In this paper, The RF system of W-CDMA receiver is designed and the performance is analyzed. The linearity characteristic and the noise characteristic are presented in the performance. The linearity characteristic is analyzed by PN and IIP3. The noise characteristic is analyzed by NF. In addition, sweeping of the nonlinear components parameter affecting the linear performance is tested and the most maximal possible parameter to maintain the linear performance is introduced. The transceiver RF system of W-CDMA and cdma2000 is designed and presented adapting the nonlinear parameter introduced.

The growth of digital image an video archives is increasing the need for tools that efficiently search through large amount of visual dta. Retrieval of visual data is important issue in multimedia database. We are using contented-based visual data retrieval method for efficient retrieval of visual data. In this paper, we introduced fundamental techniques using characteristic values of image data and indexing techniques required for content-based visual retrieval. In addition we introduced content-based visual retrieval system for use of digital library.

Fuzzy linear regression model introduced by Tanaka et al. 91982) has been proposed and developed as alternative to statistical linear regression when our understanding of a phenomenon is imprecise or vague. In this paper we review fuzzy linear regression model and its parameter estimation and examine its strengths and weaknesses through case study. In addition another fuzzy linear model is introduced and applied to an economic study.

"Conflict of Interest(COI)" is defined as a situation where a person or an institution is involved in multiple interests, and an interest is against the others. COI in medical researches should well addressed and managed in order not to breach the integrity of the research. Numbers of methods have been introduced to manage the COI. In this article, the concept of COI and its application to medical researches is reviewed and the methods evading COI are introduced.

The author introduced 12 session short term dynamic psychotherapy for the intervention of stress related disorders. An examplary case was introduced to suggest the clinal usefulness of time limitted short term dynamic psychotherapy for stress related disorders. It was suggested that the term "stress" should be limitted to certain natural and man-made catastrophies and disasters whose consequences rep quire a total reorganization of the person. Common defensive manuvers and psychological responses in the stress disorders were also reviewed.

High rigidity of structure is required to obtain its accuracy and performance in a coordinates measuring machine(CMM). Modeling of bridge column of a CMM is introduced and the unit-load method by the principle of virtual work is suggested to analyze deflections of bridge column which is designed for high rigidity. Also design of porous air bearings of each moving axis is introduced to satisfy the loading conditions.

LSPIV(Large Scale Particle Image Velocimetry) is widely used in the field of civil and environmental engineering. General aspects of LSPIV are introduced and several applications are introduced in this paper. The difference of LSPIV from the conventional PIV techniques is not to use models for experiments but to use the flow fields in nature. For LSPIV a converting process for the captured images is necessary.

This paper reviews the general concept and application area of Supply Chain Management (SCM). Then, the general concept, function, modeling methodology, and operation methodology of Supply Chain Simulation are also reviewed. SCM software solutions and their modules developed by popular IT companies are introduced and compared. The role of simulation in SCM is emphasized as a strategic decision making solution for modeling and analyzing dynamics of a supply chain. Several stand-alone supply chain simulators are introduced and compared.

In this paper, the concept of maximal ideals relative to a filter on posets is introduced and examined. An intrinsic characterization of distributive lattices is obtained. In addition, we also give a characterization of pseudo primes in semicontinuous lattices and a characterization of semicontinuous lattices. Functions of semicontinuous lattices which are order preserving and semicontinuous are studied. A new concept of semiarithmetic lattices is introduced and examined.
