Postmenopausal women aged 50s generally experience gradual changes in body such as decline in antioxidant and estrogen levels as the body ages. To overcome these aging-associated changes, the needs for health functional foods are increasing. Dendropanax morbifera (DM) have antioxidant effects, anti-inflammatory against cancer cells, antidiabetic, and antiatherogenic effect which are associated with postmenopausal symptoms. We analyzed clinical effects of DM on aging-related symptoms by reporting their antioxidant, anticancer and inflammatory activity, etc. and their bioactivity. Data sources EMBASE, SCOPUS, PubMed, Web of Science, and Google Scholar databases were searched up to August 2016 for studies investigating medicinal plants in prevention and treatment of diabetes. The search terms were "Dendropanax morbifera". The reference lists of articles were also reviewed for additional relevant studies. Extracts of DM have various efficacy such as antioxidant, anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory activity and anti-thrombotic effect.

When turning to determining a subject position for the digital age, one may look beyond the invention of its technologies and instead begin with the development of its aesthetic of networked communities, nodal expression, and collaborative identity. Virginia Woolf's The Waves demonstrates this aesthetic in both form and content. In this paper, I will examine the role of collaboration in the form of interdisciplinary composition, arguing that Woolf's use of musical form and dramatic monologue and dialogue structurally secure an investment in collaborative models of expression. Digital texts taut their inherent multimodality, but such compositions are also evident in pre-digital texts. In addition, I will decipher the subject position Woolf puts forward in The Waves by looking closely at how the characters determine their own identity and existence when they are alone, when they interact with one individual, and when they congregate as a group. These are exemplified more specifically in the representations of Rhoda and Bernard as equally refusing to collaborate between a self-defined identity and a group defined identity; Bernard's channeling of Lord Byron while writing a love letter; and Woolf's use of the red carnation as a repeated image of the intertwined nature of the characters' collaborative identity and mutual dependence on one another.

The environment friendly lifestyle and the green product trend have motivated corporates to develop and adopt sustainable business practices. However, an increasing number of corporations have engaged in greenwashing practices to create the appearance of environmental responsibility. By employing the theory of reasoned action, the paper investigated a model linking corporate greenwashing and consumers' green purchase intentions with the mediating role of green trust and green word-of-mouth about green electronic devices in Vietnam. Using an online survey via Email, Zalo, and Wechat, data was obtained from 308 Vietnamese consumers who have been purchasing green electronic devices. Based on the responses of the participants from the questionnaires conducted, data analysis was conducted by using SEM in AMOS version 23. This investigation shows that corporate greenwashing negatively affects consumers' green trust, green word-of-mouth, and their green buying intentions. Additionally, the paper verifies that green trust and green word-of-mouth mediate the relationships between greenwashing and consumers' green purchase intentions. These results reinforce the extant understanding of greenwashing and its consequences. Finally, the study not only stimulates future research but serves as a reference for business managers, scholars, and students who are interested on the topic of environmental sustainability, new product development, and green brands.

Visual analytics is an emerging research field that combines the strength of electronic data processing and human intuition-based social background knowledge. This study demonstrates useful visual analytics with Tableau in conjunction with semantic network analysis using examples of sentiment flow and strategic communication strategies via Twitter in a blockchain domain. We comparatively investigated the sentiment flow over time and language usage patterns between companies with a good reputation and firms with a poor reputation. In addition, this study explored the relations between reputation and marketing communication strategies. We found that cryptocurrency firms more actively produced information when there was an increased public demand and increased transactions and when the coins' prices were high. Emotional language strategies on social media did not affect cryptocurrencies' reputations. The pattern in semantic representations of keywords was similar between companies with a good reputation and firms with a poor reputation. However, the reputable firms communicated on a wide range of topics and used more culturally focused strategies, and took more advantages of social media marketing by expanding their outreach to other social media networks. The visual big data analytics provides insights into business intelligence that helps informed policies.

Purpose: This study aims to examine the trends in healthcare architecture research by analyzing papers published in KIHA (Journal of the Korea Institute of Healthcare Architecture) and HERD (Health Environments Research and Design Journal) in the USA. The analysis categorizes these papers into Evidence-Based Design (EBD) and non-EBD research from a comparative perspective. Methods: A systematic literature review was conducted on 370 papers published in KIHA and 399 papers published in HERD from 2007 to 2022. The research trends were analyzed based on the researchers' fields of study, research focus, and research attributes. Results: The findings indicate that HERD involves researchers from 43 different fields, whereas KIHA involves researchers from 16 fields, indicating less diversity. HERD predominantly includes interdisciplinary and empirical studies, while KIHA primarily features theoretical and single-discipline studies. Papers in HERD generally demonstrate a higher level of evidence compared to those in KIHA. Implications: Direct comparisons should be approached with caution due to the differing contexts of healthcare architecture research in the two countries. The methodological efforts in HERD and the functional analysis results in KIHA provide valuable references for the future direction of healthcare architecture research. Expanding collaborative and interdisciplinary research involving various professionals is essential to advance the field.

Objectives: The purpose of our study is to know Temperament & Character of each Eight Constitutions (Hepatonia, Cholecystonia, Pancreotonia, Gastrotonia, Pulmotonia, Colonotonia, Renotonia, Vesicotonia) classified by the short form Eight-constitution medicine questionnaire (ECM-32) test. Methods: We analyzed the result of ECM-32 test and Temperament and Character Inventory (TCI) submitted by 32 patients who had visited the ${\triangle}{\triangle}$ oriental medicine clinic in Nowon-gu, Seoul between September and October at 2011. Results: -The participants were classified as one of Eight Constitutions (3 Hepatonia(9.4%), 7 Cholecystonia, (21.9%), 3 Pancreotonia(9.4%), 0 Gastrotonia(0%), 5 Pulmotonia(15.6%), 4 Colonotonia(12.5%), 6 Renotonia(18.8%), 4 Vesicotonia(12.5%)) by ECM-32. -The seven dimensions of TCI were compared between the different Eight Constitutions using Kruskal-Wallis test. There were significant differences between Hepatonia and Pulmotonia, Hepatonia and Colonotonia, Cholecystonia and Pulmotonia, Pulmotonia and Renotonia, Pulmotonia and Vesicotonia in the Reward Dependence of Temperament dimensions. -The Subsclaes of TCI were compared between the different Eight Constitutions using Kruskal-Wallis test. There were significant differences between Cholecystonia and Pulmotonia, Pulmotonia and Renotonia, Pulmotonia and Vesicotonia in the RD3. There were significant differences between Hepatonia and Cholecystonia, Hepatonia and Pancreotonia, Hepatonia and Pulmotonia, Hepatonia and Renotonia in the RD4. Conclusions: There is not a significant interrelationship between Feature of each Eight Constitutions and Temperament & Character in TCI. This study is meaningful because it is the first study to verify Temperament and Character of Eight Constitutions. Further studies with increased case and improved questionnaire are needed to supplement this research.

In sleep monitoring system, polysomnography (PSG) is the gold-standard but previous studies revealed that attaching numerous amount of sensors disturb sleep during the test which is the fundamental disadvantage of PSG. We suggest an unconstrained rapid-eye-movement (REM) sleep monitoring method measured with polyvinylidene (PVDF) film-based sensor for the normal and the obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) patients. Nine normal subjects and seventeen OSA patients have participated in the study. During REM sleep, rate and variability of respiration are known to be greater than in other sleep stages. Based on this phenomena, respiratory signals of participants were unconstrainedly measured using the PVDF-based sensor with the PSG and REM sleep were extracted from the average rate and variability of respiration. In epoch-by-epoch REM sleep detection, proposed method classified REM sleep with an average sensitivity of 72.3%, specificity of 92.5%, accuracy of 88.9%, and kappa statistic of 0.60 compared to the results of PSG. Student's t-test showed no significant difference between the results of normal and OSA group. This method is potentially applicable to REM sleep detection in homing environment or ambulatory monitoring.

With the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, there is an increasing demand for interdisciplinary studies in the realm of university education. Accordingly, this study sought to explore learners' perceived expectation factors for a modular curriculum, one of the primary strategies for curriculum revision in interdisciplinary departments, by applying the Expectation Theory. Learners' perceptions were measured pre and post during the second semester of 2022. The results confirmed that among the expectation factors, the selection factor significantly decreased after the course compared to before. Changes in the understanding and perceived difficulty level of tool utilization within the course may have influenced these results. The significance of this study lies in providing direction for curriculum revisions in interdisciplinary departments by analyzing learners' perceptions of the modular curriculum. Specifically, curriculum design should focus on reducing difficulties and cognitive burdens associated with educational tool utilization. Furthermore, considering that students' prior experience and understanding of educational tools can impact educational outcomes, it is crucial to factor these elements when designing a modular curriculum.

Insulin/insulin-like growth factor (IGF)-1 signaling (IIS) pathway regulates aging in many organisms, ranging from simple invertebrates to mammals, including humans. Many seminal discoveries regarding the roles of IIS in aging and longevity have been made by using the roundworm Caenorhabditis elegans and the fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster. In this review, we describe the mechanisms by which various IIS components regulate aging in C. elegans and D. melanogaster. We also cover systemic and tissue-specific effects of the IIS components on the regulation of lifespan. We further discuss IIS-mediated physiological processes other than aging and their effects on human disease models focusing on C. elegans studies. As both C. elegans and D. melanogaster have been essential for key findings regarding the effects of IIS on organismal aging in general, these invertebrate models will continue to serve as workhorses to help our understanding of mammalian aging.

한국어는 교착어적 특성으로 인하여 어미와 조사가 매우 발달되어 있다. 그러므로 영어와 같은 굴절어를 중심으로 설계된 UD를 한국어에 적용하는 것에는 많은 어려움이 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해서 형태통사적 특성이 유사한 일본의 UD 적용 사례를 살펴보고 한국어의 UD 적용 양상과의 비교 분석을 통해서 한국어의 UD 적용 및 개선 방안을 고찰해 보고자 한다. 한국어와 일본어는 동일한 교착어로서 비슷한 특성을 지니고 있으나, 주석의 기본 단위 설정에서 차이를 보이면서 UD를 적용하는 양상이 달라졌음을 확인하였다. 일본어의 UD 주석에서 형태 분석 기본 단위인 단단위(Short unit word, 長單位)를 기본 구문 주석 단위로 하되 장단위(Long unit word, 短單位)와 문절 정보를 이용하는 것처럼, 한국어에서도 형태 분석 단위를 기준으로 의존 관계를 주석하는 방안에 대해서도 고려할 필요가 있다.
