A system Integrator (SI) makes a consortium with multiple providers of hardware and software solutions to sell an information system. The success of information systems (IS) mainly depends on establishing a trustful relationship between SI supplier and client, and delivering high-quality system. However, the determinants of trust and system quality have been investigated mostly from the perspective of s ystem buyers rather than system sellers. This study examines the influence of key variables that SI can handle to improve trust and system quality which finally leads to user satisfaction toward SI. This study adopts resource complementarity, user participation and information sharing as the key variable then builds a research model to explain their relationships to user satisfaction. Respondents are recruited from 251 firms that have built any information system in recent two years in South Korea. Results of partial least square (PLS) modeling analysis show that both resource complementarity and information sharing have positive relationships with trust. Also the relationships between trust, system quality and user satisfaction toward S.I are supported. In addition, the mediating roles of trust and system quality are identified. We discussed some of the key managerial and theoretical implications of the paper and suggested further research directions.
The development of information networks and computer technology has become a foundation to open up a sea of information and knowledge. The recent popularization of smart devices has been used as a tool to easily obtain the desired information and knowledge. In this paper, a knowledge-sharing system using information and social networks based on smart devices is proposed. The proposed system consists of functions of an Internet information search for user queries, accumulated knowledge, and social network response from acquaintances. An evaluation for user satisfaction was conducted to analyze the efficacy of the proposed system. According to the experiment, the knowledge-sharing system using smart device information results in significant satisfaction compared to the general information search engines.

The advent of location-based social networks (LBSNs), and the pervasive use of smartphones have allowed individuals to easily inform their status through locational information. This led to a new trend in social media: to upload geotagged photos that illustrate the location of the images and then share them with others. In this circumstance, the current study aims to examine the use of geotags on Instagram. Further, the motivations for using geotags as well as the relationship among the motivation, satisfaction, and location information sharing behavior are analyzed. The online survey was conducted on 411 respondents of Hong Kong who are active Instagram users. Based on uses and gratification theory and goal theory, the users' motivations and goals for utilizing geotags were divided into mainly two categories; task-involved and self-involved goals. Then, four different motivations (contribution, memory aid, showing off, and reputation gaining) were further examined. The result indicated that contribution, memory aid, and reputation gaining were the goals and motivation for the users to utilize geotags on Instagram, having a positive impact on satisfaction. However, a positive relationship between showing off and geotag satisfaction was not supported. Among four different factors, memory aid was found to have the strongest influence on geotagging satisfaction. The result of testing the relationship between geotag satisfaction and further location information sharing behavior also turned out to have a positive relationship. The implications and limitations of findings are also discussed in the study.
This paper classifies the success factors of collaboration system in the shipbuilding industry. We propose the structural model that identifies the relationship between the success factors and organizational performance. To test empirically the relationship between the factors, we developed the measurement of each factors. This paper has examined the relationship between the independent variables and the mediating variables, also has examined the relationship between the parameters and a final dependent variable. The independent variables are as follows, (1) quality of system including reliability, flexibility, and accessibility, (2) the quality of information including contents, expressiveness, and (3) the partner relationship including the information sharing and the compatibility of strategies. The mediating variables are user involvement, parter trust, and user satisfaction. The final dependent variable is business performance. The hypotheses test proved that the system quality significantly affect user satisfaction, the information quality positively influence on the user participation, and the information sharing and strategic fit of partner relationship positively affect partner trust. Also, the user participation and partner trust significantly affect user satisfaction. Finally, the user participation, user satisfaction, and partner trust have a decisive effect on the organizational performance. The results of hypothesis test verified that the quality of information and system, also partner relationship are important to operate successfully the collaboration system in the shipbuilding industry. Also, the mediating variables are important to explain the structural relationship between the independent variables and organizational performance.

The objective of this study is to examine the relationship between attitude in digital usage and life satisfaction level of the middle-aged people and older adults, and to analyze Sequential Mediation Effects of online networking activity and information producing and sharing in the online context. To achieve the main objectives, we conducted Hayeys'(2013) Process for SPSS Macro. The followings are the results of the study: First, there is a strong relationship between the attitude towards digital usage and the life satisfaction. Second, the results showed that impact of attitude in digital usage on life satisfaction among the older people is 0.291 unit higher, when they are engaged both in online networking activity and digital information production/sharing activities compared to involved in online networking activity alone. The results of the study is meaningful in that they can be used as a baseline data for reconsideration of digital usage and life satisfaction of the older adults, by providing comprehensive examination of relationship among attitude in digital usage, life satisfaction, online network activities, and digital information production·sharing activities of the older adults.

A problem related to deployment of femtocells is how to manage access of users to radio resources. On one hand, all resources of the femtocell can be reserved for users belonging to a closed subscriber group (CSG), which is a set of users defined by a femtocell subscriber. This approach, known as closed access, however, increases interference to users not included in the CSG as those users do not have a permission to access this femtocell. Contrary, resources can be shared by all users with no priority in an open access mode. In this case, the femtocell subscriber shares radio as well as backhaul resources with all other users. Thus, throughput and quality of service of the subscriber and the CSG users can be deteriorated. To satisfy both the CSG as well as non-CSG users, a hybrid access is seen as a compromise. In this paper, we propose a new approach for sharing radio resources among all users. As in common cases, the CSG users have a priority for usage of a part of resources while rest of the resources is shared by all users proportionally to their requirements. As the simulation results show, the proposed resource sharing scheme significantly improves throughput of the CSG users and their satisfaction with granted bitrates. At the same time, throughput and satisfaction of the non-CSG users is still guaranteed roughly at the same level as if conventional sharing schemes are applied.
Purpose: The franchise system started by Singer Sewing Machine in the US is acting as a national economic growth engine in terms of job creation and economic growth. In China, the franchise system was introduced in the mid-1980s. And since joining the WTO, it has grown by 5-6% every year. However, compared to the growth rate of franchises, studies on shared growth between the chain headquarters and franchisees were insufficient. Accordingly, recent studies related to shared growth between the chain headquarters and franchisees have been active in China. The purpose of this study is to examine the knowledge transfer system between the knowledge creation, knowledge sharing, and the use of knowledge by franchise chain headquarters in China. In addition, the relationship between franchise satisfaction and performance is identified. Research design, data, and methodology: The data were collected from franchise stores in Sichuan, China, and were conducted with the help of ○○ Incubation, a Sichuan Province-certified incubator. From November 2020 to January 2021, 350 copies of the questionnaire were distributed in China, and 264 copies were returned. Of these, 44 copies with insincere answers and response errors were excluded, and 222 copies were used for analysis. The data were analyzed with SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 22.0 statistical packages. Result: The results of this study are as follows. First, knowledge creation has been shown to have a statistically significant impact on knowledge sharing and knowledge utilization. In particular, the effectiveness of knowledge creation was higher in knowledge sharing than in knowledge utilization. And we can see that knowledge sharing also has a statistically significant e ffect on knowledge utilization. Second, knowledge sharing was not significant for transaction satisfaction and business performance, and knowledge utilization was significant for transaction satisfaction and business performance. These results can be said to mean less interdependence of the Chinese franchise system. Finally, transaction satisfaction was statistically significant to business performance. The purpose of this study was to examine the importance of knowledge management to secure long-term competitive advantage for Chinese franchises. This study shows that knowledge sharing is important for long-term franchise growth. And we can see that there is a lack of knowledge sharing methods in the case of franchises in China. I n addition, it was found that the growth of Chinese franchises requires systematization of communication, information sharing measures and timing, help from chain headquarters, and mutual responsibility awareness.

This study is an investigation into the factors affecting patient dissatisfaction among Saudi hospitals. The selected factors considered for analysis are security of information sharing, operational practices, disruptive technologies, and the ease of use of EHR patient information management systems. From the literature review section, it was clear that hardly any other studies have embraced these concepts in one as was intended by this study. The theories that the study heavily draws from are the service dominant logic and the feature integration theory. The study surveyed 350 respondents from three large major hospitals in three different metropolitan cities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This sample came from members of the three hospitals that were willing to participate in the study. The number 350 represents those that successfully completed the online questionnaire or the limited physical questionnaires in time. The study employed the structural equation modelling technique to analyze the associations. Findings suggested that security of information sharing had a significant direct effect on patient satisfaction. Operational practice positively mediated the effect of security of information sharing on patient dissatisfaction. However, ease of use failed to significant impact this association. The study concluded that to improve patient satisfaction, Saudi hospitals must work on their systems to reinforce them against the active threats on the privacy of patients' data by leveraging disruptive technology. They should also improve their operational practices by embracing quality management techniques relevant to the healthcare sector.

The purpose of this study is to analyze service quality factors that affect user satisfaction of NDSL Open Service (NOS) and to improve standards of open service for sharing information through the user satisfaction survey. User satisfaction indexes were developed to measure the all aspects of the NOS services. The quality index, satisfaction index, and performance index were identified in this survey. According to the survey findings, the levels of social quality and social satisfaction are relatively high, this shows the positive evaluation and expectation of researchers for open services. However, relatively low level is identified in area of service process quality. Therefore, NOS requires method to help easily take advantage of OpenAPI and strategy to increase service process satisfaction and service environment satisfaction.

Our society has changed from an industrial society to a knowledge - based society, and the need for new knowledge creation activities through the convergence of various knowledge is emphasized. In accordance with these changes, universities aiming at nurturing human resources for society have sought new approaches and changes. The discussion of various curriculum for the future talent training in the university is aimed at the goal of developing problem solving ability irrespective of the subject of education or major. In this study, we tried to show that computational thinking ability can be improved by strengthening creative team activities by combining design thinking method in computer curriculum of general education course of university. To do this, we conducted a design thinking team project for students of computer general education course at G university in Gyeongnam province and conducted a survey. The results of the questionnaire were verified by statistical methods. The variables of this study satisfied both the validity and the reliability. Multiple regression analysis showed that knowledge sharing, team activity satisfaction, and design thinking project satisfaction factors all affect computing thinking ability.
