  • The emergence of convergence has been the cause of development of the industry more complex and difficult by continually changing business environment and the destruction of the business area. The government-initiatives approach shows the limits to foster the new industries in needs of service-oriented ecosystem. In this study, we propose the service model as service-based approach for the development of new industries derived through the convergence inter-industry. While business model is defined based on the company's temporary and piecemeal activities, service model is the concept of dynamic and continuous that includes national, industrial, corporate level. In order to derive the service model, to identify current problems and issues with the public and the private sector is first. Then design the roadmap for the implementation of the desired shape through strategy from optimal rationality and long-term strategy. In this study, we define a service model, and consider when establishing a service model for three dimensional(national, industrial, corporate level) through analyzed by 3Level Service Model. And we also consider characteristics of the service model and approach, present the case of 'New Transit Card Services in Seoul'.

  • A clear increase in the average annual temperature is observed worldwide, and climate changes take place in response to that increase. This affects not only the ecosystem, but also to mankind. Of all those aspects of climate change, people are especially interested in the length of each season, and people acknowledge that the duration of spring and fall has been shortened over the past several years. Still, it is difficult to observe this kind of phenomenon with the simple analysis of dividing the seasons and calculating the duration. Therefore, this study attempted to set up a more intuitive standard which well reflects the current situation. This study also divided the daily climate into 4 states using the daily maximum and minimum temperature. Moreover, using the Hidden Markov Model, this study calculated the duration of each season and analyzed its tendency based on the daily temperature data of the last 53 years (1960~2012). According to the result, the duration of spring and fall showed mild decreasing tendency over the past 53 years, and the duration of fall decreased even more during the past 30 years in the Korean peninsula. After 1960, the start of spring was advanced, which decreased the length of winter for about 11 days. On the other hand, the duration of summer increased for about 25 days, which is consistent with the worldwide tendency of temperature increase.

  • Space development has been led by the state due to huge investment, risks of development failure, and restrictions on international cooperation on technology development and transfer. For this reason, it has been developed mainly by some advanced countries and industrial network formed among them. However, Korean space industry is being promoted by the successful launch of 'KSLV-I' and 'CAS 500-I' and the space launch vehicle "KSLV-II" under development. Recently, Korea and U.S. agreed to end bilateral missile guidelines. Therefore it is expected that development of Korean space industry will be accelerated due to the disappearance of the constraining factors for the development of space launch vehicles. Accordingly, this study examined the development and formation of the Korean space industry through the framework of network analysis. Based on this, the effect of structural position in the industrial network as a resource on the performance of Korean space companies was examined. Panel analysis was applied. Through this study, ideas for fostering the domestic space industry and implications for national policy related with building an industrial ecosystem are derived. It contributes to the development of space industry in Korea.

  • Fossil fuels are one of the various energy sources used by humans, and industrial development has been achieved by relying on fossil fuels for a long time in the past. In order to respond to the depletion of fossil fuels and climate change, the world is trying to build an eco-friendly energy ecosystem. Research on efficiency improvement using renewable energy and ESS in various ways for energy conversion is being promoted. In this paper, a microgrid for industrial complexes was designed, constructed, and demonstrated. It was operated in two modes: an independent mode that each plant generates and uses independently and a connected operation mode that allows energy sharing between factories. In the case of independent mode, PV and PCS were intermittently stopped and restarted according to the status change of SoC section of each site. But, in the case of the connected operation mode, stable power supply was confirmed through power transaction through the operation of the entire SoC. This paper presented and verified an algorithm to stably supply power to industrial complexes consisting of various consumers with different load characteristics.

  • Purpose: This study focuses on the golden banana (Kluai Hom Thong) from the Ban Khok Banana Community Enterprise Group in Sang Khom District, Udon Thani Province, Thailand. Despite its potential as an export crop and minimal disease or insect management issues, the group's products struggled to reach international markets due to lack of marketing opportunities, distribution channels, and proper packaging. The research aims to analyze and develop packaging and logos to test market potential for the group's products. Research design, data and methodology: Data was collected through questionnaires developed in conjunction with three printing and packaging design experts. Market testing involved 100 randomly sampled consumers of the group's products. Results: The new packaging design was perceived as more international, modern, and suitable as a souvenir for adults. Conclusions: Integrating ethnic elements and local materials into packaging design can enhance product appeal. For example, creating cloth bags from fabric scraps for carrying local woven products can impress consumers. This approach could help overcome market barriers and improve prospects for golden banana products in international markets while maintaining the intact ecosystem and environment of the production area. The study highlights the importance of effective packaging and branding in addressing market access challenges for local agricultural enterprises, potentially opening new opportunities for community-based businesses.

  • Expressed sequence tag (EST) library was constructed from A. tamarense. Base sequences of EST clones were analyzed and saxitoxin biosynthesis-related genes were cloned. Sequences of 827 clones were analyzed and 564 EST were functionally clustered using Blast searches against GenBank. Main genes in the EST had functions on cellular organization, cell metabolism, energy, cell cycle and DNA processing, cellular transport and transport, cell rescue, defense, death and aging, and transcription. Moreover, expression of S-adenosylmethionine synthetase and H2A histone family genes were increased in the toxic A. tamarense. These results show that two genes could be a good biomarkers for the detection of saxitoxin biosynthesis in the A. tamarense.

  • The rumen microbial ecosystem is coming to be recognized as a rich alternative source of genes for industrially useful enzymes. Recent advances in biotechnology are enabling development of novel strategies for effective delivery and enhancement of these gene products. One particularly promising avenue for industrial application of rumen enzymes is as feed supplements for nonruminant and ruminant animal diets. Increasing competition in the livestock industry has forced producers to cut costs by adopting new technologies aimed at increasing production efficiency. Cellulases, xylanases, ${\beta}$-glucanases, pectinases, and phytases have been shown to increase the efficiency of feedstuff utilization (e.g., degradation of cellulose, xylan and ${\beta}$-glucan) and to decrease pollutants (e.g., phytic acid). These enzymes enhance the availability of feed components to the animal and eliminate some of their naturally occurring antinutritional effects. In the past, the cost and inconvenience of enzyme production and delivery has hampered widespread application of this promising technology. Over the last decade, however, advances in recombinant DNA technology have significantly improved microbial production systems. Novel strategies for delivery and enhancement of genes and gene products from the rumen include expression of seed proteins, oleosin proteins in canola and transgenic animals secreting digestive enzymes from the pancreas. Thus, the biotechnological framework is in place to achieve substantial improvements in animal production through enzyme supplementation. On the other hand, the rumen ecosystem provides ongoing enrichment and natural selection of microbes adapted to specific conditions, and represents a virtually untapped resource of novel products such as enzymes, detoxificants and antibiotics.
