In this paper, we propose an architecture design of military operation system utilizing cellular networks. The main contribution of this paper is to provide a cost-effective military operation solution for ground forces, which is based on IT(information technology). By employing the cellular phones of officers' and non-commissioned officers' as the tools of operational communication, the proposed system can be constructed in the minimum duration and be built on the four components: command and control system, gateway, security system, and terminal(cell phone). This system is most effective for the warfare of limited area, but the effectiveness does not decrease under the total war covering the whole land of Korea. For the environmental change of near future, expanded architecture is also provided to utilize the functionalities of smart phones.

Ship owners are demanding quieter vessels since crews have become more sensitive to their acoustic environment. Accordingly, designers of shipyards need to respond intelligently to the challenging requirements of delivering a quiet vessel. In early design stage, to predict shipboard noise the statistical approach is preferred to other methods because of simplicity. However, since the noise characteristics of the ships vary continuously with the environments, it is necessary to update the prediction formula with data base management system. This paper describes the feature of database program with the prediction method. Database management programs with GUI, are applied to Intranet system that is accessible by any users. Statistical approach to the prediction of A-weighted noise level in ship cabins, based on multiple regression analysis, is conducted. The noise levels in ship cabins are mainly affected by the parameters of the deadweight, the type of ship, the relative location of engines and cabins, the type of deckhouse, etc. As a result of verification, the formulas ensure the accuracy of 3 ㏈ in 83 % of cabins.

Recently, many companies want to accept and operate ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) system in their fields ERP does not only include business, but also include finance, account, trade, personnel and BPR(Business Process Reengineering). Especially, it is necessary to have ERP system for companies which have lots of external businesses such as trade and communication sector. In modern society, the manufacture field faces on variable chances of Environment. For this situation, the application of Information technique is one of the main point maintain competitive power. The company should chose a proper method for their future and build Unified Information System on its suitable situation. Nowadays, Adjustment and application of technical method for Internet/Intranet and raised and more advanced Extranet gains its force at the moment. The Unification of ERP and POP system under the distributed environment like this will have a huge influence to us. In this subject, I will think about POP system for operating EPR system and improve its defects that can operate more effective sales, circulation, demand plan. Also, I suggest a proper POP system can handle seperated resources in each part of factory for a plan of shot period, order operating, factory inventory, process control.

The design and development of a Web-based Workflow Management System (WfMS) is described in this paper. WfMSs are employed by many organizations to manage their business processes efficiently. The goal of this research is to provide an effective management of design processes in a distributed and heterogeneous environment-an environment in which workflow participants are geographically dispersed and use different computing platforms. We identify the requirements of WfMSs for the distributed and heterogeneous environment. We present an approach to applying the Web technology to was. The developed system is composed of three main modules: Worflow Engine, Web-based clients, and Process Designer. The workflow engine is implemented in pure Java for portability to heterogeneous platforms. furthermore, the client interfaces are all programmed using applets, and thus they can be readily accessed through the Internet/intranet. The Process Designer provides a build-time function of generating process specifications. Some important functions of the developed system are explained in this paper. A prototype system has been developed and applied to design processes. The system allows effective cooperation among designers who may be geographically separated.

The encryption of a file on a PC before saving can maintain security of the file. However, if the key for the encrypted file is lost or damaged, the encrypted file can not be decrypted, resulting in serious economical loss to the user or the user group. In order to minimize the economical loss a secure and reliable key recovery technology is required. Presented in this paper is the development and evaluation of PKRS (PC based Key Recovery System) which supports encryption and decryption of file and recovery of the encrypted file in emergency. The encapsulating method, which attaches key recovery information to encrypted file, is applied to the PKRS. In addition, the PKRS is developed and evaluated according to the requirements of Requirements for Key Recovery Products proposed by NIST and requirements of Common Criteria 2.0 to prove the safety and reliability of the information security system. This system is applicable to a PC and can be further extended to internet or intranet environment information system where in encryption and recovery of file is possible.

As the networks (i.e., intranet and internet) proliferate all over the world, it is inevitable to move some (or all) of the enterprise activities into virtual spaces. Differently from business data, product data have complex semantics and thus are not properly exchanged among different application programs. Even though some neutral formats of product data have been developed by standard organizations, translating them among various application programs still needs the comprehensive understanding of the complex semantics. Recently, it is widely recognized that capturing more knowledge is the next step In overcome the current difficulties on sharing product data. In this paper, we present Web-based knowledge management that facilitates seamless sharing of product data among various application programs in virtual enterprises. Three types of knowledge are managed by the knowledge management system - metadata, ontology, and mapping. In this environment, we consider both business applications (e.g., ERP, SCM, and EDI System) and engineering applications (e.g., CAD and CAM system).

Nowadays, internet or web is popularized in society. So, intranet or inside computation environment of business has been changed a web based open system. Client and Server system that has been used core technique for enterprise information system several years is developing e-business system that perform a business in web based. Because, internet is extension of a whole field like business or information technology Therefore we understand a meaning of e-business and ERP system that a form of e-business system. Then we realize problem of existing system and study a technology for complement of system. Finally, we propose a proper model for e-business system and develop an example.

Axial fans are widely used in household electrical appliances due to their easy usage and high flow rate for cooling capacity. At the same time, the noise generated by these fans causes one of serious problems. In order to calculate the noise of a fan, we develop the software IFD - Intranet Fans Design. With this software we can design, analysis the performance and predict the noise of fan. The prediction model, which allowed the calculation of acoustic pressure at the blade passing frequency and it's higher harmonic frequencies, has been developed by Lowson's equation. To calculate the unsteady resultant force of the blade, time-marching free-wake method is used. J2ME service technology has advantage that can embody independent and, more soft system in DICOM 3.0 and medicine reflex administration server, client′s OS that is medical treatment reflex standard in radio Internet. 현재 진행되고 있는 전력산업의 구조개편, 전력시장의 경쟁도입은 전력계통에서는 물론 시장참여자들이 경쟁적 전력시장에 참여해 합리적으로 전력거래를 하기 위한 실시간의 정확한 Data를 절대적으로 필요로 하고 있다. 그러나 기존의 SOMAS(변전소운전실적관리 시스템 ; Substation Operating Results Management System)는 변전소 운전실적에 대한 Data를 월보단위로 수작업 입력하게 되어있어 입력된 Data의 정확도 확보가 곤란 하였으며 자료의 부정확으로 인한 이용에 어려움이 있었다. 이에 00년 12월 SCADA와 연계하여 5분정도의 주기로 전송되는 전국 각 변전소의 계통운영 실적을 실시간으로 받아 이를 가공한 후 Intranet을 통하여 제공함으로써 Data의 정확도가 향상되었으며 관련 업무에 활용이 가능하게 되었다.
