  • In the past, ERP had been applied to large company mainly, but recently, in order to exist from global business environment, most of smaller businesses are using or planing to introduce ERP. However, introduction of ERP requires considerable expense and effort, before ERP come into being, it is needed to measure the expense of introducing and the outcome expected. Previous analytical frameworks (according to introduction of ERP) have been focused on measuring improvement of performance by introducing ERP. This study carries out a survey on priority analysis of information system with small businesses which produce displayer parts. To derive the user's priorities which have been disregarded beside the improvement of performance on information system, this study rearranges the analysis indices by using BSC model and it analyzes the priorities of importance according to the stakeholder(manager group, middle manager group, worker group) by using ANP method.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the current status of hygiene education for hotel chefs, in terms of the level of performance and importance of food hygiene inspections, as well as hygiene practices related to food cooking, storage, personal hygiene, and facility environment. We aim to identify what areas of education require priority improvement and derive implications. Methods: A survey on hygiene status, importance, and performance was conducted among 289 chefs working in six luxury hotels in Busan, South Korea. Frequency analysis and cross-analysis were conducted to evaluate the current status of hygiene education, while Borich Needs analysis was conducted to evaluate its importance and performance. The areas needing priority improvement were identified using the Locus-for-Focus model. Results: First, the most common frequency of hygiene education was once or twice a year. Participants who were older and with more years of experience were more likely to participate in annual training. Second, based on the degree of discrepancy between importance and performance and the results of Borich Needs analysis, the areas needing the highest priority were food inspection and hygiene. Third, according to the results of applying The Locus for focus model and visualizing it as a portfolio in a 2 ', 'Chopping boards and knives are frequently washed, sterilized and dried', 'Wash your hands with soap before starting cooking', 'Perform regular quarantine and disinfection to prevent pest invasion'. Conclusion: This study contributed to the understanding of the current status of hygiene education for chefs working in luxury hotels and confirmed the importance of hygiene management. Future research should aim to develop a more comprehensive hygiene education program by including participants from a more diverse pool of hotels and restaurants. This will significantly improve the hygiene management practices of chefs, thereby helping to prevent food hygiene-related accidents.

  • Public rental housing in Korea has been initially provided for residential stability of low-income household focusing on solving quantitative insufficiency since 1980s. In the process of early stage of designing and planning public rental housing, qualitative aspects of considering children were not primary concern. This study aims to analyze the priority of environmental improvement of outdoor spaces for children's safety in public rental housing. First, literature review was performed in the reference of local residential safety guidelines, Universal Design, and CPTED guidelines. In each guidelines, common safety planning factors for children were extracted within different types of outdoor spaces. Second, based on literature analysis, residents evaluated importance and satisfaction level by different safety types, outdoor space type, and environmental planning factors. In results, residents evaluated high importance and showed low satisfaction for crime and traffic safety. Through IPA, facilities and parking space was evaluated where improvement is needed for the first priority, and planning factors were mostly concerned with surveillance and safety management system. Result shows general concern of public rental housing residents, about weak facility management and security system, and about socially isolated environment which heightened the fear of crime safety. Overall, poor maintenance of the complex environment and decrepit facilities are constantly raising risk of safety accidents especially for children. Considering residents' concern, environmental improvement should be considered in perspective of not only physical repair, but also facility management and security system.

  • The purpose of this study is to consider the relation between the deciding factors of local identity and local image improvement. To achieve this purpose, the deciding factors of local identity have been set as the following four: historical identity, cultural identity, (nature) scenery identity, and industrial identity. The writer has established a model to represent the relation between these factors and the local image improvement, namely 'Visitor Satisfaction' and 'Revisit Intentions', and framed a hypothesis for empirical verification. The study results are as follows: First, the deciding factors of local identity which this study addressed are empirically proven to have a significant effect on the visitor satisfaction and the intention to revisit in which is it likely that the greater the impact of the deciding factors, the higher the visitor satisfaction and revisit intentions would be. Second, the deciding factors of local identity, it appears that the 'historical identity' factor had the largest impact on the visitor satisfaction, and the 'cultural identity' factor had the largest impact on the revisit intentions. Therefore, of the four deciding factors, the 'historical identity' should be considered the highest priority to increase the visitor satisfaction, and the 'cultural identity' should be considered the highest priority to increase the revisit intentions. Third, based on the verification of the relation between the visitor satisfaction and revisit intentions, it can be presumed that the greater the visitor satisfaction, the higher the revisit intentions would be.

  • After forming a institutional framework with specified in Maritime Safety Law(ex. Maritime Traffic Safety Law) on May 27th, 2009, The efforts for improving 'Maritime Traffic Safety Assessment Scheme(MTSA scheme)' have continued to the present. But there's no review with the comprehensive and systematic approach for proceeding acceleration step of MTSA scheme. At this point, this study analyzed current status and derived improvement measures using by 'PIP'OU model' which was designed for the comprehensive analysis in accordance with metaevaluation theory, like as question investigation and etc. Consequently, it mainly needs to improve 'Assessment Plan' domain and minimized the difference in views between concerned parties. This study is expected to be used to develop systematic maritime policy by proposing the order of priority in improvement matters.

The literature search was based on policy projects in the forest sector by 8 upper-level local governments including mountain villages. For questionnaire items, 173 forest policy projects were classified into 27 types through expert review, and the importance and performance of each type were rated on a 5-point Likert scale. Paired t-test, IPA, Locus for Focus model, and Borich needs assessment were used as the analysis methods, and the statistical program SPSS 21.0 was used as the analytical tool. Results: The results showed that 'creating forest-related jobs' and 'supporting cultivation of professional forestry workers' both showed high importance and performance, implying that they would show an effect in mountain village promotion. 'Creating forests for environmental improvement', 'discovering forest cultural assets' 'establishing and boosting forest tourism', 'providing forest therapy services', 'creating forest-related jobs', 'supporting community revitalization', and 'urban-rural exchanges' were found to be the types that needed improvement and concentration for mountain village promotion. In particular, 'creating forests for environmental improvement' and 'discovering forest cultural assets' were derived as priority considerations for mountain village promotion policies. • Most of weapon purchasing countries in the world are using offset trade as an important negotiation means of foreign trade. In particular, Japan and Israel have obtained good results in the new projects and finding a new market for the long run through the offset trade. On the other hand, the USA holds much weight in the aspect of Republic of Korea's record of offset trade performance. However, compared with the record, her achievement known concretely has been evaluated insufficiently. Therefore, we suggest the improvement plans of the offset trade drive systems in this study. So that we analyze foreign countries' priority by offset trade type against the USA, the American offset trade object and priority and the case study of offset trade's post valuation plan. Moreover, we extract management problems of assets and technical materials obtained through the offset trade.

  • The Korean medical device industry has increased dramatically due to various investments in the domestic medical device industry and the introduction of new technologies, but the domestic medical device usage rate in great hospital is still low. In this paper, improvement point for domestic medical device was suggested by domestic medical device usage rate and user and manager's perception survey in great hospitals in Korea. To do this, a survey on the types of medical devices and domestic medical device usage rates were conducted at four national university hospitals in Korea. From this results, the priority survey medical devices were selected. Improvements of Korean medical devices were suggested by failure mode analysis and user awareness surveys for the priority survey medical devices.
