  • This paper proposes an Molding error compensation method that improves accuracy with geometry information of injected parts using three-dimensional measuring instrument. a traditional mold design has been conducted by an experience-based trial and error, whereby generally the mold designer would decide the gate location and processing conditions. as a natural consequence, almost all creats inferior goods. It's just a process of trial and error and caught in a vicious circle. Due to this reason, this paper uses a three-dimensional measuring instrument, a commercial analysis package of injection molding(Moldflow, MPI) to analysis a state of flux.   • The effect of sensor faults in direct torque control(DTC) based induction motor drives is analyzed and a new Instrument fault detection isolation scheme(IFDIS) is proposed. The proposed IFDIS, which operated in real-time, detects and isolates the incipient fault(s) of speed sensor and current sensors that provide the feedback information. The scheme consists of an adaptive gain scheduling observer as a residual generator and a special sequential test logic unit. The observer provides not only the estimate of stator flux, a key variable in DTC system, but also the estimates of stator current and rotor speed that are useful for fault detection. With the test logic, the IFDIS has the functionality of fault isolation that only multiple estimator based IFDIS schemes can have. Simulation results for various type of sensor faults show the detection and isolation performance of the IFDIS and the applicability of this scheme to fault tolerant control system design.

  • In our research, we designed a small step motor with 2-phase structure and a micro step driving IC, which is used in an automotive instrument. The step motor for the automotive instrument has the better advantages than a cross coil type motor. These advantages are the characteristics with a good linearity, a fine accuracy, a low noise and so on.

  • The NMR's probe consists of the static magnetic field generator (magnetic source) and the RF coil. It is very strict for the homogeneity of the static magnetic field intensity of the magnetic source, so the cost of the magnetic source is more expensive in the entire nuclear magnetic resonance instrument. The magnetic source generally consists of electromagnet, permanent magnet and superconducting magnet. The permanent magnet basically needs not to spend on operation and maintenance and its cost of manufacture is much cheaper than the superconducting magnet. Therefore, the permanent magnet may be the only choice for the static magnetic field device if we want to use the magnetic resonance instrument as an analyzer for production by reducing price. A new probe magnet was developed on the basis of the permanent magnet ring in this paper to provide a technological way for reducing the manufacturing cost, weight and volume of the existing nuclear magnetic resonance instrument (including MRI) probe.

  • Before evaluating convergent, discriminant, and known-groups validity, it is suggested to design an instrument that reflects hypothetical relationships or differences with other comparator instruments or groups. For criterion validity, a gold-standard instrument measuring the same construct should be carefully selected.

  • Purpose : Lymphedema is a common complication in mastectomy patients and is usually characterized by pain, swelling, and limited range of motion (ROM) in the arm. Electromyostimulation (EMS) is widely used for the rehabilitation and recovery of subjects with various neuromusculoskeletal disorders after breast cancer. However, EMS has not yet been used in many Pilates exercises. This study was aimed at comparing the effects of instrument Pilates integrated with EMS on pain, lymphedema, and ROM of the upper extremity (UE) in breast cancer subjects after mastectomy. Methods : Nine female breast cancer subjects who had undergone mastectomy participated in the study. The subjects underwent instrument Pilates with EMS (experimental group) or instrument Pilates only (control group). Pain, lymphedema, and ROM of the UE were measured using the visual analog scale (VAS), the circumference length of the UE, and the ROM of the UE. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test was used to compare the pain, lymphedema, and ROM of the arm before and after the intervention, and the Mann-Whitney U test was used to compare the two groups. The statistical significance level was set to p < .05. Results : In the experimental group, there were significant differences in pain (p<.05) and UE circumference (p<.05) before and after intervention. However, there was no significant difference between the two groups in VAS (p>.05) or circumference length of the UE (p>.05). There was one significant difference between the groups in terms of internal rotation of the ROM of the UE (p<.05). Conclusion : These results show that instrument Pilates exercises combined with EMS may positively affect the internal rotation of the ROM of the UE in breast cancer patients after mastectomy, thus contributing to existing knowledge about instrument Pilates using EMS for the effective management of in breast cancer subjects after mastectomy.

  • Bending motion has been used in the surgical instruments with bending structures and tendon mechanisms. A simplified bending angle amplification ratio between the proximal and distal bending joint was derived in this article. The bending structure of disk and rib in the proximal joint was analyzed based on finite element method with an emphasis on the circumferential uniformity of bending stiffness. Regarding the distal joint, optimal design and sensitivity analysis was done with four design variables of outer and inner diameter, rib height and rib width while maximizing the deformation under the stress distribution below the yield stress. Outer diameter and rib width are most critical to maximum deformation as the outer diameter and inner diameters are so to maximum equivalent stress.

  • With environmental problems and pollutions accumulated by continuous towns or cities developments events, it is becoming necessary to develop in consideration of environmental effects. This consensus leads to prepare a plan system and instrument for ecological city development, which can be a series of planning indicators. To develope a series of process for environmental friendly development, this study has three main goals as follows; development of policies and programs for environmental friendly development, suggestion of environmental friendly urban design models and standards, development of planning indicators and design guidelines Korean land use plan is operated by both zoning system and detailed plan system. But the available kinds of zoning type are too limited to apply to various and vernacular places. In addition to, the detailed plan is understood to be another regulation which constricts the freedom of building right. In this study, Plan System of Environmentally Friendly Space was studied for domestic affairs In German, Plan System of Environmentally Friendly Space is the field have been progressed before. so In this study, example of German was researched intensively, and Plan System of Environmentally Friendly Space was developed, applicable for the real state in domestic. This study was focused on methodology of landscape planning and planning for afforestation. Landscape planning is performed on condition detail investigation of existent state of nature and local characteristic, and Investigation of Planning for afforestation is more detailed than that of Landscape planning. In the basis of methodology of landscape planning and planning for afforestation, Plan for Environmentally Friendly Urban Habitation Model was developed. Plan for Environmentally Friendly Urban Habitation Model was applicable for state of land use planning. Site was selected Chuk-chun in city yang-in, taking the circumstances into consideration. So landscape planning correspond to land use planning was made out. Adjustment of Land use planning and Landscape planning was very important. Undergoing this process, Plan for Environmentally Friendly Urban Habitation Model was performed.

  • Because a molten steel carrier is used in high-temperature and corrosive environments, erosion and corrosion decrease the thickness of the structure and expand the vent hole for emitting gas generated from refractory bricks. This increases the stress throughout the structure and introduces a significant stress concentration around the vent hole. In addition, the high-temperature environment degrades mechanical properties such as the yield and tensile strengths. These problems seriously affect the safety of the structure. In this study, the safety of a 10-year-old structure was evaluated by analyzing the stress distribution and measuring the mechanical properties of the structure. The mechanical properties were directly measured on the structure surface using the instrument indentation technique.

  • To verify correct operation of measuring instruments, we request the verification of measuring instrument to the agency that holds inspection devices. This works requires time and cost to the company. For this reason. We proposed "Smart Network Interface Card Model" for remote control of measuring instruments. Our model based on Web adapter, can add, delete and change the program to an existing web adapter from remote system. Furthermore, more than one program can be loaded, and can be updated from the remote system of internet. And also we can change the verification requirement of measuring instrument, hence it makes more good quality and competitive power of instruments.
