satisfaction.
