  • Recently, study on RFID Tag Searching technique which is used to find a specific tag in particular tag group were developed continuously. RFID tag searching technique can be applicate in various fields such as product management, finding children, and electronic anklet. To implement a RFID tag search system, RFID tag searching protocol should be considered various security threats such as reader and tag tracking, privacy, etc. For implementing a safe RFID tag lookup system, it is important to consider the potential security threats such as the tag tracking problem, and the privacy of the owner of the tag reader problem. There exists an RFID tag lookup system that satisfies a few security requirements, but the privacy of the owner of the tag reader problem has still been left unsolved, and even if it were solved, it requires a considerable amount of cryptographic operations to be performed which results in a decrease in performance. This paper proposes a system that does not degrade the performance while solving the privacy of the owner of the tag reader problem.

  • It is currently undergoing the fourth industrial revolution, which is the convergence of ICT and manufacturing, connecting both industrial equipment and production processes to one network and communicating with each other. The fact that they are connected to one network has the advantage of management, but there is a risk of security. In particular, Wi-Fi can be easily accessed by outsiders through a software change of the MAC address or password exposures. In this paper, by applying the method of Beacon using a Bluetooth Low Energy Add in Bluetooth 4.0, we propose a system of black-box approach to secure connections to wireless Internet, users do not have to know the password. We also implemented the proposed system using the raspberry pi and verified the effectiveness of a real-time system by testing the communication.

  • In this paper, we design and implement an illegal entry detection system which efficiently can detect illegal intruders applying image processing technique on the perceived value of the infrared sensor and acquired image from two-way wireless camera(DRC) for prevention of damage caused by theft and the ratio of security in the security of the square such as livestock, agricultural products, and logistics warehouse. At first, the proposed system acquires the image from wireless camera when infrared sensor detect the location of illegal intruders. and then, the system process to determine movement by applying image process technique with acquired image. Finally, we send the detected and analyzed the results and the final image to security company and mobile device of owner.

  • A group key agreement protocol allows a group of user to share a key which may later be used to achieve certain cryptographic goals. In this paper, we propose a new scalable two-round ID-based group key agreement protocol which would be well fit to a Pay-TV system, additionally. to the fields of internet stock quotes, audio and music deliveries, software updates and the like. Our protocol improves the three round poop key agreement protocol of Nam et al., resulting in upgrading the computational efficiency by using the batch verification technique in pairing-based cryptography. Also our protocol simplifies the key agreement procedures by utilizing ID-based system. We prove the security of our protocol under the Computational Diffie-Hellman assumption and the Bilinear Decisional Diffie-Hellman assumption. Also we analyze its efficiency.

  • Fast diffusion of personal computer and network, and developed security technology are augmenting specific gravity of convenient and safe electronic voting system supplementing much problems of existent off-line vote form. But in spite of enlargement of these weight, much limitations are extravagant. Specially, problem that secure voter\`s anonymousness and accuracy of poll can be important urea that judge if electronic voting system can be applied actually. Also, problems such as buying and selling of vote remain to subject that must solve yet. In this paper, we introduce items that is considered to design the safe electronic voting system, and present limitation of electronic polling system announced in [1]. And we propose improvement way. Improved protocol keeping advantages that is presented in [1], designed to keep away voter\`s anonymousness defamation by conspiracy of Election Administration Committee and Totaling Committee, and block unlawful election intervention as original.

  • The proliferation of the Internet and the rapid progress of wire/wireless communication technology makes security of digital images more and more important since the exchanges of digital images occur more and more frequently. And as the tight relationship between chaos theory and cryptography, many researches for development of new encryption systems based on chaotic maps have been widely progressed recently. In this paper, we propose a digital image encryption system based on both one-dimensional PLCM(Piecewise Linear Chaotic Map) and two-dimensional baker map. This proposed system is a product cipher that contains a perturbance-based chaotic stream cipher based on ID PLCM and a chaotic block cipher based on 2D baker map and is very high secure and easily implementable cipher having both a good confusion property and a good diffusion property. And with test results, we showed this system is very secure against statistical attacks.

  • Traitor tracing schemes deter traitors from sharing their private keys by tracing at least one of the subscribers who were implicated in the construction of a pirate decoder. In general, it is assumed that the system manager in the scheme generates and distributes the subscribers' private key. But if the system manager knows the subscribers' private keys, he cannot convince a third party of a certain subscriber's piracy. To solve this problem, the system manager should not know the whole parts of subscribers' private keys and this leads to researches of asymmetric schemes. Moreover for the purpose of enhancing subscribers' privacy, there were two proposals of introducing anonymity onto asymmetric traitor tracing schemes, but one of them turned out to be a failure. In this paper, we point out that the other proposal also has flaws. We consider how to introduce anonymity to traitor tracing schemes, as a result, we suggest a new framework which is practical. We also construct a scheme by using an anonymous credential system and an asymmetric traitor tracing scheme. We prove the security of our scheme and consider the typical applications.

  • Messages exchanged among vehicles must be authenticated in order to provide collision avoidance and cooperative driving services in VANET. However, digitally signing the messages can violate the privacy of users. Therefore, we require authentication systems that can provide conditional anonymity. Recently, Zhang et al. proposed conditionally anonymous authentication system for VANET using tamper-resistant hardware. In their system, vehicles can generate identity-based public keys by themselves and use them to sign messages. Moreover, they use batch verification to effectively verify signed messages. In this paper, we provide amelioration to Zhang et al.'s system in the following respects. First, we use a more efficient probabilistic signature scheme. Second, unlike Zhang et al., we use a security proven batch verification scheme. We also provide effective solutions for key revocation and anonymity revocation problems.

  • With the advent of the smart home era, equipment that provides confidentiality or performs authentication exists in various places in real life. Accordingly security against physical attacks is required for encryption equipment and authentication equipment. In particular, fault injection attack that artificially inject a fault from the outside to recover a secret key or bypass an authentication process is one of the very threatening attack methods. Fault sources used in fault injection attacks include lasers, electromagnetic, voltage glitches, and clock glitches. Fault injection attacks are classified into single fault injection attacks and multiple fault injection attacks according to the number of faults injected. Existing multiple fault injection systems generally use a single fault source. The system configured to inject a single source of fault multiple times has disadvantages that there is a physical delay time and additional equipment is required. In this paper, we propose a multiple fault injection system using heterogeneous fault sources. In addition, to show the effectiveness of the proposed system, the results of a multiple fault injection attack against Riscure's Piñata board are shown.

  • Front Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) or Smart Cruise Control (SCC) is installed in a modern vehicle, and the amount of data exchange between ECUs increases rapidly. Therefore, Automotive Ethernet, especially SOME/IP, which supports wide bandwidth and two-way communication, is widely adopted to overcome the bandwidth limitation of traditional CAN communication. SOME/IP is a standard protocol compatible with various automobile operating systems, and improves connectivity between components in the vehicle. However, no encryption or authentication process is defined in the SOME/IP protocol itself. Therefore, there is a need for a security study on the SOME/IP protocol. This paper proposes a deep learning-based intrusion detection system in SOME/IP and performs six attacks to confirm the performance of the intrusion detection system.
