The Kaes$\breve{o}$ng Industrial Park(KIP) is being developed in the region, as a collaborative economic development with South Korea. KIP construction started in June 2003, and in August 2003 North and South Korea ratified four tax and accountancy agreements to support investment. Pilot phase construction was completed in june 2004, and the KIP opened in December 2004. In the KIP's initial phase, 15 South Korean companies constructed manufacturing facilities. Three of the companies had started operations by march 2005. First phase plans envisaged participation by 250 South Korean companies from 2006, employing 100,000 people by 2007. Based on the 2009, 117 factories were employing approximately 41,000 north' workers and 1,000 south' staff. The industrial park is seen as a way for South Korean companies to employ cheap labour that is educated, skilled and speaks Korean which would make communication considerably easier. However the zone still faces a number of obstacles. In the view point of these obstacles, especially this study focused on the complementary issues for the improvement of trade goods management systems between South and North Korea. At the result of this study, it is suggested that, i) to establish portal system based on single window, ii) strengthen user-interface hands of logistic facilities, iii) stable foundations of trade and/or logistic management systems, iv) networking of IT infrastructure with South and North Korea, and so on.

This study examines the current state of library related data opened through public data portals, and analyzes how much data is being utilized according to the type of releasing organization, and open level. In addition, we analyzed the subject cluster of data and the centrality of data by performing PathFinder Network analysis using keywords assigned to data by dividing the releasing subject into local government and national/public institutions. Based on this, the subject area of library - related data disclosed by local governments and national/public organizations is understood. And identify the main open body that should be opened first by linking with data utilization analysis result and then suggest implications for future improvement in connection with library big data business.

This study aims to perform an evaluation of classification systems provided by major Korean search portals, Naver, Nate, Daum, and Yahoo-Korea. These classification systems are evaluated in terms of the consistency of classification system, logicality of classification system, ease of interface, clarity of category names, order of category and site listing, and hierarchical structure. The results of this study show that each search portal provides separate classification systems for their services. These results imply that it is crucial for search portals to implement a common classification system and a common interface for their services. This study could contribute to the development and improvement of portals' classification systems.

In this paper, we propose an automatic hierarchical organ segmentation method on abdominal CT images. First, similar atlases are selected using bone-based similarity registration and similarity of liver, kidney, and pancreas area. Second, each abdominal organ is roughly segmented using image-based similarity registration and intensity-based locally weighted voting. Finally, the segmented abdominal organ is refined using mask-based affine registration and intensity-based locally weighted voting. Especially, gallbladder and pancreas are hierarchically refined using location information of neighbor organs such as liver, left kidney and spleen. Our method was tested on a dataset of 12 portal-venous phase CT data. The average DSC of total organs was $90.47{\pm}1.70%$. Our method can be used for patient-specific abdominal organ segmentation for rehearsal of laparoscopic surgery.

This study aims to investigate current status of mobile search services of Korean search portals, and analyze mobile unified search contents of Naver and Google Korea. In particular, this study analyzed characteristics of mobile unified search such as number of retrieved documents, collection distribution, and yearly distribution. Also, documents were evaluated in terms of relevance, credibility, and currency. This study compared quality of Naver's unified Web best and unified Web, and Google's best Web documents and Web documents. The correlation between document's ranking and document's relevance was analyzed. The results of this study can be implemented to the portal's effective development of mobile search service.

본 연구에서는 유비쿼터스 환경에서 시시각각으로 변하는 고객의 요구사항을 만족시키기 위해 상호 협력을 시도하는 다중 에이전트들이 의사결정을 수행할 경우 발생할 수 있는 충돌의 해결을 지원하는 지능적인 온톨로지 관리 모듈(intelligent-Ontology Management Module, i-OMM)과 다중에이전트 관리 모듈(Multi-agent Coordination Module, MACM)을 포함하는 u-DSS 포털을 제안한다. 개별 에이전트들은 온톨로지와 문제해결을 위한 프로시저 등을 이용해 자신의 문제를 해결하는 것을 기본으로 한다. 그러나 다른 에이전트들과 협력을 통해 문제를 해결해야 할 경우에는 먼저 개별 에이전트들이 보유한 각 온톨로지의 통합 및 데이터간의 충돌 해결이 요구된다. i-OMM은 개별 에이전트들이 보유하고 있는 이질적인 온톨로지를 통합하여, 문제해결을 위한 하나의 통합된 새로운 동적 온톨로지 뷰(integrated ontology view, IOV)의 생성을 지원한다. 온톨로지 통합과제에서 생성된 IOV는 사례로 저장되고 유사한 문제 해결에 재사용된다. MACM은 고객 에이전트들의 요구사항 변화에 따라 관련 개별 에이전트들 간의 데이터 충돌을 해결하여 에이전트들의 의사결정과정을 지원한다. 따라서 i-OMM과 MACM을 이용한 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 분산된 에이전트들의 협력적 문제 해결을 지원하는 시스템을 유비쿼터스 의사결정지원 시스템 포탈(ubiquitous decision support system, u-DSS Portal)이라고 지칭한다. 본 연구에서 제안된 알고리즘의 활용 대상은 고객, 판매자, 제조업체, 및 배송업체의 배송차량들의 에이전트들로 구성된 u-fulfillment 시스템으로 한다.

This study aims to perform an evaluation of web-based encyclopedia services provided by major Korean search portals, Navel, Yahoo-Korea, Empas, and Daum. These encyclopedia services are evaluated in terms of the relevance, up-to-dateness, and multimedia features of search results. In conducting this study, real queries that real users submitted were used. This study also compares functional characteristics of these encyclopedia services. The results of this study can be implemented to the development and improvement of portal's encyclopedia services. Users can refer to the results of this study in choosing encyclopedia services from search portals.

This study examined the main concepts of SOA and Web Services, and conducted technical analysis of major Web Services protocols such as SOAP, REST, SRW/U, and OAI-PMH that realize SOA, and suggested examples of SOAP and REST based Web Services establishments in foreign and domestic libraries respectively. In addition, it introduced application examples of Library 2.0 using Web 2.0 technology in foreign and domestic libraries and suggested how to apply SOA based Web Services protocol in Library 2.0. Finally, it proposed how to put Library 2.0 into practice applying meta-searching system integrating library OPAC, online bookstores, web portal sites and library union catalogs using REST based Open API.

그리드 어플리케이션을 분산, 병렬 환경에서 효과적으로 만들기 위해, 그리드 포탈시스템인 Workflow based grid portal for problem Solving Environment(WISE)를 개발해왔다. WISE는 Globus Toolkit 2를 기반으로 그리드 워크플로우 기술을 사용하여 사용자가 좀 더 쉽게 그리드 어플리케이션을 프로그래밍 할 수 있는 환경을 제공한다. 그러나 현재 그리드 기술은 서비스 기반 구조(Open Grid Service Architecture)로 변화하고 있고 WISE도 기술적 흐름에 따라 그것을 충족시킬 수 있도록 변화해야 한다. 그래서 서비스 기반 구조에 대응할 수 있는 워크플로우 엔진을 새로 설계하여 WISE에 적용하고자 한다. 새로 설계한 시스템은 Service Oriented Workflow System on Grid(SOWS-G)이다. 이것은 계산량이 많은 문제에 대해 효과적으로 분산, 병렬 실행을 가능하게 하고, 다양한 워크플로우 패턴을 지원하며, 웹 서비스를 이용할 수 있도록 설계하였다. 이 논문에서는 SOWS-G를 서비스 기반 그리드 환경을 지원하는 Globus Toolkit 3를 이용하여 설계한 구조를 살펴보고 웹서비스를 이용할 수 있도록 추가된 기능들에 대해서 설명하고자한다.

In this paper we evaluate the Korean e-government portal and linked web sites, based on usability. We pick a set of 18 representative government sites, and consider two approaches of type-I and type-II testing with different questionnaires. We ask users two questions at each site, regarding simple facts. We count a task as successful if the user find the right answer for fact questions. In type-I testing, after users have finished working with a site, we give them a post-test questionnaire asking them to rate the site in 16 different areas, in order to calculate the site rating. In type-II testing, we investigate page design, contents design, and site design of the web sites.
