가압하 석탄 촤의 $CO_2$ 가스화 반응성 연구 (Reactivity of Coal Char Gasification with $CO_2$ at Elevated Pressure)

  • 국내 발전용으로 수입되는 5개 석탄 촤의 이산화탄소 가스화 반응성을 전압력 0.5∼2.0 MPa, 반응온도 850∼100$0^{\circ}C$의 범위에서 가압열중량분석기를 사용하여 고찰하였다. 석탄 등급, 촤의 초기 물성, 그리고 압력이 반응속도에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다. 낮은 등급의 석탄 촤의 반응성이 높은 등급의 석탄 촤보다 좋았으며 이는 촤의 기공구조와 반응 표면적의 항으로 설명되었다. 기공특성 데이터중 대/중간 기공이 반응성에 미치는 영향이 켰으며 이는 반응가스가 촤 표면적으로 확산하는 통로를 제공하기 때문인 것으로 보인다. $CO_2$ 분압 0.18∼0.495 MPa 범위에서 촤의 반응속도는 분압에 비례하였으며 반응 차수는 약 0.4∼0.7의 범위에 있었다. 반응속도에 대한 전압력의 영향은 작은 것으로 나타났으며 미반응핵 모델에 근거한 5개 촤의 반응성 지수를 구하였다.

토사 주입과 배수 시 원형 아크릴 튜브 구조체의 압력 변화에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Pressures Changes on Infilling Soil and Geotextile Drain in Circular Acrylic Tube Structure)

  • A series of injection and drainage test were conducted on an circular acrylic tube to investigate the pressure generated by the accumulated fill materials inside a circular acrylic tube structure. The acrylic tube was filled by means of gravity filling with a slurry material having an average water content of 700%. The water head during the filling process was 1.8m and the bottom pressure during initial filling was 20.18kPa. The recorded stress at the sides of the acrylic tube was 17.89kPa during the filling process and was reduced to 13.58kPa during the leaving process. Continuous drainage of the acrylic tube has greatly influenced the stresses around the tube structure. As the water is gradually allowed to overflow, the generated pressure at the topmost pressure sensor of the tube was reduced further to 2.17kPa. Eventually, the initially liquid state slurry material transforms into plastic state after water has dissipated and substantial soil particles are deposited in the acrylic tube. The final water content of the deposited silt inside the acrylic tube after the test was 42%. It was found that the state of stresses(geo-static earth pressures) in the acrylic tube was anisotropic rather than isotropic.

대전 화강암의 투수계수에 미치는 구속압, 온도, 공극률의 영향: 실험적 연구 (Effect of Confining Pressure, Temperature, and Porosity on Permeability of Daejeon Granite: Experimental Study)

  • 고준위방사성폐기물 심층처분 시, 처분공 주변의 근계암반은 높은 지중응력과 재포화된 벤토나이트 완충재의 팽윤압, 방사성 원소 붕괴열의 영향을 받아 국부적으로 투수계수가 변화될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 국내 유력한 처분 대상 부지 암종 중의 하나인 결정질 경암으로서의 화강암을 대상으로, 실제 처분 환경에서 예상되는 다양한 구속압과 온도 조건을 적용하여 투수계수 변화 특성을 실험적인 방법을 통하여 고찰하고자 하였다. KURT 화강암 시험편 하나당 3개 이상의 정수압 조건에서 투수시험을 수행하여 구속압이 증가함에 따라 투수계수가 지수적으로 감소하는 관계를 도출하였다. 예상 최대 온도로 설정한 90℃ 이하 수준에서는 온도에 의한 투수계수 변화가 무시 가능할 정도로 작음을 확인하였다. 추가로 초기투수계수가 초기공극률의 거듭제곱에 비례하는 상관관계를 도출함으로써, 특정 공극률을 지닌 화강암이 일정 구속압 하에 있을 때 가지는 투수계수 값을 유추할 수 있었다.

인공위성 추진기관 설계변수 도출을 위한 Hydrazine 액체 추진제의 비정상 유동해석 (Unsteady Flow Analysis of Liquid Hydrazine Propellant for the Design Parameter Derivation of Satellite Propulsion System)

  • One of the way to derive design parameters of the fuel feeding system in satellite is to analyze unsteady flow of liquid propellant (hydrazine) in the propulsion system. During steady thruster firing the flow rate is constant: if a thruster valve is abruptly shut down among a sets of thrusters, pressure spikes much higher than the initial tank pressure occur. This renders the fuel flow unsteady, and the fluid pressure and flow rate to oscillate. If the pressure spikes are high enough, there are possibilities that propellant explosively decomposes, thruster valves are damaged, and adiabatic detonation of the hydrazine propellant is potentially incurred. Reflected shockwaves could also affect the calibration and operation of the pressure transducers. These necessitate the analysis of unsteady flow in the propulsion system design, and the calculation results obtained through some governing parameter variation are presented in this work.

  • This study is to investigate the pressure wave characteristics and the absorption of maximum and minimum pressure generated by instantaneous valve closure at the end of the straightening copper piping system with and without a water hammer arrester. Experiments were conducted under the following conditions : initial pressure 1~5 bar, flow velocity 0.6~3.0 m/s, water temperature $20^{\circ}C$ and air volume of water hammer arrester $80~180^cm^3$. Experimental results show that the optimum air volume of water hammer arrester is 110㎤.

고압하에서의 적층복합재의 기계적 거동에 대한 실험적 고찰 (Experimental Investigation on the Mechanial Behavior of Graphite/Epoxy Composites Under Hydrostatic Pressure)

  • In order to determine the effects of hydrostatic pressure on the mechanical behavior of graphite fiber reinforced composites, the modulus, fracture stress(maximum stress), and fracture strain of graphite/epoxy composites have been determined as a function of pressure. Composite specimens used in this study were 90-deg unidirectional and had a 60% fiber volume fraction. Compressive tests under five different pressure levels were conducted. The result showed the modulus measured from as initial slope of stress-strain curve increased bilinearly with pressure with a break at 200 MPa. It was also found that fracture stress and fracture strain increased in a linear fashion with pressure.

고압용 밸브시험기의 거동해석 (Behavior Analysis of High Pressure Valve Tester)

  • 밸브를 생산하는 공장에서 사용하는 기존의 밸브시험기는 압력을 수동 조작함으로서 정밀압력을 측정 할 수 없었다. 이를 개선하기 위하여 기존의 밸브시험기에 대하여 CATIA를 활용하여 설계하고 3차원 유한요소 해석코드인 ANSYS를 활용하여 설계된 밸브시험기에 대하여 거동해석을 수행하고 고압의 내부압력에 따른 내부누수, 총변형량, 변형률, 응력 등을 구하였다. 이러한 해석결과는 새로운 고압용 밸브시험기를 개발하기 위한 초기자료로 활용되었다.

  • This paper presents the deformation characteristics of the moving pressure plate in a balanced type vane pump that widely used automotive power steering systems. Moving pressure plate can control the clearance between rotor and plate in accordance with load pressure variation; it always guarantees that pump to have optimal volumetric efficiency. In this paper, firstly, we calculate the acting force on the pressure plate, which is used to determine the angular position and load condition for analyzing the deformation of pressure plate. Secondary, finite element method is used for the deformation analysis. As results of acting force analysis, it is found that maximum difference of forces occurs at angular position 28$\circ$ from the small arc center of cam ring and load pressure is a dominant factor to affect acting force variation. The deformation of pressure plate increases as load pressure increases. At high load pressure, the deformation of pressure plate becomes larger than the initial clearance between rotor and plate. Therefore, it is required to design the plate for controlling the deformation.

2단계 욕창 치유에 영향을 주는 요인 분석 (Factors affecting Healing of Stage 2 Pressure Ulcer)

  • Purpose: This study was designed to identify the factors affecting healing of Stage 2 pressure ulcer in an acute care facility in Korea. Methods: 286 Stage 2 pressure ulcers of 145 patients were examined. Data were collected in the period between October $1^{st}$, 2006 and September $30^{th}$, 2007. Data were analyzed with Kaplan-Meier survival analysis for cumulative recovery rate of Stage 2 pressure ulcers. Cox proportional hazard model was used to examine effects of multiple variables simultaneously. Results: Out of 286 initial Stage 2 pressure ulcers, 204 (71.3%) pressure ulcers healed completely. The median time to heal was 15 days according to Kaplan-Meier survival analysis. Cox proportional hazard model showed that the Stage 2 pressure ulcers healed more quickly when pressure redistribution surfaces were used (p<.001, HR=2.184), patients were administered with vitamins (p= .038, HR=1.451), and the size of the pressure ulcers were small (${\leq}3.0cm^2$, p= .006, HR=1.765). Conclusion: The factors contributing to the healing of Stage 2 pressure ulcer in an acute care setting were the application of pressure redistribution surface, small ulcer size (${\leq}3.0cm^2$), and the administration of vitamins.

원형가이드 설치에 따른 충돌제트/유출냉각에서 열/물질전달 특성 (Heat/Mass Transfer for Impingement/Effusion Cooling System with Circular Guide)

  • An experimental investigation was conducted to enhance the heat/mass transfer for impingement/effusion cooling system when the initial crossflow was formed. For the improvement of heat transfer, the circular guide is installed on the injection hole. At the fixed jet Reynolds number of 10,000, the measurements were carried out for blowing ratios ranging from 0.5 to 1.5. The local heat/mass transfer coefficients on the effusion plate are measured using a naphthalene sublimation method. The result presents that the circular guide protects the injected jet from the initial crossflow, increasing the heat/mass transfer. The heat transfer of stagnation region is hardly changed regardless of the blowing ratio. The secondary peak is obviously formed by flow transition to turbulent flow. At high blowing ratio of 1.5, the circular guide produces $26{\sim}30%$ augmentation on the averaged heat/mass transfer while the case without circular guide leads to the low and non-uniform heat/mass transfer. With the increased heat/mass transfer, the installation of circular guide is accompanied by the increase of pressure loss in the channel. However, the pressure drop caused by the circular guide is lower than that for other cooling technique with the circular pin fin.
