Population-level learning has traditionally been used to provide an explanation for the underlying mechanism of industry change. But it has yet to examine the impact on strategic decisions such as market entry. This conceptual paper aims to provide an insight into how population-level learning affects entry likelihood by acting as a tool for interpreting population-level changes. We study this in the context of the fast-paced mobile gaming industry where population-level information is salient and develop a set of propositions with regard to the likelihood of entry.

초행길 인생인 우리들이 시행착오를 줄이려면, 인류가 이룩한 인생살이의 교훈과 노하우를 미리미리 교육을 통해 깨닫는 것이 필요하다. 교육현장에서 미시적 탐구 위주의 수학교육 연구영역을 삶에 관계되는 영역까지 확장하여, 인생살이를 효율적으로 통찰하고자 한다. 본 연구는 인생살이를 살피는 방법들을 크게 네 가지로 분류하고, 인생살이 통찰에 필요한 수학적 모델을 경험 가능한 일상영역에서 찾을 수 있도록 설계하였다. 이렇게 만들어진 모델세계로 인생살이를 통찰하는 예를 통해, 수학적 모델링으로 인생살이를 통찰하는 방법을 새롭게 소개한다.

Research Purpose Advances in digital technology have facilitated the widespread adoption of online learning, which has become a substantial way of learning. Although digital immigrants have become a main group of users of learning online, there is a lack of understanding of their online learning. This study aims to explore digital immigrants' adoption of online learning from the goal-pursuit perspective to gain insight into how they use online learning. Research Method A laddering interview was conducted with 22 Korean adults to elicit their goals in online learning. Then, a means-end chain analysis was used to derive their hierarchical goal structure. Findings The results reveal digital immigrants' goal structure of online learning, consisting of four attributes of online learning (e.g., accessibility, diversity, up-to-dateness, and repeatability) and six goals (e.g., self-esteem, enjoyment, recognition, productivity, gaining insights, and positive relations). This study contributes to the literature by providing a rich picture of their use of online learning.

One of characteristics of firms having successfully developed new products is that they are practicing strategic learning, that is, organizational learning for preparing the future. In this context, we attempts to examine the effect of strategic learning on the proficiency of new product development activities and new product outcome, in an empirical way. In addition, we Investigated the moderating effect of new product innovativeness on the relationship among strategic learning, proficiency of new product development activities, and new product outcome. The analysis results show that the strategic learning has a positive impact on both the proficiency of new product development activities and new product outcome. And it was found that the impact of strategic learning on the proficiency of new product development activities is increasing when firms developing new products with high degree of innovativeness. However, the impact of strategic learning on new product outcome was not different according to new product innovativeness. This results shed some insight on the role of strategic learning in the new product development management.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to translate the Self-Reflection and Insight Scale (SRIS) into Korean and test its validity and reliability. Methods: Participants were 340 nursing students who were recruited from 5 nursing colleges in Korea. Data were collected from November 21 to December 20, 2016 and analyzed using the IBM Statistics SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 23.0 programs. Exploratory factor analysis, Confirmatory factor analysis, and concurrent validity analysis were performed. Results: For the Korean-SRIS (K-SRIS) 4 items were deleted from the original SRIS. The final scale consisted of 16 items which were sorted into- the 2 factors: self-reflection (11 items), insight (5 items). The cumulative percent of variance was 50.91%. The statistically significant correlation between K-SRIS scores and the Reflection in Learning Scale (RLS) support the concurrent validity of the K-SRIS. The reliability of the scale, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ was .83. Conclusion: The finding indicate that the K-SRIS has validity and reliability. Therefore it can be used for measuring and developing reflection ability in nursing students.

본고는 퇴계의 "언행록"에 나타난 사제관계를 통해 퇴계가 추구했던 교육방법 또는 학습법의 특징을 살펴보고, 그 현대 교육적 의미를 탐색한 것이다. 퇴계는 다양한 저술과 제자 교육을 통해 전통 유학 교육에 충실하게 임했다. 특히, 심득(心得)과 궁행(躬行)으로 제자들을 일깨웠는데, 그것은 전통 유학의 교육방식에 기초하였다. 이런 점에서 퇴계는 유학의 교육관과 교육 방식에 따라 스승으로서의 직분에 성실하려고 노력한 것으로 판단된다. 유학에서 스승은 단순한 지식 전수자이기보다는 인간의 전체적 삶의 문제를 고민한 전인적 교사였다. 때문에 스승은 옛것과 새것의 계승과 창조의 측면을 적절히 조화하려는 온고지신(溫故知新)의 자세와 끊임없이 배우며 가르침에 최선을 다하려는 교육자로서의 태도를 견지했다. 퇴계도 제자마다 개인에 대한 가르침에 성실하게 응대하여 학문의 과정에서 공경과 신뢰를 확보했고, 제자들 또한 그런 학문적 인격에 감화받고 스승의 학맥을 이어나갔다. 그것은 현대적 의미의 교육방법이나 학습법의 측면에서 이해하면 인지학습과 성인학습의 측면에서 대비할 수 있다. 퇴계의 사제관계에 드러난 교육방법이나 학습법은 인지학습의 측면에서는 잠재학습과 통찰학습, 그리고 모방학습과 상통하고, 성인학습의 측면에서는 경험학습과 자기주도학습, 그리고 의사소통학습의 측면으로 이해할 수 있다.

Recently the concept of learning has become very fashionable among academics from different economic disciplines. Economic geographers and spatial planners joined this fashion by increasingly speaking about the 'learning region'. This paper makes clear that this learning region'. This paper makes clear that this learning region concept has been launched from three angles; as spatial outcome of grand societal changes, as spatial concentration of entrepreneurial learning for innovation and as regional development concept. Despite the deficits and flaws such a young concept is faced with, such as vague definitions, the lack of empirical research and an insufficiently clear separation from existing concepts, the learning region concept might provide economic geography with more insight in agglomeration effects, stronger links with policy-making and more knowledge on path dependency and thus on unravelling the distinction between 'good' and 'bad' industrial agglomerations.

In this paper, a new competition strategy for learning vector quantization is proposed. The simple competitive strategy used for learning vector quantization moves the winning prototype which is the closest to the newly given data pattern. We propose a new learning strategy based on k-nearest neighbor prototypes as the winning prototypes. The selection of several prototypes as the winning prototypes guarantees that the updating process occurs more frequently. The design is illustrated with the aid of numeric examples that provide a detailed insight into the performance of the proposed learning strategy.

The purpose of this study is to review a variety of e-learning use in medical education, and to analyze the e-learning related research in medical education, finally to discuss possibilities and limitations of e-learning in future. Subjects of this research are 46 papers published in Korean Medical Database, PubMed, MEDLIS, RISS4U. Content analysis of 46 papers have been conducted based on the period of research, research methods, research subjects, study personnel, effectiveness. The results are as follows. First, various e-learning, such as hyper-media, simulation-based medical education (SBME), game-based learning, web-based learning, computer-based test (CBT) are implemented in medical education. Second, 35 research (76.1%) has verified the positive effect of e-learning. Third, in the case of Korean studies, experimental studies (46.2%) in a short period (46.2%) of 50-100 people (42.3%) to take the most. As a result, it is reported a lack of theoretical discussion and insight on e-learning compared to foreign research. Educational paradigms are currently shifting from off-line to on-line, from traditional classroom lecture to e-learning. But e-learning is not a substitution to traditional teaching, but a matter of choice. The choice is up to medical professors and students.

The current article examines the interactions among students' attitudes to e-learning, their implementation of e-learning in their studies, and learning effectiveness. Significantly, it emphasizes the mediating role of accepting e-learning in training. It applied reliability analyses to test the measurement of items and construct validity, using the research data collected from students at Vietnam National University of Ho Chi Minh. Then, the current article used multiple regressions to inspect the causal relations; and applied procedures to investigate the mediating influence. The empirical results indicate students' attitude to e-learning positively influences their implementation of e-learning in their studies. When students apply e-learning in their studies, they likely achieve the best possible training effectiveness. Statistical evidence on the mediating role of accepting e-learning in training by students on the linkage between their attitude to e-learning and training effectiveness is revealed in this article. The findings of this article make some contributions. For educational administrators, it offers insight into the links among students' attitudes to e-learning, their implementation of e-learning in their studies, and training effectiveness, which likely allows them to establish suitable online training programs. This will be beneficial to both learners and educational institutes.
