A class of infinite series summable by means of fractional calculus

  • We show how some interesting results involving series summation and the digamma function are established by means of Riemann-Liouville operator of fractional calculus. We derive the relation $$ \frac{\Gamma(\lambda)}{\Gamma(\nu)} \sum^{\infty}_{n=1}{\frac{\Gamma(\nu+n)}{n\Gamma(\lambda+n)}_{p+2}F_{p+1}(a_1, \cdots, a_{p+1},\lambda + n; x/a)} = \sum^{\infty}_{k=0}{\frac{(a_1)_k \cdots (a_{(p+1)}{(b_1)_k \cdots (b_p)_k K!} (\frac{x}{a})^k [\psi(\lambda + k) - \psi(\lambda - \nu + k)]}, Re(\lambda) > Re(\nu) \geq 0 $$ and explain some special cases.

  • The imploded open $\pi$-rays comprise of the space and their diameters are distributed from nearly zero to infinite. The change of the potential energy in the open $\pi$-ray produces an attraction force between them and it is sensible to the geometric shape factor and its frequency. The equivalent principle of general relativity means that in the wave equation its velocity of the force wave is infinite. The change of the state in a open $\pi$-ray(or any force wave) can be transferred to any sensible open $\pi$-ray via space at a finite velocity. Many properties of the light wave can be deduce from the motions of open $\pi$-rays.The nonsteady and steady Schr dinger equations include the dynamics of open $\pi$-rays and closed $\pi$-rays.$\prod$-ray is a tool of entity for constructing physics and metaphysics at the same time.

  • 'Boundaries' are divided in various types and expressed in diverse ways. Since the progress of socio-cultural, scientific, technological and ideological changes has been so fast, spaces, including cities and their architecture, are also changing rapidly. It is really hard to catch the general flow of modern architectural situations and the logic behind them since they are very complicated and diverse. It is even more complicated to determine which architectural phases represent the same period and how to provide the accompanying characteristics. Therefore, in this study, the boundary has infinite possibilities. By how to provide the accompanying characteristics. Therefore, in this study, the boundary has infinite possibilities. By reorganizing the structure of the ambiguous boundary and what the ambiguous boundary means itself in the process of thinking of creative designers as well as encompassing spatial design.   • Paranormed spaces are important as a generalization of the normed spaces in terms of having more general properties. The aim of this study is to introduce a new paranormed space |𝜙z|(p) over the paranormed space ℓ(p) using Euler totient means, where p = (pk) is a bounded sequence of positive real numbers. Besides this, we investigate topological properties and compute the α-, β-, and γ duals of this paranormed space. Finally, we characterize the classes of infinite matrices (|𝜙z|(p), λ) and (λ, |𝜙z|(p)), where λ is any given sequence space.

  • New simplicity means essential concept that is continuous rather than being concept that do not overcome formal, material functional boundary. Consuming masses, decorative reactionism is possible in infinite resource and continuous plenty. Nowaday situation can not forecast the affirmative future bases on economic performance and practicality, so simplicity esthetics which consisted of minimum things is justified. The purpose of this study is to discuss not the formal and functional simplicity but new simplicity to express the essential thoughts and emotional contents of human life.

  • In the theory of retrial queues it is usually assumed that the flow of primary customers is Poisson. This means that the number of independent sources, or potential customers, is infinite and each of them generates primary arrivals very seldom. We consider now retrial queueing systems with a homogeneous population, that is, we assume that a finite number K of identical sources generates the so called quasi-random input. We present a survey of the main results and mathematical tools for finite source retrial queues, concentrating on M/G/1//K and M/M/c//K systems with repeated attempts.

  • Muskhelishvili's complex variable method has been applied to derive exact and closed expressions for Gaursat's functions for the first and second fundamental problems of the infinite plate weakened by a curvilinear hole which is conformally mapped on the domain outside the unit circle by means of rational mapping function. The hole having three poles. The previous work of the authers in this domain is considered as special cases of this work.

  • A method is described to obtain the first order force and second order steady force on the fixed two dimensional submerged or semisubmerged cylinders at infinite depth of water due to regular waves. The first order diffraction wave velocity potential which describes the flow diffracted by a body is obtained numerically using source distribution method on the mean wetted surface. And a technique to remove the irregular frequency phenomena of the source distribution method is also applied. The second order steady force is calculates by means of direct integration of the pressures on the body as derived from the first order velocity potential and is also computed by means of reflection wave height derives from momentum conservation theory. The results are compared with those of published works, and show good agreement.

  • The time-averaged behavior of the three-phase Inductor-Converter Bridge (ICB) circuit has been analyzed by using the state-space averaging method. Especially, a second order approximation in the matrix expansion makes the analysis possible. The results are in a closed form which is quite different from the conventional solution obtained by using the Fourier Series. Therefore, the computational difficulties in evaluating the infinite Fourier series can be avoided and the results derived in this paper are available expecially in real time control. By comparing with the Fourier result, it has been verified that the analysis by means of the state-space averaging method is more accurate and simple. The digital simulation and the equivalent experiments have also been carried out to confirm the theoretical results.
