경보접근 장애요소의 심각도와 심각도 구성요인 간의 관계 (A Study on the Barriers of Researcher's Access to Information)

  • The purpose of this research is to verify the hypothesis that the serious ness of barriers may have significant relevance to barrier components expressing the extent of barrier, e. g. their frequency of occurrence, effect of the barrier on the acquisition of information and on the research project and trend of the barrier. Major conclusions made in this research are summarized as follows: 1. Barriers that their frequency of occurrence are high, show high seriousness of barriers. This indicates that frequency of barriers affects the seriousness of barriers. 2. Barriers that their effects on the acquisition of information and on the research project are large, show high seriousness of barriers. This indicates that the effect of the barrier on the acquisition of information and on the research project affects the seriousness of barriers. 3. Barriers that their trends are increasing, show high seriousness of barriers. This indicates that the trend of the barrier affects the seriousness of barriers.

GIS를 이용한 사방댐의 토사유실 저감효과 분석 (Efficiency of Soil Erosion to a Debris Barrier using GIS)

  • 본 연구에서는 소양호유역의 탁수 및 토사유실 저감을 위해 수립중인 다양한 대책중 산림청과 지자체를 중심으로 계획중인 사방댐에 대한 저감효과를 분석하였다. 2005년 강우와 GIS 자료를 이용하여 분석한 결과 소양호유역의 토사유실은 4,819,494 ton으로 평가되었으며, 단위토사유실분석에서는 추곡천, 자운천 그리고 오항천이 다른 유역들에 비해 높은 값을 보였다. 94개의 사방댐 지점을 중심으로 GIS 공간분석을 이용하여 사방댐유역을 추출하였으며, 사방댐유역의 토사유실량과 유사운송비를 이용하여 저감효과를 분석한 결과, 2005년 사방댐의 토사유실저감효과는 6.8%(330,203 ton)으로 분석되었다. 또한 사방댐의 위치를 5,000 ton 이상인 지역으로 이동한 시나리오에서의 사방댐의 토사유실저감효과는 10.5%(506,783 ton)으로 증가되었다.

  • For the foundational study on automatic review of the barrier free Environment certification for the socially disadvantaged using BIM modeling information, we first confirm the need of the automatic review by analyzing the barrier free Environment certification an by investigating the existing studies on barrier free Environment certification. After that, we select a primary approach for our research by investigating the related works such as automatic review of the building code. As a next step, we generate the BIM modeling information, extract the classification system, analyze and extract items in the barrier free Environment certification according the extracted system, compares the items with the BIM generation information, and allocate them. And, we showed the potential usability of automatic review by deriving a process to prepare the ruleset structure for the automatic review and to prepare a criteria for BIM modeling guide.

광경화성 페이스트를 이용한 PDP 격벽 형성 연구 (Processing of Barrier Ribs of PDP Using an UV-curable Paste)

  • In an attempt to reduce processing cost and to improve resolution of PDPs, micro mold transfer processing route for barrier ribs of plasma display panel was attempted. In this study, the parameters that may cause defects during the process were identified, which include the shrinkage during UV curing process, stress due to evaporation of organic components, and sintering shrinkage. Considering such parameters, UV curable paste was developed and barrier ribs of PDPs were successfully processed via the process. This work demonstrated the possibility of build-up route in manufacturing barrier ribs of PDP.

Electrical Properties of TiO2 Thin Film and Junction Analysis of a Semiconductor Interface

  • To research the characteristics of $TiO_2$ as an insulator, $TiO_2$ films were prepared with various annealing temperatures. It was researched the currents of $TiO_2$ films with Schottky barriers in accordance with the contact's properties. The potential barrier depends on the Schottky barrier and the current decreases with increasing the potential barrier of $TiO_2$ thin film. The current of $TiO_2$ film annealed at $110^{\circ}C$ was the lowest and the carrier density was decreased and the resistivity was increased with increasing the hall mobility. The Schottky contact is an important factor to become semiconductor device, the potential barrier is proportional to the hall mobility, and the hall mobility increased with increasing the potential barrier and became more insulator properties. The reason of having the high mobility in the thin films in spite of the lowest carrier concentration is that the conduction mechanism in the thin films is due to the band-to-band tunneling phenomenon of electrons.

Analysis of Electrical Properties of Ti/Pt/Au Schottky Contacts on (n)GaAs Formed by Electron Beam Deposition and RF Sputtering

  • This paper describes a study on the abnormal behavior of the electrical characteristics of the (n)GaAs/Ti/Pt/Au Schottky contacts prepared by the two techniques of electron beam deposition and rf sputtering and after an annealing treatment. The samples were characterized by I-V and C-V measurements carried out over the temperature range of 150 - 350 K both in the as prepared state and after a 300 C, 30 min. anneal step. The variation of ideality factor with forward bias, the variation of ideality factor and barrier height with temperature and the difference between the capacitance barrier and current barrier show the presence of a thin interfacial oxide layer along with barrier height inhomogenieties at the metal/semiconductor interface. This barrier height inhomogeneity model also explains the lower barrier height for the sputtered samples to be due to the presence of low barrier height patches produced because of high plasma energy. After the annealing step the contacts prepared by electron beam have the highest typical current barrier height of 0.85 eV and capacitance barrier height of 0.86 eV whereas those prepared by sputtering (at the highest power studied) have the lowest typical current barrier height of 0.67 eV and capacitance barrier height of 0.78 eV.

  • To investigate the reliability of the MTJs on the roughness of insulating tunnel barrier, we prepared two MTJs with the different uniformity of barrier thickness. Namely, the one has uniform insulating barrier thickness; the other has non-uniform insulating barrier thickness as compared to different thing. As to depositing amorphous layer CoZrNb under the pinning layer IrMn, we achieved MTJ with uniform barrier thickness. Toinvestigate the reliability of the MTJs dependent on the bottom electrode, time-dependent dielectric breakdown (TDDB) measurements were carried out under constant voltage stress. The Weibull fit of out data shows clearly that $t_{BD}$ scales with the thickness uniformity of MTJs tunnel barrier. Assuming a linear dependence of log($t_{BD}$) on stress voltages, we obtained the lifetime of $10^4$years at a operating voltage of 0.4 V at MTJs comprising CoNbZr layers. This study shows that the reliabilityof new MTJs structure was improved due to the ultra smooth barrier, because the surface roughness of the bottom electrode influenced the uniformity of tunnel barrier.

Complete Tunneling of Light via Local Barrier Modes in A Composite Barrier with Metamaterials

  • We investigate the conditions of the complete tunneling of light across a composite barrier made of multiple layers involving metamaterials. It is shown that complete tunneling phenomena are related to the resonance transmission properties of local modes formed in barrier layers and that there are two distinctive kinds of local barrier modes involved in actual complete tunneling: the degenerate inner-barrier mode and the full barrier mode. Complete tunneling occurs via two successive mode couplings: from the incident plane wave to the plane wave in the transmission layer through the direct mediation of these two kinds of local barrier modes.

Development of UV-curable paste for micro mold transfer process of barrier ribs of PDPs

  • We present a novel head tracking system for stereoscopic displays that ensures the viewer has a high degree of movement. The tracker is capable of segmenting the viewer from background objects using their relative distance. A depth camera is used to generate a key signal for head tracking application. A method of the moving parallax barrier is also introduced to supplement a disadvantage of the fixed parallax barrier that provides observation at the specific locations.
