강자성 박판소재의 잔류응력 측정 시스템의 설계 및 제작 (System Design and H/W Development of the Residual Stress Measurement for Ferromagnetic thin Sheet)

  • 강자성 극박소재에 유기된 잔류응력을 검출하기 위하여 자기유도형 탐촉자(probe)를 설계·제작하였으며, 이를 장착한 잔류음력 평가시스템은 박판내에 유기된 잔류응력의 주응력 방향과 크기를 효과적으로 결정하여 준다. 이 시스템을 반도체 칩 팩키지(package)용으로 사용하는 Fe-42Ni계 lead frame 판재의 잔류응력 검출에 적용한 결과, 양호재 및 잔류응력과다 불량재에 대한 출력전압은 명확히 구별되었고, 잔류응력이 축적된 판재는 양호재와 비교하여 응력의 분포 및 크기에 있어 항상 차이를 나타내었다. 이러한 차이는 탐촉자에 투입하는 전류와 주파수의 함수로 잘 분해되어질 수 있음을 확인하였다.

고밀도 프로빙 테스트를 위한 수직형 프로브카드의 제작 및 특성분석 (Development and Characterization of Vertical Type Probe Card for High Density Probing Test)

  • As an increase of chip complexity and level of chip integration, chip input/output (I/O) pad pitches are also drastically reduced. With arrival of high complexity SoC (System on Chip) and SiP (System in Package) products, conventional horizontal type probe card showed its limitation on probing density for wafer level test. To enhance probing density, we proposed new vertical type probe card that has the $70{\mu}m$ probe needle with tungsten wire in $80{\mu}m$ micro-drilled hole in ceramic board. To minimize alignment error, micro-drilling conditions are optimized and epoxy-hardening conditions are also optimized to minimize planarity changes. To apply wafer level test for target devices (T5365 256M SDRAM), designed probe card was characterized by probe needle tension for test, contact resistance measurement, leakage current measurement and the planarity test. Compare to conventional probe card with minimum pitch of $50{\sim}125{\mu}m\;and\;2\;{\Omega}$ of average contact resistance, designed probe card showed only $22{\mu}$ of minimum pitch and $1.5{\Omega}$ of average contact resistance. And also, with the nature of vertical probing style, it showed comparably small contact scratch and it can be applied to bumping type chip test.

  • In this paper, a fault diagnosis and control integrated system (FDCIS) was developed to control the thermoelectric (TE) power in the SP-100 space reactor. The objectives of the proposed model predictive control were to minimize both the difference between the predicted TE power and the desired power, and the variation of control drum angle that adjusts the control reactivity. Also, the objectives were subject to maximum and minimum control drum angle and maximum drum angle variation speed. A genetic algorithm was used to optimize the model predictive controller. The model predictive controller was integrated with a fault detection and diagnostics algorithm so that the controller can work properly even under input and output measurement faults. With the presence of faults, the control law was reconfigured using online estimates of the measurements. Simulation results of the proposed controller showed that the TE generator power level controlled by the proposed controller could track the target power level effectively even under measurement faults, satisfying all control constraints.

미소 변위 진동측정을 위한 광학 시스템 설계 및 제작 (Noncontact optical system for measurement of displacement and vibration)

  • 미세하게 진동하는 물체의 변위를 비접촉식으로 측정할 수 있는 광학계를 설계하고 제작하였다. 도플러효과에 의한 방법과는 달리, 하나의 볼록렌즈를 이용하여 물체 표면에 비스듬하게 입사하여 물체 표면에서 반사되는 광점의 위치 변화를 PSD(position-sensitive detector)로 검출하였다. 이러한 방법으로 전체적인 장비의 크기를 작게 하였고 빠른 응답 속도를 구현하였다. 본 장비는 $\pm$1.0 $\mu\textrm{m}$의 분해능을 나타내었으며, 스피커의 진동 실험 및 CD-ROM안에서 회전하는 C교의 진동을 측정하였다.

  • Dynamic thermal rating of the overhead transmission lines is affected by many uncertain factors. The ambient temperature, wind speed and wind direction are the main sources of uncertainty. Measurement uncertainty is an important parameter to evaluate the reliability of measurement results. This paper presents the uncertainty analysis based on Monte Carlo. On the basis of establishing the mathematical model and setting the probability density function of the input parameter value, the probability density function of the output value is determined by probability distribution random sampling. Through the calculation and analysis of the transient thermal balance equation and the steady- state thermal balance equation, the steady-state current carrying capacity, the transient current carrying capacity, the standard uncertainty and the probability distribution of the minimum and maximum values of the conductor under 95% confidence interval are obtained. The simulation results indicate that Monte Carlo method can decrease the computational complexity, speed up the calculation, and increase the validity and reliability of the uncertainty evaluation.

비용-일정통합기반 진도관리 개선방안 (Improvement of Cost-Schedule integration based Progress Management through PMIS)

  • 최근 건설프로젝트가 대형화되면서 건설사들은 PMIS(Project Management Information System)를 이용하여 대부분의 관리업무를 수행한다. 특히, 건설공사 수행과정에서 가장 빈번한 정보입출력이 발생하는 진도관리 기능은 PMIS의 여러 기능 중 가장 효율적으로 운영되어야 한다. 그러나 PMIS 내에서 입력되는 정보가 대부분 중복입력 없이 운영되고 있음에도 불구하고, 진도관리를 위한 데이터는 비용과 일정 정보의 개별 입력을 통해 관리되고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 물가상승, 설계변경 등에 의해 비용과 일정이 변경되는 사항에 대한 정보가 연계되지 못하여 진도측정의 부정확성과 PMIS에서 관리해야할 데이터의 증가를 유발한다. 이와 같은 문제를 해결하기 위해서 진도측정방법의 개선과 이를 기반으로 한 PMIS 진도관리 모듈의 구현이 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 수량산출정보 기반의 비용-일정 통합 진도측정방법과 비용-일정 통합관리에 필요한 PMIS 공통관리항목을 기반으로 한 PMIS 진도관리 개선 모듈을 제시하고자 한다.

공간자료와 지면모형을 이용한 면적증발산 추정 (Using Spatial Data and Land Surface Modeling to Monitor Evapotranspiration across Geographic Areas in South Korea)

  • Evapotranspiration (ET) is a critical component of the hydrologic cycle which influences economic activities as well as the natural ecosystem. While there have been numerous studies on ET estimation for homogeneous areas using point measurements of meteorological variables, monitoring of spatial ET has not been possible at landscape - or watershed - scales. We propose a site-specific application of the land surface model, which is enabled by spatially interpolated input data at the desired resolution. Gyunggi Province of South Korea was divided into a regular grid of 10 million cells with 30m spacing and hourly temperature, humidity, wind, precipitation and solar irradiance were estimated for each grid cell by spatial interpolation of synoptic weather data. Topoclimatology models were used to accommodate effects of topography in a spatial interpolation procedure, including cold air drainage on nocturnal temperature and solar irradiance on daytime temperature. Satellite remote sensing data were used to classify the vegetation type of each grid cell, and corresponding spatial attributes including soil texture, canopy structure, and phenological features were identified. All data were fed into a standalone version of SiB2(Simple Biosphere Model 2) to simulate latent heat flux at each grid cell. A computer program was written for data management in the cell - based SiB2 operation such as extracting input data for SiB2 from grid matrices and recombining the output data back to the grid format. ET estimates at selected grid cells were validated against the actual measurement of latent heat fluxes by eddy covariance measurement. We applied this system to obtain the spatial ET of the study area on a continuous basis for the 2001-2003 period. The results showed a strong feasibility of using spatial - data driven land surface models for operational monitoring of regional ET.

인체 부착형 UWB MIMO 안테나 설계 (Design of UWB MIMO Antenna for On-Body Application)

  • 본 논문에서는 인체 부착형 Ultra-Wideband(UWB) Multiple-Input Multiple-Output(MIMO) 안테나를 제안하고, 인체의 영향을 고려한 안테나 성능과 인체에 미칠 수 있는 영향에 대한 분석을 하였다. 제안된 안테나는 사각 모노폴 형태의 두 안테나와 격리도 특성을 개선하기 위하여 안테나 사이에 위치한 plunger형 isolator로 구성되어 있다. 안테나의 근거리장에 인체가 존재할 때, 인체가 안테나에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위하여 시뮬레이션과 측정을 수행하였다. 측정 결과, Specific Absorption Rate(SAR) 값은 공급전력 0.5 mW에서 안테나 1, 2 각각 0.132, 0.08 W/Kg으로 1 g 평균 전자파 흡수율을 1.6 W/kg으로 제한한 FCC 지침을 초과하지 않음을 알 수 있다.

고집광 태양열 시뮬레이터의 광학 특성 평가 (Optical Characterization of a High-Flux Solar Thermal Simulator)

  • A solar thermal simulator is suitable for indoor experiments of solar receivers and reactors when solar insolation and weather conditions are not favorable. Moreover, due to the easy control of electric power input, the solar thermal simulator allows the adjustment of power input incident on solar receivers and reactors and thus the implementation of accurate experiments. We manufactured a solar simulator, which is comprised of three sets of a xenon lamp and an elliptical reflector. In order to serve as a test facility, optical characterization of the solar simulator via radiation heat flux measurement is a critical prerequisite. We applied the flux mapping method to measuring the heat flux distribution of the three lamps. We presented the measurement results in terms of the heat flux distribution, the peak heat flux, the power distribution, the maximum power, and the efficiency for electric power conversion into radiation power. Characterization results show that our solar simulator provides the peak heat flux of $3,019kW/m^2$, the maximum power of 16.9 kW, and the conversion efficiency of 45%, additionally with a 10% operation margin for output increase.

스파스 매트릭스 컨버터의 간단한 개방 사고 검출 기법 (A Simple Open-Circuit Fault Detection Method for a Sparse Matrix Converter)

  • This paper presents a diagnostic method for a sparse matrix converter that detects faults in any single switch or a pair of switches. The sparse matrix converter is functionally equivalent to the standard matrix converter but has a reduced number of switches. The proposed diagnostic method is based in the measurement of input and output currents. The currents have respective characteristic according to the location of faulty switches. This method not only detects the switches of open-circuit fault but identifies the location of the faulty switching devices without complicated calculations. The simulation and experimental results verify that, based on the proposed method, the fault of sparse matrix converter can be easily and fast detected.
