This paper analyses and represents the various static and dynamical aspects of the production management problems by graphical methods. For this, eight graphical formal models are investigated and compared in terms of their ability to express twelve typical features for the structure of production planning.

The exchangeability of subassembly has a good relationship with the modularization of product. This relationship can be found by the analysis of the characteristics of a product. The weight for decision factors for the modularization can be determined by the exchangeability of a product or subassembly. The functions, structure, materials of subassembly are used as the decision parameters of exchangeability. Using these selected parameters, the modularization of a product, the characteristics of product structure, and the product function are analyzed. And then, the weighting factors could be calculated quantitatively using this relationship and the parameters of the exchangeability. The calculated weight can contribute to help a designer design for recycling (DFR), design for energy (DFE) and Eco-design.

Purpose - Transnational corporations (TNCs) have influenced drastic changes (financial services, manufacturing, labor, technology transfer) in Central Eastern Europe (CEE). This paper examines the indirect changes in the CEE pattern of industrial development and market distribution. Research design, data, and methodology - Over 25 years, neighboring (or rival) countries competed to attract TNCs as a double-edged strategy for privatization and debt reduction. Through their experience attracting foreign direct investment (FDI), many countries started to reflect aspects of national capitalism. Countries also began to realize in 2010 that TNCs sought to enter markets with more favorable conditions for export-oriented manufacturing. Results - The analysis reveals that TNC investment strategies were aimed at eliminating local competition to acquire industrial "brown fields" to convert into "green fields." CEE countries have since strengthened their national systems and the support of large-scale state-owned enterprises and small and medium-sized start-up enterprises. Conclusions - CEE has changed based on industrial development and a regional structure of TNC market distribution and associated government policies. The pattern toward flexible markets gives countries the ability to further their economies.

Composite nanoparticles of silica-polyaniline were synthesized and tested as an electrochromic material. For the optical application, the size of the nanoparticle was intended to be less than 100 nm in diameter. The synthesis was done by using a microemulsion synthesis method where the silica-polyaniline composite nanoparticle was obtained by dispersing two acidic aqueous phases containing aniline and polymerization agent, respectively. Microstructure analysis such as TEM and BET surface area measurement showed the possibility that polyaniline is incorporated in porous silica structure. The composite structure of the particle was proved to enhance chemical stability of the prepared electrochromic film.

Active damping system is generally used for the vibration suppression and precise motion control for the flexible structure. This application can be easily found on the space structure and driving mechanism of optical storage devices. Although a control system using the flexible structure has many advantages over using rigid mechanism in driving energy saving, system weights, and etc., more complex and precise control strategies are required. A position control system using flexible structure and the concept of active damper is designed and manufactured, which is driven by slide DC motor and moving coil motor located at the tip of the flexible beam. Dynamic characteristics of this system are investigated by analytic and experimental ways. By the comparison of those two results, a nominal reference model for this system is proposed.

Since 2010, there have been phenomena that the recession of key industries has spreaded into a regional crisis, affecting the overall regional economy in Korea. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the regional industrial structure and manufacturing competitiveness has been changed in Gunsan, which is in crisis due to the decline of the shipbuilding and automobile industries. As a result, the pace of change in industrial structure of Gunsan has accelerated, and this is because the mass employment released from the key industries has been absorbed into other industries, but there were no manufacturing fields that could replace the recession of the key industries. Among the manufacturing of Gunsan, the degree of specialization of the basic industries has been gradually weakened, and in addtion, the weakening of location competitiveness has brought a negative impact on the growth rate differential of the manufacturing. It is necessary to closely examine changes in characteristics of regional industrial structure for Gusan to find an alternative direction in order to respond to the manufacturing crisis.

Most of all researchs and analyses in the field of television industry of Korea were related to Cable Television SO(System Operator), but few about PP(Program Provider) from the viewpoint of Industrial Theory in Korea. However, there wasn't a comprehensive research analysis in terms of the co-relationship of the market structure, market conduct and market performance of PP. This research analyzes co-relationship and dynamics of the market structure of PP, its market conduct and market performance in a comprehensive way in Cable TV industry. Especially this paper focuses on the analysis of 1)relationship and its influence between market structure and market conduct, 2) relationship and its influence between their market conducts and market performances and 3) relationship and its influence between market structure and market performance among 40 commercial PPs in terms of the theory of Industrial Organization in Korea. This paper is delated and reported as follows in conclusion : 1)the type of horizontal integration has an effect on the price and scale in the relationship between the structure and its conduct. 2)the price has effect on the revenue and viewing rate between the conduct and performance. And high dependency of the Cable TV license fee has an effect on viewing rate and revenue per subscribers(ARPU) between the conduct and performance. 3)The horizontal integration between the structure and performance had a positive effect on viewing rate and its product differentiation has an effect on the revenue per subscribers. Net cost of the product had a negative effect on the rate of profit.

Equipments in container terminal have a lot of parts, and an equipment breakdown affects the productivity of terminal. In this paper, we develop a maintenance management system for improving reliability, availability and maintainability of equipments in container terminals. The developed system consists of five modules : equipment structure module, equipment operation management module, maintenance control module, spare part control module and data analysis module. The system supports reliability engineers to manage and improve RAM of equipments in container terminals. For example, FMEA, failure state analysis and life distribution parameters estimation are easily or automatically done by the system. This system also provides optimal preventive maintenance intervals by simulation and optimal yearly PM schedules for equipments in container terminal are recommended.

Posttraumatic growth literature has been rapidly expanding in multiple academic disciplines. Purpose of this study is to examine the knowledge structure of posttraumatic growth utilizing a network analysis. Papers published between 1996 and 2018 were searched on the Web of Science, focusing on terms related to posttraumatic growth. One thousand six-hundred and fifty-nine keywords were published 6,343 times in 1,780 papers; thus, a total of 322 keywords (5,195 appearances) were selected for the final analysis. The network analysis and network visualization tool used were NodeXL and PFnet, respectively. The keywords which appeared the most frequently were "Posttraumatic growth," followed by "Posttraumatic Stress Disease," "Cancer," and "Trauma." A total of 322 nodes have been reduced to 175 nodes and divided into a total of five groups. The five groups were "Posttraumatic Growth in Cancer, Chronic/Serious Illness, and Disability," "Posttraumatic Growth-related Psychological Variables and Psychotherapy," "Posttraumatic Growth in the Context of Death," "Cognitive Mechanisms of Posttraumatic Growth," and "Vicarious Posttraumatic Growth." This study provides a systematic overview on the knowledge structure of posttraumatic growth by quantitatively network analysis.

Fluorescent yield X-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS) spectroscopy is useful for analyzing local structure of specific elements in matrices. We developed an XAFS apparatus with a 100-pixel superconducting tunnel junction (STJ) detector array with a high sensitivity and a high resolution for light-element dopants in wide-gap semiconductors. An STJ detector has a pixel size of $100{\mu}m$ square, and an asymmetric layer structure of Nb(300 nm)-Al(70 nm)/AlOx/Al(70 nm)-Nb(50 nm). The 100-pixel STJ array has an effective area of $1mm^2$. The XAFS apparatus with the STJ array detector was installed in BL-11A of High Energy Accelerator Research Organization, Photon Factory (KEK PF). Fluorescent X-ray spectrum for boron nitride showed that the average energy resolution of the 100-pixels is 12 eV in full width half maximum for the N-K line, and The C-K and N-K lines are separated without peak tail overlap. We analyzed the N dopant atoms implanted into 4H-SiC substrates at a dose of 300 ppm in a 200 nm-thick surface layer. From a comparison between measured X-ray Absorption Near Edge Structure (XANES) spectra and ab initio FEFF calculations, it has been revealed that the N atoms substitute for the C site of the SiC lattice.
