주거환경분석시스템의 CAD 시스템 통합을 통한 공동주택단지설계 시 일조 및 조망분석에 관한 연구 (The Analysis of View and Daylights for the Design of Public Housing Complexes Using a Residential Environment Analysis System Integrated into a CAD System)

  • This paper concerns about residential environment analysis program implementation for design and analysis on public housing complexes such that view and daylight analysis processes are automated and integrated into existing design routine to achieve better design efficiency. Considering the architectural design trends this paper chooses ArchiCAD as a platform for a CAD system, which contains the concepts such as integrated object-oriented CAD, virtual building and BIM. Residential environment analysis system consists of three components. The first component is the 3D modeling part defining 3D form information for external geographic contour models, site models and interior/exterior of apartment buildings. The second is the parametric library part handling the design parameters for view and daylight analysis. The last is the user interface for the input/output and integration of data for the environment analysis. Daylight analysis shows rendered images as well as results of daylight reports and grades per time and performs the calculations for floor shadow. It separates the site-only analysis from the analysis of site and exterior environmental parameters. View analysis considers horizontal and vertical view angles to produce view image from each unit and uses the bitmap analysis method to determine opening ratio, scenery ratio and void ratio. We could expect better performance and precision from this residential environment analysis system than the existing 2D drawing based view and daylight analysis methods and overcome the existing one-way flow of design information from 3D form to analysis reports so that site design modifications are automatically reflected on analysis results. Each part is developed in a module so that further integration and extension into other related estimation and construction management systems are made possible.

  • 본 논문은 고도로 발전된 군사과학 기술의 영향과 급변하는 해양전장환경의 디지털화, 함정생존성 극대화를 위한 고출력 센서체계 등 고출력 에너지 사용 체계 플랫폼 실현을 위한 해군함정의 통합 동력 시스템 발전 경향을 분석하는데 초점을 두었다. 함정에서 전자기를 이용하는 항공기 출격 시스템, 200NM(370km) 이상 원거리에서 정밀타격이 가능한 전자기 포 등 고출력 에너지를 사용하는 각종 무기체계가 탑재되기 위해서는 추진동력을 포함한 함정에 공급되는 모든 동력이 단일화 되어야하는 통합 동력 시스템으로 변화하는 것이 가장 이상적이다. 선진국을 중심으로 통합 동력 시스템을 실현하기 위해서 기계식 추진시스템에서 하이브리드 및 완전전기추진시스템으로 변화하고 있는 추세이며 이러한 노력은 연료사용의 절감, 함정 탑재 장비의 고출력화, 함정 총 수명주기 비용 절감 등을 포함하고 있다.

통합된 CAD/CAE 자동화 System을 이용한 구조강도해석 및 설계최적화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Structural Analysis & Design Optimization Using Automation System Integrated with CAD/CAE)

  • In this paper, a CAD/CAE integrated optimal design system is developed, in which design and analysis process is automated using CAD/CAE softwares for a complex model in which the modeling by parametric feature is not easy to apply. Unigraphics is used for CAD modeling, in which the process is automated by using UG/Knowledge Fusion for modeling itself and UG/Open API function for the other functions respectively. Structural analyses are also carried out automatically by ANSYS using the imported parasolid model. The developed system is applied for the PLS(Plasma Lighting System) consisting of more than 20 components, which is a next generation illumination system that is used to illuminate stadium or outdoor advertizing panel. The analyses include responses by static, wind and impact loads. As a result of analyses, tilt assembly, which is a link between upper and lower body, is found to be the most critical component bearing higher stresses. Experiment is conducted using MTS to validate the analysis result. Optimization is carried out using the software Visual DOC for the tilt assembly to minimize material volume while maintaining allowable stress level. As a result of optimization, the maximum stress is reduced by 57% from the existing design, though the material volume has increased by 21%.

GPS와 QZSS 통합위성항법 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of Integrated GNSS with GPS and QZSS)

  • QZSS(Quasi-Zenith Satellite System)는 일본의 위성항법시스템으로 도심지역에서 GPS 시스템의 가시성 향상을 위해 계획되었다. 첫 번째 위성(Michibiki)이 2010년 발사되었으며 이후 정상적으로 항법신호를 방송하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 GPS와 QZSS를 이용한 통합위성항법시스템의 성능을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 특히 한반도 주변에서의 통합위성항법 시스템 사용 관점에서 연구가 진행되었으며, QZSS 시스템의 특성 분석, 실험 장비를 이용한 실측 및 통계적 분석 등을 통해 체계적인 연구를 하여 GPS와 QZSS 위성항법 시스템이 가시성측면에서 장애를 받는 경우 뿐 아니라 평상의 위치 측정에도 더욱 신뢰성이 높음을 확인하였다. 또한 한반도 영역에서 다양한 항법파라미터 향상에 GPS와 QZSS 통합위성항법시스템이 매우 유용할 것으로 전망된다.

  • The dynamic simulation of machine tools and motion control systems has been widely used for optimization, design verification, control design, etc. There are three main streams in dynamic simulation: structural dynamic analysis based onthe finite element method, dynamic motion analysis based on equations of motion, and control system analysis based on transfer functions. Generally, one of these dynamic simulation methods is chosen and employed for specific purposes. In this study, an integrated dynamic simulation is introduced, in which the structure, motion, and control dynamics are combined together. Commercially well-known software is used in the integrated dynamic simulation: ANSYS, ADAMS, and Matlab/Simulink. Using the integrated dynamic simulation, the dynamics of a magnetic bearing stage is analyzed and the causes of oscillation and noise are identified. A controller design for suppressing a flexible dynamic mode is carried out and verified through the integrated dynamic simulation.

  • An integrated structural design system can define and process complex design information that occurs in each of the design stages for flexible cooperation. It can also reduce human error on sequential design steps: preliminary design, analysis and detailed design. Therefore, it's very important to have consistent semantic expression and procedure for structural design information that has complex relationships. In this study, we introduce the object-oriented concepts and object-oriented database thechnique that provides high level semantic expression in order to develop an integrated structural design system.

웹 기반의 공간정보예측시스템을 이용한 통합적 하수도 관리 시스템의 개발 및 적용 (An Integrated Sewer Management System using Web Based Predictive Spatial Information System)

  • Web based integrated sewer management system was developed for the analysis of sewer flow and for the optimal operation of sewer works using ArcView and SWMM. SWMM and ArcView were dynamically linked together using Avenue in order to construct user-friendly information management system. The developed system was applied to the residential area in Choonchun city to verify its utilities. All the relevant field data were analyzed on the basis of the developed system, and the modeling of sewer flow was implemented using RUNOFF, EXTRAN, TRANSPORT in SWMM. This system is now in the process of connection to the management system of stormwater, surface and subsurface environment in order to develop an integrated environmental management system. Futhermore, this system will be a critical part of overall control system of sewer works including sewer network and wastewater treatment plant. As this system can provide comprehensive prediction of flow and pollution profiles, it could serve as a tool not only for the optimal management, but also for the decision support system to examine the efficiency of planning and implementation of sewer projects.

  • This paper presents a database design for power system operational planning system of the integrated system for power system operational planning and analysis that will be more economical and stable of power system operation. An alias of the integrated system is Highly Integrated Total Energy System(HITES). We first describe the requirements for the Power System Planning System of HTES. Database design is processed in two phases(conceptual design and physical design), and CDM(Conceptual Data Model) and PDM(Physical Data Model) are generated by Powerdesigner(CASE tool for database design). In the future, the constructed database needs to be tested and tuning.

A Preliminary Study on Direct Ethanol SOFC for Marine Applications

  • This research presents an innovative integrated ethanol solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) system designed for applications in marine vessels. The system incorporates an exhaust gas heat recovery mechanism. The high-temperature exhaust gas produced by the SOFC is efficiently recovered through a sequential process involving a gas turbine (GT), a regenerative system, steam Rankine cycles, and a waste heat boiler (WHB). A comprehensive thermodynamic analysis of this integrated SOFC-GT-SRC-WHB system was performed. A simulation of this proposed system was conducted using Aspen Hysys V12.1, and a genetic algorithm was employed to optimize the system parameters. Thermodynamic equations based on the first and second laws of thermodynamics were utilized to assess the system's performance. Additionally, the exergy destruction within the crucial system components was examined. The system is projected to achieve an energy efficiency of 58.44% and an exergy efficiency of 29.43%. Notably, the integrated high-temperature exhaust gas recovery systems contribute significantly, generating 1129.1 kW, which accounts for 22.9% of the total power generated. Furthermore, the waste heat boiler was designed to produce 900.8 kg/h of superheated vapor at 170 ℃ and 405 kP a, serving various onboard ship purposes, such as heating fuel oil and accommodations for seafarers and equipment.
