ISO 15926 is an international standard for the representation of process plant lifecycle data. However, it is not easy to implement the part 2-data model and the part 4-initial reference data because of their complexity in terms of data structure and shortages of related development toolkits. To overcome this problem, ISO 15926-7(part 7) is under development. ISO 15926-7 specifies implementation methods for sharing and exchange of process plant lifecycle data, which is based on semantic web technologies such as OWL, Web Services, and SPARQL. For the application of ISO 15926-7, this paper discusses how to represent technical specifications of process plant equipment by defining user-defined reference data and object information model with an example of reactor coolant pumps located in the reactor coolant system of an APR 1400 nuclear power plant.

One of the activities to improve software quality in ISO 26262 is to apply the design principles for software unit design and implementation mentioned in ISO 26262-6, including the evaluation activity. Before evaluation activity, the tool is compared and selected for evaluation. Because the results of the tool a company selected might have an effect on product quality. In this paper, we suggest the method to compare industrial static analysis tools with some of "MISRA C : 2004 Exemplar Suite" and all lessons learned from comparing tools are described. The result on comparison shows that we just couldn't rely on a result of Static Analysis Tool and need to have another appropriate processes and guidelines to evaluate a software.

This study was aimed to evaluate the possibility of application to the KS A ISO 2859-1 Easy test, an international standards sampling inspection, to replace a sampling method of the current grading standard of chicken meats for the first time. As a result of screening capability to check for defective products, the current sampling was 0.61 and the KS A ISO 2859-1 Normal test was 0.70, suggesting that the latter inspection method was more accurate. If the KS A ISO 2859-1 conversion principle is applied, 40,530 won per day is saved for a 50-lot inspection. The current sampling and the KS A ISO 2859-1 Easy test did not exceed the reject limit for the number of defective products to satisfy the grade $1^+$ on chicken carcass size numbers 12, 9 and 8. Freshness was not significantly different between the current sampling and the KS A ISO 2859-1 Easy test. It is expected that using the KS A ISO 2859-1 Easy test with a smaller sample volume will have the same level of quality evaluation as the current sampling method while reducing costs.

Reaction-to-Fire's performances such as combustion properties of sandwich panels were tested according to ISO 13784-1 (room corner test for sandwich panel building systems) method which is made for the purpose of supplementing ISO 9705 room corner test, and analyzed comparatively. Several variables including heat release rate, smoke production rate, FIGRA, SMOGRA, thermal configuration, visual check lists and so on, were analyzed for specific four materials on sandwich panel systems. Finally, Reaction-to-Fire's performances of test results on each material by ISO 13784-1 are categorized by applying to the classification systems of both EN 13501-1 and Eurefic Research Program.

The purpose of this study is to analyze ISO/DIS 28560 and to cope with the current developments in library RFID technologies. The user data elements in part 1 and encoding rules in part 2 and part 3 of ISO/DIS 28560 are explored. In addition, a few corresponding cases regarding user data elements on ISO/DIS 28560 are investigated. Based on the corresponding cases, four user data elements are selected. They are , , , and . This study expects to allow fertile ground for discussion on the selection of user data elements in Korea.

This study was started from a critical mind for the construction records management in South Korea and examined the state of the construction records management system of the Korea Rail Network Authority which is constructing the biggest Express Railway Construction of National Project in Korea. The Methodology of this study is based on the functional requirement of the Records Management International Standard, ISO 15489, which standardized the record management process in the cases of Record Capture, Declaration, Classification, Storage, Access, Tracking and Disposition. In regard to the functional requirements from Capture to Disposition, each level(title) consists of 3 to 4 items, for a total of 22 principles in all. The estimation was created for each of the 22 categories using 4 levels: observance, partial observance, insufficiency and non observance. And pointing out the problem, suggesting the improvements for the Korea Rail Network Authority and structural improvements according to the KS X ISO 15489 principles.

This study suggests the use of standardized sewing terms for the construction of smart sewing systems. This study analyzed the use of stitches (ISO 4915) and seams (ISO 4916) for cut and sewn knit garment which are the basic elements of sewing on an ISO basis. The results of the analysis of sewing specifications of cut and sewn knit garments are as follows. First, the use of stitches and seams were analyzed. As a result, both stitches and seams were used as non-standard terms. Second, among 3,263 stitches, ISO 4915 No. 406 followed by 401, 504, 605 were the most frequently used; however, ISO 4915 No. 514 was anticipated the most because the ISO 4915 No. 514 used for joining was not recorded in the sewing specification. Finally, the use of stitch for each seam was analyzed. The most common stitch used for ISO 4916 No. 6.02.07 was ISO 4915 No. 406. In addition, when it was sewing ISO 4916 No. 4.04.01, ISO 4915 No. 504 was used in step 1, and ISO 4915 No. 406, 602, and 605 were used in step 2. It is important to use the international standard sewing terms for the production site based on the results. In addition, the construction of smart sewing systems and the work of international standardization through industry-university cooperation are important for securing global competitiveness. Therefore, the use of international standard terminology and practical training should be conducted with a focus on stitching and seams with high frequency of use.

The present study was designed to examine the effect of heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) induction by cobalt protoporphyrin (CoPP) on the cardiac functions and morphology, electrocardiogram (ECG) changes, myocardial antioxidants (superoxide dismutase [SOD] and glutathione [GSH]), and expression of heat shock protein (Hsp) 70 and connexin 43 (Cx-43) in myocardial muscles in isoproterenol (ISO) induced myocardial infarction (MI). Thirty two adult male Sprague Dawely rats were divided into 4 groups (each 8 rats): normal control (NC) group, ISO group: received ISO at dose of 150 mg/kg body weight intraperitoneally (i.p.) for 2 successive days; ISO + Trizma group: received (ISO) and Trizma (solvent of CoPP) at dose of 5 mg/kg i.p. injection 2 days before injection of ISO, with ISO at day 0 and at day 2 after ISO injections; and ISO + CoPP group: received ISO and CoPP at a dose of 5 mg/kg dissolved in Trizma i.p. injection as Trizma. We found that, administration of ISO caused significant increase in heart rate, corrected QT interval, ST segment, cardiac enzymes (lactate dehydrogenase, creatine kinase-muscle/brain), cardiac HO-1, Hsp70 with significant attenuation in myocardial GSH, SOD, and Cx-43. On the other hand, administration of CoPP caused significant improvement in ECG parameters, cardiac enzymes, cardiac morphology; antioxidants induced by ISO with significant increase in HO-1, Cx-43, and Hsp70 expression in myocardium. In conclusions, we concluded that induction of HO-1 by CoPP ameliorates ISO-induced myocardial injury, which might be due to up-regulation of Hsp70 and gap junction protein (Cx-43).
