  • Recently a prevailing trend in marketing has been the use of consumer participations or prosumer activities and this has caused consumers to become skeptical in their treatment of information found on blogs. Therefore, these marketing practices can be usefully examined to ensure they represent a neutral source of information for consumers. This study thus investigated married women's production activities of consumer information using personal blogs, their motives and experiences, and the characteristics of the information they produced. A qualitative study was undertaken using focus group interviews with two groups of sixteen married women in their 30's and 40's. Results suggested that personal bloggers' information production activities were primarily initiated by businesses and that bloggers were paid for their activities either with money or through the products they reviewed. Although the information produced was, because of its basis in consumer experience, consumer friendly, its quality was limited in the sense because it primarily reflected the perspective of businesses. The bloggers, themselves, expressed ethical uncertainty about their practices. Implications for consumer education and policy were also discussed.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of offline leisure activities and online leisure activities on depressive symptoms in the COVID-19 endemic. To do this, this study proposed a theoretical model consisting of demographic characteristics such as gender, age, academic background, and monthly income, offline leisure activity types such as socially-oriented activities, online leisure activity types such as information searching activities, entertainment activities, and the level of depressive symptoms. A survey was conducted to confirm research hypotheses, and a total of 99 questionnaires were used for statistical analysis. The major results of analysis reveal that first, monthly income is an important factor in predicting the level of depressive symptoms. Second, both offline socially-oriented activities and online entertainment activities have a negative effect on the level of depressive symptoms. This study has implications in that it identified the characteristics of leisure activities that can reduce the level of depressive symptoms.

  • This paper focuses on how the protection of information security incident is effective in via Information security awareness when conducting information security activities of enterprises. Research models have theorized that the information security activity and the information security awareness will reduce the incidence of information security. The general characteristics of analysis targets have been carried out in the frequency analysis, and the reliability of the measuring tool has been utilized to calculate the coefficient of Cronbach's information protection. Evidence has been demonstrated regarding the relationship between information security activities and information security awareness and information security incidents.

  • Reliability management requires many activities such as conceptual design, detail design, reliability evaluation and analysis, life testing, and environmental screening, etc.. To perform these activities effectively, a lot of information are required : information for failure mechanism, failure modes, part characteristics, and environmental conditions, etc.. These information should be managed to be used effectively and accurately in reliability activities and feedback to product design and manufacturing. This study identified and characterized these information and classified them according to the reliability activities commonly adopted in many manufacturing industries. IDEF1 was used to define and characterize the flow and the relationship of these reliability information and model is proposed which represents the structure of reliability information systems. The proposed model can be used as a basis for developing reliability management softwares.

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to test fitness of the structured model of SNS activities for health information. Methods : A structured questionnaire were administered to 500 subjects. A structural equation model was applied to collected data. Results : The response rate was 73.9%. The respondents mostly used Facebook and KakaoStory. They spent 70 minutes per day and 21~30% of this usage was taken by health information. In the variances, those who has religion more actively exchanged information about diseases and medical institutions. The goodness-of-fit of the model was .81(GFI) and .90(CFI). The main path was bridging capital -> bonding capital -> credibility -> SNS activities for health information. The path from quality of sharing information to SNS activities was not significant. It could be explained by the restriction of digital literacy. Conclusions : SNS activities for health information were determined by credibility, currency and bonding social capital. Bridging social capital, indirectly, influenced SNS activities through bonding social capital. Thus building bonding social capital would be a critical success factor for SNS.

  • This Paper analyzed simultaneous activities of the time use survey by Korea National Statistical Office to use data mining's association rule. The survey of National Statistical Office in 1999 considered general analysis for main activities like that personal care(eating), employment and study, leisure, travel by purpose. But if we use the association rule, we can found the ratio of simultaneous activities at the same time. And also we can found the probability that another activities practise if we act one particular activity. Using this association rule of data mining we can do more developed and analytical sociological study.

  • Purpose - This paper aims to examine the impact of buyer-supplier cooperation on suppliers' trust on buyers and the moderating role of buyers' governance mechanism between the sharing activities and trust. Research design, data, and methodology - An integrated research model is designed to materialize the research hypotheses. First, the impact of buyer-supplier cooperation is empirically analyzed by looking into how the sharing activities, in the field of information, resource, and knowledge, of buyer with supplier will affect the trust of supplier on buyer. Second, the moderating effect of contract-based governance mechanism of buyer is empirically analyzed. Third, the influence of trust on innovation performance of suppler is empirically analyzed. Results - Our findings provide supporting evidence for some of our hypotheses. First, all of the sharing activities are significantly influential, but in different degree, to trust of supplier. Second, contract-based governance mechanism of buyer have a moderating effect on the relationship between sharing activities and trust, positively in resource-sharing activities, negatively in information-sharing activities, not significant in knowledge-sharing activities. Third, supplier's trust on buyer positively affects supplier's own innovation performance. Conclusions - The strategies applied in supply chain management have become important as the competition among firms has shifted from competition between individual firms to competition between supply chains. A customer's sharing activities with its supplier may contribute to an increase in innovation performance. The supplier's information-sharing activity with its customer could affect its information-sharing activities with its main supplier. Cooperative activity with a partner in the supply chain is cultivated and amassed into relationship knowledge, and this study shows that the cooperative relational knowledge related to information-sharing activities enables firms to participate in sharing activities with their main suppliers. Increasing evidence shows that sharing various activities between buyer and supplier improves trust and performance outcomes, and enables firms to maintain competitive advantage. From the perspective of knowledge theory, external knowledge is becoming more important in firms' innovation activities, because innovative knowledge is acquired primarily through interaction with another organization. In addition, relationship learning could be an important tool in absorbing the supplier's core technology, information, expertise, and core competencies, increasing relational value.
