  • 최근 들어 일반인들도 다중 콥터와 4k 고성능 카메라를 장착한 상용 드론을 구매하여 자신의 취미 활동용으로 사용하고 있다. 드론을 이용한 많은 동호회가 생겨나고 1인 1드론, 개인용 드론의 시대가 시작되고 있다. 또한 사물인터넷의 시대에 걸맞게 아두이노, 라즈베리파이와 같은 오픈하드웨어 플랫폼과 오픈 소스를 이용하고 저가형 3D printer 의 보급으로 자신만의 독특한 형태를 지니는 기체 제작을 시작하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 3D 캐드를 이용한 위상최적화 기법을 적용하여 기존 상용 기체의 강성은 그대로 유지하되 기체 프레임 무게를 절반으로 줄인다. 또한, 풍동실험을 진행해서 기존 기체에서 발생하는 유체흐름을 분석하고 새로운 기체를 적용했을 경우에도 유사한 유체흐름이 나타나도록 설계하여 3D 프린터를 사용하여 제작하였다.

Landing Stability Simulation of a 1/6 Lunar Module with Aluminum Honeycomb Dampers

  • The Korea Aerospace Research Institute plans to launch a lunar module by 2025, and so is carrying out a preliminary study. Landing stability on the lunar surface is a key design factor of a lunar module. In this paper, a 1/6 scale model of a lunar module is investigated, for its landing stability on non-level surfaces. The lunar module has four tripod legs, with aluminum honeycomb shock absorbers in each leg strut. ADAMS$^{TM}$, the most widely used multi-body dynamics and motion analysis software, is used to simulate the module's lunar landing. Three types of dampers in the struts (rigid, viscous, and aluminum honeycomb dampers), and two types of lunar surfaces (rigid and elastic) are considered. The Sforce function is adopted, to model the aluminum honeycomb dampers. Details on the modeling and analysis of the landing stability of the 1/6 scale lunar module and the simulation results are provided in this paper.

  • This paper focuses on how an integrated or systemic approach is needed to both investigate and connect different kinds of interdisciplinary inquiry and knowledge within and beyond universities to encourage more productive collaboration with the other three ‘macro stakeholders’ - government, business, and the wider community. In this way universities can and should provide a greater leadership role in sustainability, innovation and policy studies. Such a framework is needed to also help to change the view of many that academics should just play a supporting role of providing specialised technical expertise only to the other macro stakeholders. The interdisciplinary and collaborative framework developed here is applied to the on-going water crisis in Malaysia - an exemplary complex problem-solving basis for seeking sustainable policy solutions to diverse challenges. As further discussed, this was applied also in practice to a multi-stakeholder seminar on addressing the difficult policy challenges of the Malaysian water industry and sector.

Particle Image Velocimetry Measurement of Unsteady Turbulent Flow around Regularly Arranged High-Rise Building Models

  • Recent studies proved turbulent flow properties in high-rise building models differ from those in low-rise building models by comparing turbulent statistics. Although it is important to understand the flow characteristics within and above high-rise building models in the study of urban environment, it is still unknown and under investigation. For this reason, we performed wind tunnel experiment using Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) to investigate and identify the turbulent flow properties and characteristic flow patterns in high-rise building models. In particular, we focus on instantaneous flow field near the canopy and extracted flow field when homogeneous flow field were observed. As a result, six characteristic flow patterns were identified and the relationship between these flow patterns and turbulent organized structure were shown.

  • There are tries to unite through consilience in many fields. Interdisciplinary research is an instance of those. Linguistic studies called linguistic informatics or quantitative linguistics is a field of interdisciplinary research related with statistics linguists have studied chiefly statistics and linguistics. In the statistical aspect, there is need to supplement somewhat of the result of researches by linguists. This study shows statistical method can supplement insufficient objectivity in linguistic studies, and examines the way to raise a degree of completion of interdisciplinary research on statistics and linguistics. This study also shows an introduction and application of the statistical method can be useful for the deduction of objective linguistic information in linguistic studies.

  • Background and Purpose: The Han(cold)-Yol(heat) patternization is one of the most usually used diagnostic methods in oriental medicine. This is studies for compensating questionnaries for Han-Yol that were made by Sook-Kyeng Kim. Methods: Questionnaries for Yol should be useful for clinical examination. So symptoms being chosen for questionnaries are based on Donguibogam that is clifnical textbook and 46 items are developed. By delphi panel and statistical analysis Items of questionnaries are choosen. Resultset: By delphi panel and statistical analysis 8 Items of questionnaries are choosen. Conclusion: Further research is necessary for improvement reliabilities and validities of the questionnaires for Yol pattemization.

Analyzing Research Trends in Forest Watersheds Using the Vosviewer Program (VOSviewer 프로그램을 이용한 산림유역 관련 연구동향 분석)

  • In this study, we collected and analyzed domestic and international studies related to watersheds in the forest sector. Keyword co-occurrence analysis was conducted using the VOSviewer program to identify the research areas of domestic and international studies and the network structure to compare research trends. As a result, the number of research articles in international watershed-related studies showed an overall increasing trend, and the research areas were diverse and located close to each other, indicating that many convergence studies were conducted. On the other hand, the number of papers in domestic watershed-related studies seems to have stagnated overall from the past to the present, and the research areas are mainly focused on forest disasters and hydrology, with limited interdisciplinary convergence studies. In addition, in both domestic and international studies, watersheds are currently mentioned as research sites rather than management or analysis units in the forest sector. It is important to actively promote interdisciplinary research in Korea to provide a scientific and balanced basis for watershed-level forest management planning.

Culture, Memory, and Literature: In Search of an Interdisciplinary Relationship Between Cultural and Literary Studies (문화, 회상 그리고 문학: 문화학과 문예학의 학제적 연관성에 관한 모색″)

  • In the past few years, a trend has emerged emphasizing the interdisciplinary relationship between cultural and literary studies, and "memory" has been suggested as the central theme in this trend. According to Aleida and Jan Assmann, "memory" as collective memory (not individual recollection) has various functions and forms, of which communicative memory and cultural memory occupy opposite poles of a central axis. Whereas communicative memory relates to the living past shared among contemporaries, cultural memory relates to "recollected history" rather than factual history. Cultural memory finds transmission through symbolic media such as myths, festivities, and literary works. Literary works preserve critical and living memories as opposed to forgotten memories. In other words, literature should be better read as "criticism and memory" than "imitation and preservation." Works of literature are characterized by a turning away from repetition toward representation-the process of "making present" of what is past.
