  • The purpose of this paper was to develop an instructional design model and checklist for AI education. Literature review was conducted to derive the structure of the instructional design model. And delphi survey was conducted twice to revise and improve the elements & items of the instructional design model and checklist and to confirm the content validity of both instructional design model and the checklist. As a result, an instructional design model consisting of three main steps(Analysis - Design & Development - Implementation & Evaluation) was suggested with a detail checklist which explained what teachers need to do in each step of this instructional development model when they prepare AI education using this instructional design model. Limitations and suggestions for further studies were presented at the end of this paper.

  • This research aims to develop based clothing design process tailored to the industry-university collaborative setting and apply it in a fashion design class. into three distinct phases: designing and organizing our fashion design class, conducting our class at a university, and gathering student feedback. First, we conducted a literature review on employing new technologies in traditional clothing design processes. We consulted with industry professionals from the Samsung C&T Fashion Group to develop an AI-based clothing design process. We then developed in-class learning activities that leveraged fashion brand product databases, a supervised learning AI model, and operating an AI-based Creativity Support Tool (CST). Next, we setup an industry-university fashion design class at a university in South Korea. Finally, we obtained feedback from undergraduate students who participated in the class. The survey results showed a satisfaction level of 4.7 out of 5. The evaluations confirmed that the instructional methods, communication, faculty, and student interactions within the class were both adequate and appropriate. These research findings highlighted that our AI-based clothing design process applied within the fashion design class led to valuable data-driven convergent thinking and technical experience beyond that of traditional clothing design processes.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the direction and implications of learning with AI in the future by analyzing the trends of research learning with AI in the field of education. For doing this, the final 78 papers published in domestic journals over the past three years from 2019 to July 2021 were selected for analysis through review. The analysis results are as follows. First of all, papers in 2020 among the three years were most published, and the most utilized research method was the qualitative research. In addition, according to the analysis by study subject, studies on elementary school students were the most common, followed by studies on college and graduate students. In the analysis by subject, research related to foreign language education was most utilized and chatbot was most used in the AI technology type. Finally, the research learning with AI accounted for the majority, and student support accounted for the majority as the type of education system learning with AI at the implementation stage among the areas of teaching and learning and evaluation. Based on these results, the direction and implications of learning with AI in the future were presented. This study is meaningful in that it grasped research trends of learning with AI in domestic from an overall perspective, and examined learning with AI focusing on the instructor-learner and the teaching and learning design process.

The Effects of Computer Interest Levels and Chatting Method (with AI Chatting robot: Chatterbot) on Teaching and Learning (인공지능 채팅로봇인 채터봇을 활용한 실시간 온라인 채팅수업방법과 컴퓨터 흥미도의 교수-학습적 영향 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the effects of the use of Chatting Method(with AI Chatting robot: Chatterbot) and Computer Interest Levels on Teaching & Learning. The major findings of the study are as follows. Firstly, the chatting activities using the chatterbot method and computer Interest Levels were not effective in the academic achievement. Secondly, the chatting activities using the chatterbot method and computer Interest Levels were effective in improving the learning motivation. Thirdly, According to the result of post-feedback analysis, the benefits of chatterbot method was 'the new', 'transcends time and space', 'drill and practice learning' and was some of the drawbacks 'response fixed', lack of emotional transactions. and the proposal 'PBL' was reached(1. strength: new experience, 2. weakness: be tired, 3. proposal: PBL approach). Fourthly, the relationship between the academic achievement, learning motivation, post-feedback was no correlation. Based on these results, the study suggests that the chatterbot method was need for multiple instructional design strategy.

  • Artificial intelligence technology is influencing across all areas as technology advances and social needs change. Therefore, Korean universities have actively developed and operated classes related to artificial intelligence, and have emphasized the importance of artificial intelligence not only in major education but also in liberal arts education. However, there is a lack of research on the development of educational methods and educational programs because artificial intelligence education in liberal arts is in its early stages. SSI is an education that can apply social and ethical problems related to science to open problems that can creatively and reasonably present solutions. SSI can be applied to make AI education more effective. In this study, an artificial intelligence liberal arts curriculum applied SSI was developed with three purposes: First, it is designed is designed so that students subject to education can access it by considering its characteristics as actors of the intelligent information society. Second, it is designed so that students can experience artificial intelligence programs themselves and deal with science technology and social relevance in depth, focusing on various examples of real life. Third, it is designed and approached so that students can participate and cooperate for the purpose of solving common problems to develop cooperative problem-solving skills.

  • The importance of University Archives Management is increasing. In this study, we researched cases of collecting and managing educational archival contents in universities. Developed archival contents for software practical education, and implemented it to the Capstone Design course and overseas program. The effect of applying the model was analyzed through surveys and interviews. The Capstone Design Survey, involving 349 participants, indicated the highest satisfaction with the University-Industry Cooperation type. The experience of dissemination and enhancement was aggregated as the second highest satisfaction. In the second survey, 62 students who had participated in the overseas program over the span of two years took part. All nine Likert-type questions showed high satisfaction scores of more than 4 points. The top three satisfaction factors-content, program type, and advanced experience-showed high satisfaction scores of 4.85, 4.74, and 4.71, respectively. Through interviews with professors, mentors, and students, it was also confirmed that instructional methods utilizing archival contents are effective. And the model we developed is applicable for convergence education.
