'생물교과논리 및 논술' 에서의 논증글쓰기에 대한 동료평가-자기평가-교수자 평가 간 상관관계 분석 (Correlation Analysis among Peer Evaluation, Self-evaluation and Instructor Evaluation on Argumentation Writing in the 'Biology Logic and Essay')

  • 이 연구는 '생물교과논리 및 논술' 수업에서 실시된 논증글쓰기에 대한 동료평가와 자기평가, 교수자 평가 간 상관관계를 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 14명의 예비 생물교사들이 네 차례에 걸쳐 논증글쓰기를 하였고, 이 결과물들을 대상으로 동료평가와 자기평가, 교수자 평가가 이루어졌다. 논증글쓰기에 대한 동료평가는 평균 2.70점이었고, 자기평가 평균은 2.68점, 교수자 평가 평균은 2.71점이었다. 하위 평가 영역별 평균을 살펴보면 동료평가에서는 과학지식이 가장 높았고, 자기평가에서는 구성 영역이 가장 높았다. 또한 교수자 평가에서는 과학지식 영역이 가장 높았다. 표준편차를 살펴본 결과 자기평가의 표준편차가 가장 크게 나타났다. 평가 유형 간 상관관계를 분석한 결과 동료평가와 교수자 평가 간에는 높은 상관관계를 보였고, 자기평가와 교수자 평가 간에는 보통의 상관관계를 나타냈다. 반면에 동료평가와 자기평가 간에는 유의미한 상관관계가 나타나지 않았다. 평가 영역별 상관관계를 분석한 결과에서는 동료평가와 자기평가 간에는 과학 지식, 과학 논증, 구성, 표현의 네 영역에서 모두 유의미한 상관관계가 나타나지 않았다. 또한 동료평가와 교수자 평가 간 분석에서는 과학 지식, 과학 논증, 구성 영역에서 유의미한 상관관계가 나타났다. 또한 자기평가와 교수자 평가 간에는 표현 영역에서만 유의미한 상관관계를 보였다. 이 연구의 결과는 '교과논리 및 논술' 수업에서 동료평가의 적용 가능성이 높음을 보여주는 것이다. 또한 동료평가와 자기평가를 활용하기 위해서는 평가 유형에 따른 평가 기준 세분화가 필요함을 시사하고 있다.

The Influence of SGRs on Self, Peer, and Instructor Evaluation in Higher Education

  • This research has three purposes: The first purpose is to verify whether SGRs(Student-Generated Rubrics) are effective for learner achievement in higher education or not. The second one is to analyze the agreements between an instructor's evaluations and peer group assessments with SGRs in real classroom situation. The final purpose is to propose the possibility of students' more objective self-evaluation with the use of SGRs. It appears that rubrics are effective tools to improve learner achievement in adult education and to promote the agreement between the instructor's and peer's evaluations, even though learners do not develop SGRs. In addition, this research has demonstrated that most students are not very accurate self-assessors, and they often overestimate themselves. This study can be helpful for novice instructors, especially for those who try to assess their students more fairly, to develop the SGRs as an evaluation tool appropriate for their own situation, and to give more reliable feedback to students.

일반항공 비행교관 역량별 행동지표 및 비행교관 교육요구 분석 (Identifying Behavior Indicators for Flight Instructor Competencies and Training Needs Analysis for General Aviation Flight Instructor)

  • This study aims to provide information necessary for developing a "Competency-Based Training and Evaluation Plan" for general aviation flight instructors in Korea. General aviation training experts designed a survey by selecting "Behavior Indicators" from the ICAO Flight Instructor Competency Model. This study analyses the importance of Behavioral Indicators, the level of instructor performance, and the training needs for flight instructors. According to the factor analysis, ICAO "Flight Instructor Competency Model" is found as a valid tool to measure general aviation flight instructor competencies. According to the training needs analysis, flight instructors training program needs to be improved on "Training Environment Management", "Teaching Method", and "Interaction" competencies. When compared with trainee group, flight instructors & examiners have a higher training demand for "Teaching & Learning Environment Management". This study suggests the flight instructor training program requires to be reorganized based on the competencies related to the flight instructor duties in the training environments.

  • 예비교사들에게 가상수업을 실시하여 가상 수학수업에 대한 자기평가와 동료평가 및 교수자의 평가를 실시한 결과, 가상 수학수업에 대한 자기평가와 동료평가 교수자의 평가에 차이가 나타났다. 예비교사들이 가상수업에 대한 자기평가와 동료평가의 많은 경험을 통하여 교수방법을 반성할 기회를 가지도록 해야 할 것으로 보인다.

  • 본 연구는 기본적인 교수학습 역량과 컴퓨팅 사고력에 기반한 SW교육을 포함한 SW교육 강사 자격 종목을 발굴하고 그 내용체계를 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 선행 사례연구, 델파이 조사, 전문가 회의 등의 방법을 사용하여 SW교육 강사 자격을 3개의 급수로 나누고 자격평가영역을 초중등 교육과정을 반영하여 '교수학습방법'과 '소프트웨어 교육'의 대영역으로 나누었다. 그리고 급수별 하위 영역과 내용요소를 설정하여 전문가 델파이를 통해 검증하였다. 이러한 연구는 SW교육 강사를 양성하고 강사의 질을 유지 및 관리하는 체계를 구축할 때 의미있게 사용되어 SW교육의 확산과 보급에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

내용기반 교수법을 근거로 예비 유아교사 교육을 실시한 교수자의 어려움 (Understanding Instructor's Challenges of Content Based Instruction : For Pre-service Teachers in Early Childhood Education)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 유아교육을 전공하는 학생들에게 영어로 유아수학교육 수업을 제공하는 과정에서 단계별로 교수자가 구성한 어려움과 의미를 알아보는 것이었다. 내러티브 탐색법을 활용하여 질적 연구를 실행하였으며, 관찰, 인터뷰, 학생들이 작성한 반성적 저널이 연구 자료로 수집되었다. 그 결과, 우선, 준비하는 단계에서 교수자는 원어민이 아니지만, 영어로 수업을 해야 한다는 압박과 영어로 수학교육내용을 어떻게 효과적으로 알려줄 수 있는 다양한 방법을 고려하였다. 수업 하는 단계에서 교수자는 학생들의 지속적인 동기 유발을 갖도록 하는 것과 교수자와 학생, 학생들 간 상호작용이 일어날 수 있는 기회를 마련하는 것을 중요하게 인식하였다. 평가 단계에서는 수업 준비와 실행 단계에서 부족했던 내용을 분석하는 것을 중요하게 인식하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 유아교육학과에서 영어로 전공 수업을 하는 상황에서 의미 있고, 적절한 교수학습 방법을 찾아보는 것에 기여를 할 것이라 사려된다.

e-Leaming Environments for Digital Circuit Experiments

  • This paper proposes e-Learning environments far digital circuit experiment. The e-Learning environments are implemented as a WBT system that includes the circuits monitoring system and the students management system. In the WBT client-server system, the instructor represents the server and students represent clients. The client computers are equipped with a digital circuit training board and connected to the server on the World Wide Web. The training board consists of a Programmable Logic Device (PLD) and measuring instruments. The instructor can reconfigure the PLD with various circuit designs from the server so that students can investigate signals from the training board. The instructor can monitor the progress of the students using Joint Test Action Grouo(JTAG) technology. We implement the WBT system and a courseware fo digital circuits and evaluation the environments.

One Instructor에 의해 진행된 Modified Problem-Based Learning 교육기법 평가 (Evaluation of Modified Problem-Based Learning Facilitated by One Instructor)

  • Background: Problem-based learning (PBL) has introduced as an important part of pharmacy education in Korea as it is effective method to help students gain and apply knowledge with development of problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills. In order to provide the effective PBL, a number of trained facilitators and suitable PBL rooms are required. However, these become a barrier in Korea as most pharmacy schools have one or two faculty members who majored in clinical pharmacy. Objective: This study was performed to implement and evaluate a modified PBL in gastrointestinal (GI) pharmacotherapy class facilitated by one instructor. Methods: A general information of traditional PBL for 6 hours through 3 days is introduced before initiating GI pharmacotherapy class. After 3 hour-GI pharmacotherapy classes for 6 weeks, modified PBL was implemented with one instructor to facilitate PBL for four small groups with 19 pharmacy students simultaneously. Modified PBL was incorporated with weekly mini-case discussion and presentation. Results: Students completed 15-question survey to evaluate modified PBL course, student performance, group performance, and facilitator performance. Eighty-four percent of students answered modified PBL was helpful to understand what they have learned. Mean score in group performance was higher than that of individual performance during modified PBL course. Overall, students reported modified PBL was useful in knowledge building. Conclusion: Modified PBL model without individual group facilitators in one classroom helped students to achieve self-directed, independent learning skills in an interactive and engaging environment.

Kano 모델에 기반한 국내외 조리교육 서비스 품질속성 비교분석 (Comparative Analysis of the Educational Service Quality of Domestic and Foreign Culinary Schools using the Kano Model)

  • The purpose of this study was to use the Kano model to compare and analyze the educational service quality attributes of domestic and foreign culinary arts schools. For this purpose, a questionnaire-based survey was completed by 312 students who were studying in domestic and foreign culinary schools. The results of the study indicated that 23 of the total 25 attributes were significantly different between domestic and foreign culinary arts school.; the "minium 4 hour-kitchen class" and "mandatory internship program" were classified into "indifferent quality" for domestic schools and a "must-be quality" for foreign schools; "well-organized internship guidebook", "kitchen class limited to 20 students", "introducing the latest food or restaurant trends", "library with the latest publications related to major", "objective instructor's evaluation", "detailed instructor's evaluation", "instructor's field experience", and "decent communication skills on the part of the instructor" attributes were classified into "attractive quality" for domestic schools and "must-be quality" for foreign schools; and "kitchen classes operated by block system", and "foreign instructors for each ethnic cuisine" attributes were classified into "indifferent" and "attractive quality" for both domestic and foreign schools, respectively. Also, according to the Better and Worse quotient designed by Timko, there were more attributes for domestic school than for foreign school that scored over 0.5 in the Better category and fewer attributes for domestic than the foreign scored over 0.5 in the Worse category. The results also indicate that, students in foreign schools receive an educational service of better quality than students in a domestic school. As a result, this research suggests significant implications to develop culinary educational services.
