A Study on the Data Mining Preprocessing Tool For Efficient Database Marketing (효율적인 데이터베이스 마케팅을 위한 데이터마이닝 전처리도구에 관한 연구)

  • This paper is to construction of the data mining preprocessing tool for efficient database marketing. We compare and evaluate the often used data mining tools based on the access method to local and remote databases, and on the exchange of information resources between different computers. The evaluated preprocessing of data mining tools are Answer Tree, Climentine, Enterprise Miner, Kensington, and Weka. We propose a design principle for an efficient system for data preprocessing for data mining on the distributed networks. This system is based on Java technology including EJB(Enterprise Java Beans) and XML(eXtensible Markup Language).

  • In this study, we propose a development environment for authoring quiz contents, which is based on the concept of "Gamification", which is the principle of Engagement and Reward. Future Services As a platform for authoring and composing technology, and also for educational contents authoring, I have reviewed key features and implications of HTML5 (CSS3.0, Java Script, etc.) along with key technologies. These features are key technologies for building a true smart learning environment. Based on this, a case of applying the gamification technique to enhance the educational effect was proposed through the quiz contents model.

  • XML Web Service is a new distributed computing paradigm for combining all computer systems through the on-line standardized open network, so it is expected that companies can get the results of increasing profits and reducing costs through this. Especially XML Web Service is essential in mobile environment. In this paper, a new XML Web Service is proposed and it is based on WIPI-based XML standard technology and mobile web service standard. The proposed XML Web Service embodied XML Parser which can be used in WIPI environment and made HTTP communication. In addition, as an example of the practical application, it was applied to an inventory Management, Book Store using JAVA language for WIPI.

  • As the complexity of software development is increasing due to networking, multimedia, and diverse system architecture, the need for effective software development methodology is increasing. Especially, due to software standard and internalization of software market, it is necessary to accept international quality such as ISO 9000-3. In addition, object oriented development methodology is required due to rapid propagation of OO technology and standardization. Recently, UML was accepted by the OMG as standard object-oriented modeling language for distributed environment. When we UML was accepted by the OMG as standard object-oriented modeling language for distributed environment. When we develop Java and CORBA-based software, often UML is applied to Java and CORBA-based projects. However, current structural or OMT-based object-oriented methodologies. In this paper, we proposed UML-based development and concrete guidelines for each phase in order to apply UML to software development practically and effectively. Also, we define the transition guidelines and semantics between various development tasks. In addition, the analysis and design techniques of user interface and system development techniques needed in Web application development are presented.

  • According to the development of the embedded system, a java technology which has a various platform has developed rapidly on the embedded device. CVM(Classic Virtual Machine) which is defined in the CDC(Connected Device Configuration) of the SUN mircosystems provides a java environment that is independent of a platform. Specially, embedded devices like a set-top box or a smart phone can be implemented by using FP(Foundation Profile) in CDC for a network faculty. In this paper, we design and implement native methods of FP which are network's API for implementation of CVM network on Real-Time Operating System iRTOS.

  • As an agent is applied into various fields, it is suggested as the paradigm of new application technology in the area of computer communication. However, the mobile agent brines the problem of security on an agent due to mobility. This study proposals the mobile agent protection protocol framework for more effective protection and safety. The designed Framework of protocol uses the public ky, the private key and the digital signature in PKI environment based on JAVA. This is the mechanism accomplishing safely the work of an agent by tracking the pattern of execution and the mobility plan through the VS(verification server). This also secures the suity and the flawlessness of an agent through the VS guaranteeing safety from malicious attacks.

  • Mobile agent technology has received great attention in the last years as a new paradigm for distributed processing systems. Mobile agents are autonomous objects that can migrate from node to node of a computer network. But, due to hosts or communication nodes failures, mobile agents may be blocked or crashes even if there are other nodes available that could continue processing. To cope with above, this paper proposes an efficient policy by introducing the path reordering and backward recovery to ensure the migration of mobile agents. The proposed migration policy will be provided the migration reliability of mobile agents as autonomously as possible, and it is implemented in the MOS, a mobile object system model developed by the Java language.

  • As Web based knowledge and technology is needed for librarians in the digital environments, it should be educated through the Department of Library and Information(DLI) courses. For importing the courses in DLI, we go through several preliminary stages. First, the role and duties of web masters in digital libraries are figured out. Second, it is known that the tendency of MLS courses in American universities is toward to adopt the web related subjects, but still not in Korea. Third, the survey finds out the recognition of web masters in Korean university libraries about the functions and abilities web masters. As the results, we suggest several subjects for the web master's training. They are HTML, XML, Window NT and Web Server Management, Javascript and Java, Networks, Mutimedia Programs, Programming, and LINUX.

  • Based on the rapid development of IT technology and deployment of the Internet through high speed networks, network environments have been changed from office oriented environment based on business industries and public institution even to the interconnection to digital electronics in the home network. Home network based applications are very diverse and the remote monitoring and control areas have been studied. In this paper, we present the design and implementation of real time remote video monitoring system which provide the moving pictures on the web page through the Internet using JMFI. In addition, we present the design of remote light control system based on Zigbee.
