  • Both the national land plan and the environmental plan reflect the need for sustainable land use and management. However, the linkage between the plans is reduced due to the lack of integrated management. Therefore, this study developed indicators to achieve integrated management. A total of 59 environmental plans were reviewed for the development of indicators, and a total of 74 integrated management indicators were derived through a three-stage process. In this process, the relevance of the integrated management indicators of this study to the UN 's sustainable development goals (SDGs) is presented in order to derive indicators that meet the level of international consultation. In order to facilitate the utilization of the indicators, the final indicators are divided into seven areas: natural ecology, water resource and quality, urban and green space, atmospheric, energy, landscape, resource circulation and waste. Furthermore, the indicators were classified into national, regional, and city level. Accordingly, the final indicator can be adapted to the field of influence of the planned to be established, and the indicator can be selected and applied to the level of the plan. The final indicators can be used to examine the extent to which the national plan reflects the contents of the environmental plan and can be used as an aid to confirm the contents to be included in the plan when establishing a new national plan.

  • The manufacturing environment on which this research is focused is an FMS in which AGVs are used for material handling and each part type has one or more process plans. The research aims at developing a methodology whereby, given a part and volume mix for production during any production session, the best set of process plans including one plan per part type is selected and the best unidirectional AGV guidepath can be dynamically reconfigured in response to changes in parts and lot sizes combination. For the integrated PPS/FGD problem in which two functions of process plan selection (PPS) and flexible AGV guidepath design (FGD) are integrated, a zero-one integer programming model is developed. The integrated problem is decomposed into two subproblems, process plan selection given a directed AGV layout and AGV guidepath design with a fixed process plan per part type. A heuristic algorithm that alternately and iteratively solves these two subproblems is developed. The effectiveness of the heuristic algorithm is tested by solving various randomly generated sample problems and comparing the heuristic solutions with those obtained by an exact procedure. From the test results, the following conclusions are drawn: 1) For a reasonable size problem, the heuristic is very effective. 2) By integrating the two functions of PPS and FGD, a remarkable benefit in total production time for a given part and volume mix is gained.

  • Interest in creativity and fusion in education has led to a lot of research on integrated education. Most of those research were related to integrated education model and educational contents development, so there were insufficient research on planning a course for integrated education. In this study, we developed an integrated education framework as an guidance for teachers on how to plan a course for integrated education. With this, we analyzed successful cases of integrated education. In the result of analysis, we figured out the relations and characteristics between three course types of subjects and four participation types of teachers. On the findings, we suggested an integrated education framework composed of four stages focused on course plan and proposed some considerations for each stage.

  • Today's competitive global market makes most enterprise endeavor to specialize their business areas, and co-operate with trading partners in supply chain by the forms of collaboration, information and business process sharing. However, even the supply chain plan generated by co-operation often fails to be executed successfully, because it was generated without capacities of suppliers and more over nested suppliers. To overcome this limitation, the supply chain plan of an enterprise should be generated truly integrated way. In this paper, we classify business patterns based on scenarios about quotation processing and supply chain planning in self-integrated environment. And we present business process models about four business patterns and describe them, which are classified by whether request for quotation includes information about price, required time periods, and quantity for each required time period and whether it is received from customer or sent to supplier. In addition, we describe the types of supply chain planning problem.

  • National defense research and development is trying to develop the weapon system to satisfy users' requirements at minimum cost, high quality and the shortest period. Under integrated database computer environments, development processes and tools have been developed to implement system engineering and concurrent engineering systematically. In the aerospace defense weapon system, the fixed wing development department has developed and operated the integrated operation and management information system based on web technology to manage efficiently the technical information generated by the R&D process. When this system was applied to the existing R&D project for the aircraft weapon system, it proved and verified its efficiency. In this paper, we describe the future development plan of an integrated R&D framework and an integrated weapon system database based on the integrated operation and management information system which are able to centrol the technical information of KF-X, UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) and UCAV(Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicles) programs. We also describe an interoperability and integration plan with WISEMAN which will be operated soon in our research Institute.

  • Current, integrated schools are small schools in rural areas and old towns with declining population, or special purpose middle and high schools. And new residential districts in urban areas including Seoul have also been established in integrated schools. In particular, the number of school of central investment evaluation for integrated schools in urban areas is increasing. In this way, integrated schools, which have been mostly implemented in small rural areas, are being introduced as new ways to establish schools in urban housing development areas where the number of students is small or the number of students is difficult to predict. However, many studies of integrated school have been limited to appropriate scaling of small schools in rural areas, school management methods, and satisfaction surveys. The study of integrated school in urban areas is also focused on the study of architectural planning. In addition, there were limitations in suggesting the comprehensive establishment plan of schools or approaching urban planning when developing housing complexes. The purpose of this study is to suggest efficient establishment plan of integrated school in the development of urban housing complexes.

  • This paper deals with challenges of Mongolian government regarding Economic Development Plan (hereafter EDP). EDP has a long history, appearing first in the socialist countries, then in European countries following the European Reconstruction Plan after the Second World War, and then in many developing countries after they gained independence from the colonial rule. Major challenges of the Mongolian EDP are largely related to the absence or lack of integrated approach. We will propose a new integrated framework based on the approach suggested by UNDP. The new framework consists of 5 core areas; 1) institutions and governance, 2) evidence-based and empirically backed policy options, 3) development of budgeting and financial system, 4) and monitoring and evaluation (M&E), 5) capacity development. In order to identify challenges in Mongolia, the new integrated approach was applied to diagnose current states. To understand current states of EDP in Mongolia, survey regarding EDP in Mongolia was conducted for the 43 officials of Ministry of Finance. The same approach was applied for Five-Year Economic Development Plans in Korea to compare performances with EDP in Mongolia. On the basis of comparative analysis of EDPs in Mongolia and Korea, some lessons are suggested.

  • In is a recent trend of the world to study the integrated science curriculum development. This study aims at pursuing how to integrate physics and earthscience in high school course and forming a tentative plan as to an integrated process between both the subjects. The one was compared with the other accor ding to the basic concepts and theteaching objecties. The contents of these two subjects were analysed, the overlapping parts being chosen, and so in the hierachy of the curriculum, some mistakes were found in eaching these two two subjects. It proved valid to in tegrate these two subject. A concrete scheme was offered to in tegrate these two subjects-physics and earthscience, when a tentative plan concerning, the integra ted process was made. This new plan can make the time required for teaching decrease by 5% The better study on the basic structure of the integrated concepts between these two subjects will go on further in this respect. It is necessary to train again the teachres concerned with this new subject and to put an emphasis on the elective course between physics and earthscience in the teacher's college curriculum.
