Computer security incident such as confidential information leak and data destruction are constantly growing and it becomes threat to information in digital devices. To respond against the incident, digital forensic techniques are also developing to help digital incident investigation. With the development of digital forensic technology, a variety of forensic artifact has been developed to trace the behavior of users. Also, a diversity of forensic tool has been developed to extract information from forensic artifact. However, there is a issue that information from forensic tools has its own forms. To solve this problem, it needs to process data when it is output from forensic tools. Then it needs to compare and analyze processed data to identify how data is related each other and interpret the implications. To reach this, it calls for effective method to store and output data in the course of data processing. This paper aims to propose DFIOC (Digital Forensic Indicators Of Compromise) that is capable of transcribing a variety of forensic artifact information effectively during incident analysis and response. DFIOC, which is XML based format, provides "Evidence" to represent various forensic artifacts in the incident investigation. Furthermore, It provides "Forensic Analysis" to report forensic analysis result and also gives "Indicator" to investigate the trace of incidence quickly. By logging data into one sheet in DFIOC format for forensic analysis process, it is capable of avoiding unnecessary data processing. Lastly, since collected information is recorded in a normalized format, data input and output becomes much easier as well as it will be convenient to use for identification of collected information and analysis of data relationship.

It has been spent too much time to figure out the incident route when we are facing computer security incident. The incident often recurs moreover the damage is expanded because critical clues are lost while we are wasting time with hesitation. This paper suggests to build a Digital Evidence Map (DEM) in order to find out the incident cause speedy and accurately. The DEM is consist of the log chain which is a mesh relationship between machine data. And the DEM should be managed constantly because the log chain is vulnerable to various external facts. It could help handle the incident quickly and cost-effectively by acquainting it before incident. Thus we can prevent recurrence of incident by removing the root cause of it. Since the DEM has adopted artifacts in data as well as log, we could make effective response to APT attack and Anti-Forensic.

As the threat of cyber incident grows continuously, the need of IOC(Indicators of Compromise) is increasing to identify the cause of incidents and share it for quick response to similar incidents. But only few companies use it domestically and the research about the application of IOC is deficient compared to foreign countries. Therefore in this paper, a quick and standardized way to create IOC automatically based on the analysis result of malwares from Cuckoo Sandbox and its application is suggested.

Chinese hackers hack the e-commerce site by bypass South Korea IP to connect to the third country, finance damaging a violation incident that fake account. 7.7.DDoS attack was the case of a hacker attack that paralyzed the country's main site. In this paper, the analysis is about vulnerabilities that breaches by hackers and DDoS attacks. Hacker's attacks and attacks on the sign of correlation analysis is share the risk rating for in real time, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green. Create a blacklist of hackers and real-time attack will be studied security and air conditioning systems that attacks and defend. By studying generate forensic data and confirmed in court as evidence of accountability through IP traceback and detection about packet after Incident, contribute to the national incident response and development of forensic techniques.

Recently, the number of mobile ransomware types has increased. Moreover, the number of cases of damage caused by mobile ransomware is increasing. Representative damage cases include encrypting files on the victim's smart device or making them unusable, causing financial losses to the victim. This study classifies ransomware apps by analyzing several representative ransomware apps to identify trends in the malicious behavior of ransomware. We present a technique for recovering from the damage, from a digital forensic perspective, using reverse engineering ransomware apps to analyze vulnerabilities in malicious functions applied with various cryptographic technologies. Our study found that ransomware applications are largely divided into three types: locker, crypto, and hybrid. In addition, we presented a method for recovering the damage caused by each type of ransomware app using an actual case. This study is expected to help minimize the damage caused by ransomware apps and respond to new ransomware apps.
Recently, real-time cyber threats are constantly occurring for various reasons. Most companies have the characteristic of digitizing important internal information and storing it centrally, so it can be said that the impact is very high when an Computer Security Incident occurs. All electronic device information collected and analyzed in the process of responding to an Computer Security Incident has the characteristic of being subject to change at any time. Submission of related evidence is required in future investigations and courts. At this time, the basic principles of digital forensics, such as the principle of integrity and the principle of chain of custody, must be followed to ensure legitimacy and accuracy of the evidence. In this paper, we propose a digital forensic-based Computer Security Incident Inspection and Response procedure in the Windows 10 environment to secure the legitimacy and accuracy of digital evidence collected and analyzed when an intrusion occurs, prevent intrusion in advance, and quickly recognize it.

Smart Grid devices are the major components of the Smart Grid. They collect and process a variety informations relating power services and support intelligent power services by exchanging informations with other SG devices or systems. However, If a SG device is attacked, the device can provide attack route to attacker and attacker can attack other SG devices or systems using the route. It may cause problem in power services. So, when cyber incident is happened, we need to acquire and examine digital evidence of SG device quickly to secure availability of SG. In this paper, we designed remote evidence acquisition system to acquire digital evidences from SG devices to response quickly to incidents of SG devices. To achieve this, we analyzed operating environment of SG devices and thought remote digital evidence acquisition system of SG devices will be more effective than remote digital evidence acquisition system targeted general IT devices. So, we introduce design method for SG devices remote evidence acquisition system considered operating environment of SG devices.
As recently Privacy Acts in Korea enforced in domestic companies' personal information management needs of a growing obligation for the safety measures and the right of personal information collection, use, limitations, management, and destroyed specifically for handling personal information. Such this regulations should be required technical and policy supports. Accordingly, for the enterprise incident has occurred, the personal information management system behave correctly operating to verify that the safety measures taken, and be determined by the specific preparation to be done. So the first, preparation phase corresponds to the upcoming digital forensic investigation model. On the other hand, the response team also carried these measures out correctly, it needs to be done to check the compliance of Privacy Act. Thus a digital forensics investigation model is strictly related with the implementation of the Privacy Acts and improve the coping strategies are needed. In this paper, we suggest a digital forensic investigation model corresponding to Privacy Act.

Security incidents using vulnerabilities in cloud services occur, but it is difficult to collect and analyze traces of incidents in cloud environments with complex and diverse service models. As a result, the importance of cloud forensics research has emerged, and infringement response scenarios must be designed from the perspective of cloud service users (CSUs) and cloud service providers (CSPs) based on representative security threat cases in the public cloud service model. This simulated hacking-based proactive cloud infringement response framework can be used to respond to the cloud service critical resource attack process from the viewpoint of vulnerability detection before cyberattacks occur on the cloud, and can also be expected for data acquisition. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a framework for preventive cloud infringement based on simulated hacking by analyzing and utilizing Cloudfox, a cloud penetration test tool.

Cybersecurity attack targeting a specific user is rising in number, even enterprises are trying to strengthen their cybersecurity. Network segmentation environment where public network and private network are separated could block information coming from the outside, however, it is unable to control outside information for business efficiency and productivity. Even if enterprises try to enhance security policies and introduce the network segmentation system and a solution incorporating CDR technology to remove unnecessary data contained in files, it is still exposed to security threats. Therefore, we suggest a system that uses file format conversion to transmit a secure file in the network separation environment. The secure file is converted into an image file from a document, as it reflects attack patterns of inserting malicious code into the document file. Additionally, this paper proposes a system in the environment which functions that a document file can keep information for incident response, considering forensic readiness.
