보안 저장장치를 구비한 가상의 인비저블한 보안 디스크 (VIPDISK) 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Virtual and Invisible Private Disk (VIPDISK) having Secure Storage Device)

  • 본 논문에서는 정보유출을 막기 위하여 보안저장장치를 구비한 가상의 인비저블한 디스크(VIPDISK)기술을 제안한다. 제안 기술은 소프트웨어 기반의 보안 기술로서, 임의의 데이터 저장장치의 운영체제에서는 전혀 확인 할 수 없는 숨은 보안 영역을 설정하여 해당 영역에서 OS를 포함한 어떤 프로그램을 실행하더라도 보안영역의 존재여부를 전혀 알 수 없게 한다. 특히 비활성화상태에서는 타인에게 절대 노출되지 않는 보안 영역을 설정하여 고유의 디지털 키와 복호화 툴을 여는 사용자 암호에 의해서만 활성화되어 사용 가능하게 된다. 그리고 숨은 보안영역에 저장되는 모든 데이터는 실시간으로 암호화하여 저장되므로 만약 VIPDISK가 분실하거나 도난당해도 보안 영역에 저장된 데이터가 절대 유출되지 않도록 보호해준다. 실험을 통하여 VIPDISK는 기존 기법들에 비해 높은 보안성을 제공하는 것을 알 수 있었다.

진화론적 공간디자인에서의 혼성적 변이공간에 관한 연구 - 생물학적 진화론을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Hybrid Mutant Space of Evolutionary Space Design - Focus on the Biological Evolutionism -)

  • The relevance between organisms and their external environment covers everything including humans, natural and artificial surroundings, regarding which academic and scientific understanding has continued. Relevant elements established by inter-dependence between humans and environment and the unity of life should be translated from the perspective of a whole, not of unit elements or reduction. That is, a space is formed by its own program and assumes sustainable relevance based on interactions between internal and external spaces, not building an independent system. The present study aims to present the feasibility of a potential mutant space formed by invisible arenas between individuals and evolutionary space formation based on an ecological paradigm Accordingly, this study suggested that evolutionary attributes as the major power source of biological changes could verify the virtual multiplicity of a new space formation, and that the potential form generation of hybrid mutant space of emergence and infinite formative capability could be supported. The suggestions made here will hopefully contribute to extending applicability of evolutionary space generation in the field of space design. To derive the potential mutant forms from biological space, a preliminary study was conducted regarding the characteristics of evolutionary form generation. For the purpose of this study, three evolutionary perspectives of reproduction, mutation (variation) and selection were taken. First, the theory of evolution was defined and characterized. Also, the relevance between the characteristics generated and hybrid mutant space was analyzed to consider relevant characteristics. The present study helped to understand that the hybrid mutant space had an evolutionary space structure based on a biological paradigm. It was also found that the mutant space structure built by mutant polymorphism assumed a systematic correlation between space and environment.

직렬연결이 가능한 소형 바퀴 로봇 모듈의 개발 (Development of Series Connectable Wheeled Robot Module)

  • 인간의 접근이 어려운 재난 현장에 투입되는 재난 대응 로봇은 재난의 확산 방지 및 피해 최소화를 위해 현장탐색, 인명구조 등의 임무를 수행한다. 재난 현장에는 다양한 장애물이 산재한 험지, 통신 장애, 비가시적인 환경 등 복합적인 요인으로 인해 로봇 운용에 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 직렬연결이 가능한 바퀴 로봇 모듈을 개발하였다. 바퀴 로봇 모듈은 직접 구동이 가능한 로봇 모듈과 수동으로 구동되는 로봇 모듈 두 가지로 개발하였다. 두 개의 직접 구동이 가능한 로봇 모듈과 하나의 수동으로 구동되는 로봇 모듈을 직렬연결하여 하나의 바퀴 로봇을 구성하였다. 로봇 모듈은 1 자유도 회전 관절로 연결되어 바퀴 로봇은 수직 방향으로의 장애물 회피가 가능하다. 바퀴 로봇은 압력 센서만을 이용해 주행과 장애물 극복을 수행하도록 제어하여 비가시적 환경에서 운용할 수 있도록 하였다. 바퀴 로봇의 성능 평가를 위해 두 개의 직접 구동이 가능한 바퀴 로봇 모듈과 한 개의 수동으로 구동되는 바퀴 로봇 모듈을 연결하여 장애물 극복 실험을 수행하였다. 바퀴 로봇은 압력 센서만을 사용해 최대 높이 80 mm의 계단형 장애물을 24.5초의 시간 동안 성공적으로 극복하여 비가시적인 상황에서 주행 및 장애물 극복이 가능함을 확인하였다.

HCO+ Observations toward Compact Radio Continuum Sources Using the KVN 21-m Telescopes to Trace Dark Molecular Gas

  • It has been known that there is "dark gas" invisible either in 21-cm HI or 2.6-mm CO emission which are general tracers of atomic and molecular gas, respectively. Many researchers consider that the dark gas is "Dark Molecular Gas (DMG)" composed of CO-free $H_2$ in the intermediate zone between atomic and full-fledged molecular gas and that HCO+ and OH molecules are good tracers of the DMG since they can form in much lower $H_2$ column densities where CO does not. We have carried out HCO+ J=1-0 absorption observations toward nine bright extragalactic radio continuum sources using the KVN 21-m telescopes as single dishes. We detected HCO+ absorption lines toward two sources. We derive HCO+ and $H_2$ column densities or their limits, and discuss the implications of our results.

가시화 기반 N-body GPU 충돌 체크 방법 (Visibility based N-Body GPU Collision Detection)

  • 본 논문은 가시화 기반 LBVH(Linear Bounding Volume Hierarchy))을 이용한 빠른 GPU기반 N-body 충돌 체크 알고리즘을 제안한다. 본 알고리즘은 움직이는 n-body 개체에 대한 수정된 모튼코드(Morton code)를 이용하며, 이 모튼코드는, 일반적으로 사용되는 개체의 위치 정보뿐 아니라 이 개체가 스크린상에 차지하는 가시화 영역 정보를 이용하기 때문에, 카메라의 위치 및 방향에 따라 화면상에 차지하는 영역이 작은 개체에 대한 빠른 GPU기반 정렬(sorting)이 가능하게 된다. 실험을 통해, 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법이 기존 방법보다 15%이상 성능 향상이 있음을 알게 되었다

메타버스 캐릭터 속성과 퍼스널 스페이스 현황과 효과 분석 (Analysis of Metabus Character Properties and Personal Space Status and Effectiveness)

  • Personal space is an invisible space around people and plays an important role in human communication. Individual spaces are known to change according to gender and relationships in communication between people. This study examines whether such personal space exists between characters on a metabus. Gender participants took up short personal space, and female participants found that on the Metabus, they changed their personal space according to their intimacy or gender with other people's characters rather than their own. Male participants are thought to change their personal space according to their personality in case of reason in Metabus. From this, it is thought that the participant continues to have physicality, just as the meta-bus actually has a body. Female participants found that in Metabuses, as in the real world, gender between characters has a similar short personal space, rather than gender, and intimacy between characters. In the case of male participants, it was shown that the closeness between the characters was similar to that of the personal space, but the gender of other characters did not change the personal space. Future validation of personal space for metabus characters requires comparison of shapes of individual spaces and cultures, such as individual characteristics, such as introduction and extroversion of individual space, and experiments of gender. In this experiment, the number of female experiment participants is strongly required in future experiments, as compared with male experiment participants, and the need for various cultural experiments is also required.

RELATION BETWEEN VIRIAL ENERGY AND MAGNETIC ENERGY PROVIDED BY AN EMERGING FLUX TUBE ON THE SUN

  • The MHD virial theorem applied for observed photospheric field may be the one of way to estimate magnetic energy of generally invisible coronal magnetic structure. However, the photospheric field is not in a force-free state, so the application of virial theory needs some care. Here we use a series of MHD simulations of emerging field to investigate how we can apply the virial theorem to the emerging field. In early emerging phase, virial energy has a minus value although positive area at the photosphere is continuously generated toward a late emerging phase. We discuss why this tendency occurs. Then we derive the critical height where the actual emerging magnetic energy is almost comparable to the virial energy. If the difference between virial energy and magnetic energy becomes 10 percentage of the magnetic energy, we define this is the critical height, and assume the emerging field is close to force-free. We also discuss how the critical height changes with the initial twist of an emerging flux tube.

  • The habitual rooms and other structures related to everyday life are almost always grouped around the courtyard and together make up a house. There are many kinds of variety in types of courtyard houses depending on location, composition, allocation and relationship with inner space of the house. Every type of courtyard house accumulates many factors, which are social and economic circumstances, weather and geographical conditions. They are still well harmonized with life style and weather conditions in each area and basic unit of city organization. A courtyard can be shown as a place for everyday conversation like a community. Everyday space is the connective tissue that binds daily lives together, amorphous and so persuasive that it is difficult even to perceive. In spite of its ubiquity, everyday space is nearly invisible in the professional discourses of the city, like everyday life. Therefore Courtyards are special places that are outside yet almost inside, open to the sky, - a microcosm which gives relief to the inner rooms, gives the inhabitants a sense of ease and calm, and the feeling that they have their own piece of sky to use and protect them. This research will explore a variety of space use and dwelling types through courtyards based on field research and design projects.

현대 패션에 나타난 Fluid Form의 특성 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Fluid Form Expressed in the Modern Fashion)

  • In contemporary society, heterotopia is the law dominates thoughts and is the concept reconstituted spaces calls order in chaos. And that is the place which refuses the paradoxical and social custom and sometimes poses a danger and rise in rebel. The purpose of this study is to study how forms of clothing fluid form images are expressed in modern fashion develop body around in the spatial relationship between the body and its environment. The study method consider changed characterastics of fluid space through the heterotopia thinking system of Foucault Michel. Based on this method, the heterotopia space that appeared in the plastic arts in aspects of artistic significance and aesthetic value was examined. Based on the above discussion on modern fashion Fluid Form were expressed in any formative characteristics were considered. The results of this study are as follows. Fluidity is the transformed interaction. It expanded external representation of organic body structure and reconstructed flexible forms of dynamic structures continuously. Transformation is the new space structure. It constructed invisible transformation and developed convertible dress space by combining a variety of functional overlap and fold. Deconstruction was expressed structural forms, expanding the existing forms in the open structure which have ambiguous boundaries.

아동의 장소성 구축가능성으로 본 초등학교시설의 외부공간계획 분석: 사용자 점유이전의 공간계획을 중심으로 (An Analysis of Outdoor Space in Elementary School Design based on the Possibility of Forming a Sense of Place for Children: With Focus on the Spatial Planning before the Occupation)

  • The sense of place at school environment becomes more important as children increasingly spend more time in school and children's attachment to the environment affects the cognition development of children. The goal of this research is to identify characteristics that enhance the sense of place for children in outdoor space and check the possibilities of forming it in the school environments. Through the analysis of design document and design report for schematic design of elementary school which is executed through Korean Institute of Educational Facilities between 2002-2005, 47cases from 32elementary schools are analyzed. As a result it is found that designers tend to orient towards the visual aspects compared to other invisible aspects such as thermal comfort and participation of children, which is extracted as a key characteristics of forming a sense of place for children. More attention is required to enhance the sense of place in school environment to support the child development in everyday space.
