The purpose of this study is to develop the group program model for reinforcing family relations of single-mother families as one approach to family welfare service. As previous research findings about problems of single parent families were reviewed and the framework for the program development was identified, a 6 sessions group program was planned and applied to 9 single-mother families from June 2nd to July 7th. Program evaluation questionnaire, Scales measuring powerlessness and FACESIII for family relations, social support network tool, and group process recording were used for the evaluation of this program. The participants evaluated this program as very supportive, useful, and educational. The powerlessness was reduced in a statistically meaningful way before and after the program and the result was found to be maintained for 4 months in the follow-up session. The family relations according to FACES III were mostly balanced and didn't show some significant change after the termination of this program. The single mothers had little concrete supports from others, if any, had some from relatives. They rather had to give supports for the other family members and reciprocally gave and took emotional or informational supports with friends or neighbors. Based on these results, the 2 step model consisted of brief group program and long term support group was developed and the practical methods were suggested for the single-mother families with low income.

This study examined the influence of adolescents' perception of empathy and peer support on happiness. The subjects of this study were 113 adolescents from U-city. Frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed using the SPSS 22.0 program. First, in the effect of the empathy ability perceived by adolescents on the feeling of happiness, the sub-factors of the empathy ability, such as cognitive empathy and emotional empathy, had a significant positive effect on happiness. In particular, the cognitive empathy factor of the empathy ability has more influence on happiness. Second, in the relationship between the adolescents' peer support and feelings of happiness, the sub-factors of peer support, emotional support, and instrumental support had a significant positive effect on happiness. On the other hand, the sub-factors of peer support, informational support, and evaluative support did not affect happiness significantly. In particular, the emotional support factors have more influence on happiness than the instrumental support factors. This means that a higher level of empathy and peer support perceived by adolescents results in a higher feeling of happiness. This study provides basic data for preparing educational programs to improve adolescents' happiness
In this paper, we studied about method that instructor and learner execute teaching-learning activities and about the educational effects of a web based practice instruction. And, in practice instruction, we examined about role and influence of instructor, learner and manager. This study shows the method that instructor and learner execute teaching-learning activities and interaction activities in a "construction of e-business system" curriculum to support the informational education for an industrial workers. The research subject was the 15 industrial workers who enrolled a informational instruction coulee provided for two weeks by kimpo college, As a research method, workers survey, interview, and profile analysis were used for this study. The result of this study show that interaction between instructor, learner and manager was not executed actively, but the manner of lecturing about interest of learner, usage of email, question and answer of bulletin board, online-practice were brought an effect on interaction of learner activities and the educational effects.l effects.

Public library users' perception of librarians can be an important aspect in improving the public library uses and the quality of informn services. Thus it is necessary to identify what factors affect users' perceptions of librarians. This research empirically investigated users' general perceptions of librarians and the factors affecting them through a survey. As a result, it was found that the use of library collections, library facilities, and participation in club activities through the library affect the formation of a positive perception of librarians. In addition, the roles of the librarian are expanding from informational activities to supporting social activities. In contrast, the factors of direct interaction with the librarian, including participation in public library programs, circulating library collections, and communication with librarian, do not have a significant effect on the formation of the perception of librarian. Thus librarians need to consider library users more substantially and to support them in various ways.

As the reduction of information exposure threats by organization insiders contributes to achieving information security(IS) goals, organizations are establishing strict IS policies applicable to insiders and increasing investment in IS systems. However, since IS incidents cause damage to an organization even by malicious information exposure by one person, psychological support for strengthening IS compliance behavior by insiders. This study aims to confirm how the uncertain organizational environment related to IS affects individual IS-related behavior. We surveyed insiders of organizations operating IS policies and tested the hypothesis using 440 samples. As a result, IS technology and communication uncertainty reduced IS voice behavior through IS prospective anxiety, and individuals' susceptibility to information influence moderated the relationship between IS technology, communication, and prospective anxiety and IS voice behavior. Our results suggest the necessity and direction of supplementing the uncertain IS environment in practice.
Purpose - This study is to propose discriminative management strategies to long-term care facilities based on the empirical analysis after reviewing the effects of social support, perceived by long-term care facility employees, to service orientation. Research design, data, and Methodology - The research model designed social support, job stress, organizational commitment, and service orientation. The survey collected data from 453 customers in a long-term care facility in jeju. The SPSS 18.0 package was used for analysis. Results - First, social support for long-term care facility employees has a negative(-) effect to job stress. Test results, social support factors except appraisal support had a negative impact on job stress. Second, social support has a positive(+) effect to organizational commitment. Test results, informational support, tangible support and appraisal support had significant effects on organizational commitment. However, emotional support had a positive impact on affective commitment and normative commitment. Third, social support has a positive(+) effect to service orientation. Test results had a positive impact. Fourth, job stress has a negative(-) effect to organizational commitment. In the test results, employee's continuance commitment and normative commitment had significant negative effects in job stress. However, affective commitment had no significant impact. Fifth, job stress has a negative(-) effect to service orientation. Test results showed a negative impact. Conclusions - The study implies the following. First, that there should be a change in the social perception of long-term care facilities. 'Long-Term Care Insurance for The Elderly' was enacted to emphasize this responsibility for the elderly problems as a new system. Enactment of this Act was expected to improve the quality of life of the people by stabilizing the elderly life and reducing the burden of families. Therefore, long-term care facility system should be as efficient as possible for making plans for systematic and organizational support. Second, the efforts of facility managers to minimize job stress of employees is necessary. Accordingly, performing spontaneous work is required for a comfortable working environment and management. Third, the systematic education and training to employees for service oriented behavior of the facility will be required in the long term.

Few studies have examined the relationship between social support and stages of adoption of cancer screening. Here we investigated associations between both structural and functional aspects of social support and stages of adoption of gastric cancer screening in the general population of Korea. The study population was derived from the 2011 Korean National Cancer Screening Survey (KNCSS), an annual cross-sectional survey that uses nationally representative random sampling to investigate cancer screening rates. Data were analyzed from 3,477 randomly selected respondents aged 40-74 years. Respondents were classified according to their stage of adoption of gastric cancer screening: precontemplation (13.2%), contemplation (18.0%), action/maintenance (56.1%), relapse risk (8.5%), and relapse stage (4.1%). Respondents with larger social networks were more likely to be in the contemplation/action/maintenance, or the relapse risk/relapse stages versus the precontemplation stage (OR=1.91, 95%CI: 1.52-2.91; p for tend=0.025). Emotional and instrumental supports were not associated with any stage of adoption of gastric cancer screening. However, respondents who reported receiving sufficient informational support were more likely to be in the relapse risk/relapse stages versus the precontemplation, or the contemplation/action/maintenance stage (p for trend=0.016). Interventions involving interactions between social network members could play an important role in increasing participation in gastric cancer screening.
The purpose of this research is to examine childcare teacher's cognition of human right awareness for handicapped children and consciousness of social integration. The subjects were 209 kindergarten teachers in G city. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, correlation, and regression analysis with SPSS ver. 14.0. The results are as follows: Among the childcare teacher's awareness about children with disabilities human right, awareness of right to survive, right to be protected, right to participate, and right to development had direct effects on their consciousness of social integration. Among the social supports influenced by childcare teacher's awareness of human right, informational support and material support had both direct and indirect effects on their consciousness of social integration. Therefore, as childcare teachers' awareness of human right is an important factor for their consciousness of social integration, a systemic human right education for human right awareness should be provided, the necessity of establishing various social support system should be recognized to foster the social environment of respecting young children's human right, and human right awareness should be practiced into action in daily life, in order to help childcare teachers to develop as the main agents of children's human right.

Purpose: Purpose of this study was to investigate the status of depression in academic high school students and path analysis model for exploring the mediating role of entrapment to depression in relation to academic stress and perceived social support. Methods: Measurements were four reliable questionnaires measuring academic stress, social support, entrapment, and depression. Data were collected from students in 17 high schools in Seoul. Results: Students (n=5,346) completing the questionnaires indicated depression & entrapment from academic stress. Depression was more prevalent in girls, those whose parents' household income was less than two million won, who did not live with father or mother or both due to divorce, separation, or death, and those who smoked or used alcohol. Entrapment was more prevalent in students similar to cases of depression and in seniors. According to the proposed path model, 48.6% of depression was explained by academic stress, social support, and entrapment. The indirect effect of entrapment as a mediator between academic stress and depression was verified and larger than the direct effect of academic stress on depression. Conclusion: Considering levels of depression and entrapment demonstrated by these students, better mental health programs with diverse strategies should be developed for their psychological well-being.

This study examined the concern levels of primary school teachers regarding transitional education from early childhood phase to primary education. Concern Based Adoption Model (CBAM) instrument of Hall and Hord (2006) was used to survey 104 primary school teachers. The results indicated that the majority of respondents' concern level was at 'informational' level (stage 1). And first peak of concern level was at 'unconcerned' level (stage 0). The first-second peak analysis of stage 0 (unconcerned) group indicated that there were 5 types of groups and each had distinguished features. Finally there were statistical differences at the unconcerned stage by in-service training and career of the first-year class. A discussion of the limitations of this study and implications for teacher education programs and operational support systems were suggested.
