표면 플라즈몬은 금속 표면에 존재하는 자유전자의 밀도파이며, 광자와 결합하여 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 근접장 주사 광학 현미경을 구성하고 이를 이용하여 표면에서 지수함수적으로 감소하는 표면 플라즈몬과 두 표면 플라즈몬에 의한 간섭무늬를 측정하였다. 표면 플라즈몬은 표면의 작은 광학적 분포에도 민감하게 변화하여, 광학 탐침이 금속 표면에 접근함에 따라서 표면 플라즈몬의 공명 조건에 영향을 준다. 이로 인해 광학 탐침이 금속 표면으로부터 약 250nm 떨어진 곳에서 광의 세기가 최대가 됨을 확인하였다.

연속적인 파형을 사용하는 레이다에서는 시스템의 수신감도 향상을 위해서는 부득이 분리된 송신 및 수신 안테나를 사용하여야 한다. 이러한 분리된 안테나의 경우에도 송신 단에서 전송되는 매우 강력한 신호파형의 전력은 미약한 수신신호에 심각한 간섭현상을 일으킬 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 안테나간의 격리 정도에 따라 다르게 나타나는 송신 누설전력에 의한 수신 신호에 대한 간섭이 시스템에 미치는 영향을 고찰하였다.

The electromagnetic intereference(EMI) shielding is very essential for commercial and military purposes. We fabricated multi-walled carbon nanoube(MWNT)/epoxy composites and studied the electromagnetic characteristics of the composites before we study the characteristics of MWNT-filled glass fiber-reinforced composites. After setting up the fabrication process, we measured the permittivities of MWNT/epoxy composites with process variables and MWNT concentrations in X-band(8.2GHz- 12.4GHz). Process variables changed the degree of dispersion, which influenced permittivities and permittivities increased rapidly from 0.5wt% to 1.0wt%.

The Flow patterns around two cylinders in various arrangements were studied by a discrete vortex method. The flow for the surface of each cylinder was represented by arranging bound vortices at adequate intervals. The viscous diffusion of fluid was represented by the random walk method. The vortex distributions, streaklines, timelines and velocity vectors around two cylinders were calculated for centre-to-centre pitch ratios of $P/D=1.5 and 2.5$, attack angles of ${\alpha}=0^{\circ},\;30^{\circ},\;60^{\circ}\;and\;90^{\circ}$, and Reynolds number of Re=1200. The results of simulation correspond to the photographs by flow visualization and the flow intereference between two cylinders in various arrangements was clearly visualized by a numerical simulation.

This paper describes an application of the partial discharge measuring method in operating transformer. In the operating transformer, the useful PD signal may be superimposed by radio intereference voltage and impulse shaped noise signals generated by external corona or power electronics. In this paper, initial investigations after connecting the PD measuring system to the terminals of the measuring impedance showed a very high noise level of 3,700pC due to sinusoidal interferences. In order to reject these noises, this paper applied RIV and band-pass filters and noise gating method. The resulting measuring sensitivity was improved from 3,700pC to 160pC.

최근 통신기술이 발달함에 따라 무선통신 주파수 대역폭은 더 넓어지게 되었고, 고집적 반도체 소자는 고속전철 시스템에 더 많이 적용되고 있다. 고속전철 시스템에서 사용되는 집적된 전력 반도체의 RFI (Radio Frequency Intereference, 라디오파 방해) 민감도 [또는 내성(耐性)]는 시스템의 안전에 많은 영향을 준다. 이 연구에서는 고속전철 시스템의 무선통신 주파수 대역에서 RFI 민감도 기준과 측정방법이 조사되었다.

우리나라의 지상파 TV 방송의 디지털 전환이 수도권을 시작으로 본격화 되었지만 2010년까지는 현재의 아날로그 NTSC 방송과 동시에 공존하게 된다. 따라서, 디지털 TV 채널과 동일한 채널에 아날로그 NTSC 방송이 존재하게 되며 이를 효과적으로 제거하기 위해서 DTV 수신기에서는 NTSC 간섭 제거 필터를 채택하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 NTSC 간섭제거 필터의 특성을 살펴보고 이 필터를 사용함으로서 발생하는 잡음 성능 저하를 수학적으로 분석한다.
