한국 노인의 건강증진행위에 대한 문헌분석 연구 (A Review of Research on Health Promoting Behaviors of Korean Older Adults)

  • This study was done to suggest directions for research and interventions of health promoting behaviors in Korean older adults in the future. Thirty seven articles for health promoting behaviors in Korean older adults were reviewed and analyzed. Findings are summarized as follows: 1) The total scores of the HPLP in Korean older adults were 2.30-2.44 out of 4 points. In the subscale, the highest degree of performance is nutrition, following interpersonal support, self actualization, stress management, health responsibility and the lowest degree of performance was exercise. 2) The total scores of the Health Behavior Assessment Tool of the Korean Elders were 2.87-3.2 out of 4 points. 3) Among the characteristics of older adults, monthly pocket money, previous job had consistently significant relationships with health promoting behaviors. Sex, job and presence of disease were consistently insignificant relationships with health promoting behaviors. 4) Perceived health status, self efficacy, self esteem, family support and social support had consistently significant correlations with health promoting behaviors. 5) In regression analysis, self efficacy, family support, depression, self esteem were the most powerful predictors of health promoting behavior in more than two articles. Predictors accounted for 14.2-65.2 % of the variance in health promoting behaviors of Korean older adults. On the basis of above findings, It is necessary to develop the interventions for more regular practice of the health promoting behaviors in Korean older adults. The interventions are recommended to focus increasing the exercise & health responsibility and to use the strategies to increase self esteem, self efficacy, social support including family support.

대학생의 D유형 성격과 건강증진행위 사이의 자기효능의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effect of Self-efficacy in the Relationship between Type D Personality and Health Promoting Behaviors of College Students)

  • Purpose: This study examined the relationships among type D personality, self-efficacy, health promoting behaviors and mediating effects, as well as type D personality and health promoting behaviors of college students. Methods: From 10 May to 24 May 2013, a convenience sample of 223 subjects was recruited from a college in G city. Data analysis consisted of Pearson's correlation coefficient, followed by regression analysis. Results: The prevalence of type D personality was 21.4%. Type D individuals showed lower self-efficacy and interpersonal relationships than non-type D individuals. Type D personality (NA*SI) had signigicant negative correlations with self-efficacy and HPLP-II. Self-efficacy fully mediated the relationship between type D personality(NA*SI) and HPLP-II. Conclusion: One reason why type D individuals have maladaptive health behaviors is low self-efficacy.

충동구매 소비자의 구매행위와 심리적 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Purchase Behavior and the Psychological Characteristics of the Impulse-Buying Consumers)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the tendency of impulse buying behavior and the consumer psychological characteristic factors which arouse impulse purchase and the difference in exploratory behavior according to the degree of impulse buying behaviors. For this purpose existing studies on impulse buying behaviors, consumer stimulation levels and exploratory behaviors were theoretically reviewed. And field survey was carried out for this study; 353 women impulse consumers were selected by convenience sampling method. The summarized main results of this study are as follows; 1) In relative perspectives, the consumers who has high degree of impulse buying behavior was favor of sensory buying behavior but, was lack of planned and rational buying behaviro. 2) The optimal stimulation level of high-impulse consumers is higher than that of low-impulse consumers. Especially, optimal stimulation level of impulse consumers is significantly higher than their life-style stimulation level. This means that impulse consumers are consider to a stimulation seeker. 3) The high-impulse consumers have high exploration through shopping, high information seeking behavior, high interpersonal communication level, high risk taking behavior and particulary high sensory exploratory patterns in purchase exploratory behaviors than that of low-impulse consumers.

영유아기 자녀의 자기 규제 행동에 대한 어머니의 요구양상 (Mother's Expectations Regarding Her Child's Self-Regulatory Behaviors)

  • This study investigated the expectations Of 186 Korean mothers regarding the self-regulatory behaviors of their l-to 5-year old child. A questionnaire for mothers was prepared which consists of nine categories identified in previous research : safety rules, personal property rules, interpersonal rules, food-related rules, independence requests, self-care rules, family routines, delay, manners, obedience rules, and academic skills and attitude. Data consisted of questionnaires completed by the mothers. Findings were that (1) mothers had high expectations regarding self-regulatory behaviors about safety and independence but low expectations regarding family routines and personal property self-regulation, (2) their expectations increased with age of child, (3) the pattern of expectations did not change with age, and (4) expectations were higher with lower educational background of the mother.

유아의 배려행동에 미치는 공감능력과 대인관계형성능력의 영향 (The Effect of Young children's Empathicability and Interpersonal competence in Forming relationships on Caring behavior)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 유아의 배려행동에 미치는 공감능력과 대인관계형성능력의 영향을 알아봄으로써 유아교육 현장에서 유아의 배려행동을 증진시키기 위한 방안을 탐색하는 것이다. 연구대상은 중소도시 I시의 4,5세 유아 152명이며, 검사도구는 배려행동, 공감능력, 대인관계형성능력의 질문지를 활용하였으며, 교사에 의해 측정되었다. 수집된 자료는 pearson의 적률상관관계를 분석하고 단계적 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 유아의 공감능력과 배려행동은 관계가 없는 것으로 나타났지만 배려행동 중 가치부여적행동과는 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났으며 특히, 가치부여적행동과 공간능력의 하위영역인 기쁨과 심적부담이 정적 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 유아의 배려행동과 대인관계형성능력 전체는 관계가 있었으며, 특히 사회적 반응성과의 관계가 가장 높게 나타났다. 하위영역에서는 규범적 행동과 사회적반응성, 능동적행동과 지시따르기, 가치부여적행동과 긍정적 상호작용, 정서적행동과 사회적반응성과 가장 높은 정적 관계가 있음을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 배려행동 중정서적행동에는 사회적반응성이 정적인 예측변인이며, 관계형성하기는 부적 예측변인으로 나타났다. 능동적 행동에는 지시따르기가 정적예측 변인이며, 심적부담은 부적 예측변인으로 나타났다. 규범적 행동은 사회적반응성이 정적인 예측변인, 관계형성하기와 심적부담 부적 예측변인인 것으로 나타났다. 가치부여적행동에는 긍정적 상호작용이 정적 예측변인인 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과로 볼 때 유아의 배려행동을 증진시키기 위한 프로그램을 개발하기 위해서는 사회적 반응성, 지시따르기, 긍정적 상호작용을 증진시키는 내용을 포함해야할 것이며, 유아의 관계형성능력과 불안의 요소를 줄이는 내용을 구성해야 할 것으로 판단된다.

부산시(釜山市) 청소년(責少年)의 반주행위(飯酒行爲)에 관한 연구(硏究) - 사회심리적(社會心理的) Model에 의한 분석(分析) - (Adolescent Drinking Behaviors in Pusan City : An Analysis on the Sociopsychological Model)

  • This study analyzed the socio-psychological process of adolescent drinking behaviors. A total 1,732 high school students in Pusan city were studied by the questionnaire from May to July, 1985. A structural model based on review of the literature was examined in order to test the following three hypotheses: (1) sociocultural and environmental impact on the adolescent belief system for drinking, on drinking situations, and on experiences of deviation, (2) relationships among adolescent belief system, drinking situations, and experiences of deviation, and (3) impact of antecedent variables on adolescent drinking levels. All hypotheses were supported by the data. The important outcomes were discussed as follows: 1. Because interpersonal factors were influential for the adolescent belief system concerning drinking, public drinking education through mass communication or drinking education in the curriculum were recommended. In addition to sex variables, friends' drinking and sibling's drinking were shown to have a positive impacts on drinking situations. Also, adolescent self-reported parents' views on drinking had significant effects. Because adolescent deviant experiences were generally affected by environmental factors, it is recommended that positive extra-curricular activities at both home and school should be investigated. 2. There were significant relationships among adolescent belief systems, drinking situations, and deviant experiences. However, adolescent drinking behaviors in supervised situations had weak correlations with their belif systems and deviant behaviors. 3. Adolescent drinking levels were remarkably influenced by drinking behaviors in unsupervised situations. Because it is difficult to control actual adolescent drinking behaviors in unsupervised situations, it is important to fortify their belief system with continuous education programs.

외모의 사회적 유용성이 여자 청소년의 신체만족도와 외모관리행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Social Instrumentality of Appearance on Body Satisfaction and Appearance Management Behaviors of Female Adolescents)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate female adolescents' attitude toward the social instrumentality of appearance and to examine the effects of the attitude toward the social instrumentality of appearance on female adolescents' body satisfaction and appearance management behaviors. The subjects for this study were 435 female middle school and high school students in Daejeon and Chungnam province. The research method was a survey and the measuring instruments were a self-administrated questionnaire with 4 parts (social instrumentality of appearance, body satisfaction, appearance management behaviors, and subjects' demographics attributions). The data were analyzed by Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, factor analysis, cluster analysis, ${\chi}^2$ test, t-test, using SPSS statistical program. The results were as follows. Three dimensions (the utility of interpersonal relationship, sexual partnership and social achievement) were emerged on social instrumentality of appearance, and female adolescents were divided into 2 groups(unreceptive group and receptive group) by social instrumentality of appearance. Social instrumentality of appearance had significant effects on female adolescents' body satisfaction and appearance management behaviors. The group who had receptive attitude toward the social instrumentality of appearance was showed the lower body satisfaction and more positive attitude to perform appearance management behaviors including clothing and accessories management, fitness, skin and hair care, and plastic surgery than unreceptive group.

Health promoting behaviors in low-income overweight and obese women in Korea: an exploratory qualitative study

  • Purpose: This study aimed to explore and understand the health promoting behaviors of low-income overweight and obese women in Korea. Methods: Data were collected from 10 low-income overweight and obese women working at a community self-sufficiency center through semi-structured in-depth interviews. Individual interviews were conducted and transcribed. Deductive content analysis was done, using the MAXQDA program. Results: The health promoting behaviors practiced by low-income overweight and obese women were affected by intrapersonal, interpersonal, and organizational/ community factors. Six categories were identified and two category clusters were derived that could best describe their health promoting experiences. As main category clusters, despite "feeling that the body and mind are not healthy" participants noted "difficulty maintaining a healthy lifestyle." Overall, the participants had poor nutritional status, lacked physical activity, experienced much stress in intrapersonal level, and faced intrapersonal-level barriers to health promoting behaviors. Moreover, participants had a lack of personal will, and lack of specific information to practice health promoting behaviors, a lack of time, and too many overall burdens to earn a living for their family while trying to maintain health promotion behaviors. Conclusion: Lifestyle interventions for nutrition management, encouragement of physical activity, and stress management are needed for overweight and obese low-income women. In addition, social support and policies are needed to improve their living environment.

The Effect of Health Promotion Behavior on Emotional Happiness

  • This study was designed to examine the affect health promotion behavior to emotional happiness for 20-30's in Korea through cross-sectional descriptive research. There were a total of 279 people who participated in this study, 198(71.0%) were males and 81(29.0%) were females. The data collection period was from December 1 to 15, 2018. The tools used to measure health promotion behaviors were HPB (Health Promotion Behavior) developed by Walker et al., and emotional happiness was PANAS (Positive and Negative Affect Scale) by Developed by Watson et al., All data was analyzed using SPSS 18.0 program. As a result of analysis, 62 (49.6%) were solving interpersonal problems and stress relief while drinking, and the people who ate twice a day were most frequent. In conclusion, health promotion behaviors have a strong correlation with emotional happiness. Based on the above results, it was suggested that the program of happiness for lining in the 20-30s age groups should strengthen the contents of health responsibility, guidance of substance abuse, formation of social relations and self actualization.

고3생의 인터넷 사용량에 따른 심리, 행동, 대인관계 특성의 차이 (Differences in High-School Students' Psychological, Behavioral, and Interpersonal Characteristics Depending on the Amount of Time Spent on the Internet)

  • This study investigated the purpose of internet usage among high-school seniors and how their psychological, behavioral, and interpersonal adjustment levels were affected by the amount of lime spent on the internet. The subjects were 572 high-school seniors who participated in the first panel of Korean Education Empolyment Panel (KEEP). The participants were divided into 2 groups: low use group using the internet for less than 30 minutes a day and high un group using the internet for more than 3 hours a day. The adjustment levels of these two groups were compared. The findings were as follows. First, the high use group used the internet to enjoy games, whereas the low use group used the internet to seek schoolwork-related information. Second, the high use group had more negative self-concepts and experienced more stress regarding economic hardship than the low use group. Finally, the high use group watched T.V. longer, studied less, and had more experiences of deviant behaviors, such as bullying, smoking, drinking, and sexual relations.
