In this paper, our concern is the artificial neural network-based patten classification, when can resolve the difficulties in the Autoregressive Moving Average(ARMA) model identification problem To effectively classify a time series into an approriate ARMA model, we adopt the Multi-layered Backpropagation Network (MLBPN) as a pattern classifier, and Extended Sample Autocorrelation Function (ESACF) as a feature extractor. To improve the classification power of MLBPN's we suggest an integrated neural network system which consists of an AR Network and many small-sized MA Networks. The output of AR Network which will gives the MA order. A step-by-step training strategy is also suggested so that the learned MLBPN's can effectively ESACF patterns contaminated by the high level of noises. The experiment with the artificially generated test data and real world data showed the promising results. Our approach, combined with a statistical parameter estimation method, will provide a way to the automation of ARMA modeling.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze how strategically the bilaterally monopolistic firms, only-one-seller and only-one-buyer, behave in a situation in which each firm has uncertain information on its opponent firm's cost. Even though the two firms know that seeking integrated profit leads to the optimized profit for both firms, each firm has an incentive to opportunistically behave to increase its share of the integrated profit. These opportunistic behaviors of the firms are analyzed through a game theoretic approach especially finding Nash equilibrium mixed strategies for the strategic profiles such as true-report or not and monitoring or not. The comparative statics to the Nash equilibrium mixed strategies shows that as the profit share increases the probability of monitoring an opponent firm is decreased while the probability increases as the size of the overstated production cost increases. This study also shows that high penalty and low monitoring cost lead to high probability to tell the truth of the production cost.

The agricultural industry is beset by continuing demands to decrease the use of pest control agents which employ toxic modes of action. Although there are real problems of pesticide resistance, and sometimes overuse or redistribution in the environment, much criticism results from a lack of appreciation of how small is the risk involved. Whatever the background reasons, research and development for pesticide alternatives, particularly within Integrated Pest Management systems, is clearly of high priority. Currently available approaches, including use of natural products and molecular biology, are often regarded with naive optimism and require critical appraisal. For the future, methods of pest control based on chemicals with non-toxic modes of action (e.g. pheromones) continue to offer promise but, for widespread use, will require their integration with biological agents and development by means of plant molecular biology.

1990년대에 들어서야 개인 컴퓨터 시장에 적극적으로 참여하기 시작한 삼성전자는 반도체, CRT 등의 관련 기술에 대한 노하우와 가전 시장에서의 마케팅 경험을 토대로 1994년 시장 선두업체인 삼보컴퓨터를 제치고 시장 점유율 1위로 올라섰다. 1997년의 외환위기로 인하여 수요가 극도로 위축되고 동시에 환율 급등으로 인한 원가 상승요인 등으로 인하여 개인 컴퓨터시장은 매우 어려운 상황을 맞게 되었다. 이러한 상황하에서 삼보 등 업계의 주요 경쟁업체들은 "체인지업" 과 같은 저마다의 독특한 제품 및 마케팅 전략을 수립하면서 시장확보에 노력을 기울여왔다. 본 사례에서는 매직스테이션이라는 브랜드를 이용하여 개인 컴퓨터 시장에서의 선두 위치를 고수하려는 삼성전자의 전략을 살펴본다. 특히 각 세분시장의 특성을 토대로 제품, 가격, 유통, 광고 및 판매촉진 등의 마케팅 믹스 요소들 간의 시너지를 극대화하려는 삼성전자의 통합 마케팅 커뮤니케이션(Integrated Marketing Communication; IMC) 전략을 분석하고 향후 이 시장에서의 전략적 과제를 제시한다.

For a long time, a number of alarm processing techniques have been researched to reduce the number of actuated alarms for operators to deal with effectively during the abnormal as well as the normal conditions. However, the strategy that the only systems with a few clear technologies should be used as a part of an alarm annunciation system has been adopted considering the effectiveness and the reliability in actual alarm processing systems. Therefore, alarm processing systems have difficult knowledge-base maintenance problems and limited expansion or enhancement defects. To solve these shortcomings, the integrated knowledge-base which can express the general information related to all the alarm processing techniques is proposed and its management tool, Knowledge Input Tool for Alarm (KIT-A) which can handle the data of the knowledge-base efficiently is developed. Since the integrated knowledge-base with KIT-A can manipulate all the alarm information without the modification of alarm processing system itself, it is expected to considerably advance the overall capability of maintenance and enhancement of the alarm processing systems.

Integrated CI (country identity, community identity) planning is necessary for establishing identity and a distinct image as well as for managing green tourism villages. In addition, CI planning will be helpful for improving and advertising a village's image, capitalizing on its specialties and attracting many visitors to the village. Therefore, this study mainly intended to plan and design integrated CI for a green tourism village. For this purpose, this study selected Hari village in Hongsung-Kun, Chungnam province, which the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry designated as a green tourism village in 2003. Twenty CI alternatives were developed, and a vote was conducted with 143 visitors and rural residents attending a village festival in 2004. This study resulted in a new brand-name, 'Hanuri,' and developed symbols, logotypes, distinctive colors, signature system as a basic system and name cards, packaging materials, and signs for use. Above all, this study led the residents to pursue a village identity, village image and community spirit, which can be an effective management strategy to create a distinct image in a green tourism village.

The purpose of this study was to develop Dementia-Care-Robot integrated program based on group customization and to identify effects on IADL, depression, and attitudes toward robot. This study was nonequivalent control group pre-post test design. The subjects were 40 elders diagnosed with mild dementia participating in the dementia center daily program (20 in the experimental group and 20 in the control group). Each session lasted for 30 minutes, twice a week during 6 weeks. Data were collected from July 16 to November 7, 2019, and were analyzed using SPSS WIN 22.0 program to identify differences between groups for variables. After the program, the experimental group improved in IADL, depression, but there were no significant differences between the two groups. In attitude toward robot, the experimental group showed positive change to the robot, but the control group showed negative change to it, also there was a significant difference between the two groups. Findings indicate that integrated program using Dementia-Care-Robot has potential as a strategy to improve the symptoms of dementia and to delay the progression. It needs to be applied in the medical field through convergent approach of engineering.

기후변화는 생태계, 수자원, 재난, 보건 등 다양한 분야에 다양한 형태로 영향을 미치고 있다. 따라서 기후변화에 대응하기 위해서는 그 영향을 부문별로 평가하여 적절한 적응전략을 마련하는 것이 필요하다. 그러나 부문별 평가지표도 다르고, 자료의 형태와 내용도 달라 통일된 형태의 영향평가 및 적응전략이 어려운 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 부문별 기후변화영향평가지표를 마련하고, 이 평가지표를 설명하는 각종 주제도를 GIS기반의 시 공간정보로 통합하였다. 이와 같이 통합된 시 공간정보를 부문별 취약성평가 방법에 적용하여 부문별 취약성을 통합한 후 평가할 수는 방법을 제시하였다.

Multi-User Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MU-MIMO) technology has recently attracted significant attention from academia and industry because of it is increasingly important role in improving networks' capacity and data rate. Moreover, MU-MIMO systems for the Fifth Generation (5G) have already been researched. High Quality of Service (QoS) and efficient operations at the Medium Access Control (MAC) layer have become key requirements. In this paper, we propose a downlink MU-MIMO MAC protocol based on adaptive Channel State Information (CSI) feedback (called MMM-A) for Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs). A modified CSMA/CA mechanism using new frame formats is adopted in the proposed protocol. Specifically, the CSI is exchanged between stations (STAs) in an adaptive way, and a packet selection strategy which can guarantee a fairer QoS for scenarios with differentiated traffic is also included in the MMM-A protocol. We then derive the expressions of the throughput and access delay, and analyze the performance of the protocol. It is easy to find that the MMM-A protocol outperforms the commonly used protocols in terms of the saturated throughput and access delay through simulation and analysis results.

최근 5년간, 해양 분야에서는 IT의 접목을 통한 안전운항이 큰 이슈가 되어왔다. 국제해사기구 NAV 위원회에서 정의하는 e-Navigation 전략이 수립되면, 기존 선내 다양한 정보는 필요와 목적에 따라 통합되어 사용되며, 그에 따른, 사용성 평가에 대한 논의가 시작되고 있다. 선박 정보 모니터링은 통합된 디스플레이를 사용하게 되며, 이를 위해서는, 표준에서 요구하는 사용성을 고려해야 한다. 이를 위하여, 본 논문에서는 선박 통합 모니터링을 위한 사용자 인터페이스 설계 가이드라인을 제시한다. 개념 및 요구 사항 분석 그리고 기존 제품의 분석을 바탕으로 선박 통합 모니터링을 위한 사용자 인터페이스 설계의 가이드라인을 제시한다.
