  • Nowadays, users' reviews and feedback on e-commerce sites stored in text create a huge source of information for analyzing customers' experience with goods and services provided by a business. In other words, collecting and analyzing this information is necessary to better understand customer needs. In this study, we first collected a corpus with 99,322 customers' comments and opinions in English. From this corpus we chose the best number of topics (K) using Perplexity and Coherence Score measurements as the input parameters for the model. Finally, we conducted an experiment using the latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA) topic model with K coefficients to explore the topic. The model results found hidden topics and keyword sets with high probability that are interesting to users. The application of empirical results from the model will support decision-making to help businesses improve products and services as well as business management and development in the field of hotel services.

  • The purpose of this paper is to explore ways to prepare for the high school credit system in the home economics educational community through the case of high school credit system research school operation. To this end, the operation process of H high school in Gangwon-do, which operated a high school credit system in 2019, was monitored for 5 months, and surveys and interviews were conducted with students, parents, and teachers to determine the operation of the curriculum. Suggestions based on the case of H high school's operation of the high school credit system for home economics educational community are as follows. Home economics teachers should make active efforts to provide attractive and meaningful home economics lessons to their students by improving instruction and assessment, and implementing a variety of elective courses within the subject of home economics, including collaborative online curricula. Home economics teacher communities and related associations should build a solid network that connects local home economics subject research groups, share information related to curriculum operation, and use it as a channel for disseminating class research results. Home economics teacher training institutions should innovate the curriculum to help prospective teachers develop the ability to guide multiple classes in line with the changing teacher training policy, and develop and provide high-quality online and offline programs for field teacher re-education.

  • We introduce a simple theoretical model to analyze the welfare impact of a competition policy in the natural gas market in South Korea. An incumbent monopolistic firm currently owns essential facilities, but the competition policy mandates that the firm provide open access to any entrant firm, charging an access fee. When no regulation is imposed on the fee pricing, this policy increases social welfare as well as the profit of the incumbent firm. When the pricing is regulated, however, social welfare depends on whether there is information asymmetry between the government and the firm regarding the operating cost of the facilities. If the government has complete information, social welfare can be maximized by choosing the optimal prices. Otherwise, the government has to set the prices based on the information that the firm delivers. We formulate a Bayesian game to analyze this case and identify a set of perfect Bayesian equilibria to compare social welfare.

This study investigates the influence of pictured reviews on online seller (for a particular product of a seller) rating with moderating effect of price, brand type (foreign vs local), goods type (experience vs search), and brand familiarity. Multiple robust linear regression analysis with moderation interaction and quadratic effect used to explain the relationship of the explanatory variables with the criterion variable. We collected cross-sectional data from the two most renowned Chinese online shopping platforms (B2C) of total 15,621 product links. Results show that higher number of reviews with a low ratio of picture reviews response negative effect on rating, whereas the lower number of reviews with a high ratio of picture reviews response positive effect on the rating. In overall picture in the reviews improve the online seller product rating. For the moderation effect, results show that price and brand familiarity have a positive interaction effect on the relation of pictured reviews and rating whereas experience goods have less negative effect comparing search goods. Finally, local brand has less negative interaction effect comparing foreign brand to pictured reviews and rating.

In order to prepare for cyber threats, one of the biggest problems facing the convergence industry in the future, the development of the industry must proceed in tandem with a framework of information security. In this study, we analyze the details of the current industrial development policy and related information protection policies using cross impact analysis and present policy priorities through the expert questionnaire. The aim of the study was to clarify the priorities and interrelationships within information security policy as a first step in suggesting effective policy direction. As a result, all six information security policy tasks derived from this study belong to key drivers. Considering the importance of policies, policies such as improving the constitution of the security industry and strengthening of support, training of information protection talent, and investing in the information security industry need to be implemented relatively first.
