In the field of domestic construction demolition works, work process management system is left behind compared with that of several advanced countries such as US, Japan and UK. Especially, the problems regarding safety management are more serious in terms of the availability of safety manuals and law system. The analysis results fiom the questionnaire survey and interviews with demolition engineers indicated that current safety management practices in demolition works lack systematic approach and inappropriate in securing labors' safe working environment. In addition, field labors and managers strongly requested the improvement of safety educational system. Grounded upon the analyses results and investigations, suggestions were drawn for the establishment of advanced safety educational system.

The present work focuses on the prediction of birefringence in injection-molded part and its improvement by rapid mold heating. To calculate birefringence, flow-induced residual stress is computed through a fully three-dimensional injection molding analysis. Then the stress-optical law is applied from which the order of birefringence can be evaluated and visualized. The birefringence patterns are predicted for a rectangular plate with a variation of mold temperature, which shows that the amount of molecular orientation and birefringence level decreases with an increase of mold temperature. The effect of mold temperature on the order of birefringence is also studied for a thin-walled rectangular strip, and the relevant results are compared with experimental measurements. Both predicted and experimental patterns of birefringence are in agreements on the observation that the birefringence level diminishes significantly when the mold temperature is raised over the glass transition temperature.

This study, as a part of integrated human-robot ergonomics, improves the robot motion control on the robot task in the TOES/WCS whose purpose is improving the teaching task constructed in the previous study. First, the updated combined fuzzy process using a new membership function with Weber's law is constructed for the purpose of coordinate reading of the end points in the macro motion control. Second, an algorithm using the geometric analysis is desinged in order to calculate position values and posture values of the robot joints. Third, the MGSLM method is designed to remove unnecessary the robot motion control caused by the GSLM method in the micro motion control. Consequently, proposed methods in this study lessen burdcn of a human of an improvement of the robot motion control and reduce the teaching time of a human operator and inaccuracy of the teaching task, which contribute to the integrated human-robot ergonomics.

A highly sophisticated expertise and systematic and integrated management of security operation are essential for a crowded stadium. a special object of security guarding. Nonetheless, the recent incident in a singing concert hall reveals the overall problem like the lacking safety management system. lacking deployment of professional security personnel, absence of safety manuals and safety measures, as well as the lack of professionalism of private sector security companies. In this study, we presented three categories that needed improvement, like the legal and institutional improvement, improvement of policy and improvement of operation which are required to set up the model to operate the optimal private sector security duties. For the revision of law and institution for a better and more desirable method, we discussed the revision of related laws and regulations pursuant to the security operation at places where events are held, including the revision of law on security guarding work, regulation on common housing management, uniformity of security guarding, and law on performance. For the improvement of policies, we discussed the introduction of security consultants, strengthening the security instructor system, expansion of relevant organizations, establishment of mutual cooperation, privatization of profitable events, improvement of awareness about the security activities provided by private sector, policy for the professionalism of private security operation, expansion of security exhibition and seminar. For the improvement of operation. we discussed professional security techniques. such as the technique of security consulting, the application of CPTED technique, the technique for the integration of system, the method of operation, the establishment of a system to support public security operations and volunteers, establishment of a manual for security guarding performance, modernization and high tech-oriented equipment, organization of security guarding entity in which the industry, academic society and government participates together.

Since the introduction of the C.M(Construction Management)system in the Basic Law of the Construction Industry in 1997, the recent arrangement of construction management engineers in public sector buildings has generally been based on architecture·civilengineering·machinery·landscaping, electricity, telecommunication, fire fighting by the number of M/M(Man and Month). In the field of engineers arrangement in each field, the arrangement of M/M according to the workload of architecture.civilengineering.machinery.landscaping and electricity is inadequate causing conflicts and C.M among construction management engineers. Therefore, this study aims at basic research that is used to identify the problems through the questionnaire and to prepare future improvement plans.

The suggestions that follow are about the Qualitative Improvement of private security Industrial. First, in legal and institutional policy, new establishment by law for private security and more support from government is asked. Moreover, the restructuring or M&A between petty companies and the pricing for security service should be performed. Second, in the structural aspect of private security industry, the professional education center for private security guards should be established and the terms of payment and welfare should be improved to the level above standard. In addition, it should be achieved to change the public to have a new and correct understanding of private security and develope the specialized parts suited to the characteristic and ability of each companies. Third, the construction of operating system for private security service should be achieved; recruit system for competent security guards, marketing strategy and enforcement system, widely known confidence to client, normal training system for security guards and post management system for client. This is also to be suited to the characteristic of each companies.

According the high growth of Korean economy, there are many changes in our life recently. As life quality is improved, the standard of construction is strengthen and subdivision. However, in many steps through which it passes until a building is planned, designed, constructed and completed, there are lots of problems among the law related architecture. Especially, there are many statutes which must be checked related to building permits and much wastes time and money in review because of overlapping laws related architecture. Furthermore, there are limitation of computerization and shortage of human power of administration in architecture. In this study, we propose six improvement programme of administration service in architecture. Through these program, civil applications like housing and economic condition could be improved consistently.

The purpose of this study was to analyze legal characteristics and issues of an underground pedestrian connection, which is a very useful tool to create 3D pedestrian networks and the vibrant underground environment. To do this, this paper explored the related laws to install the connection and analyzes 74 cases of Jung-gu, Seoul to find major issues. Then, it defined the legal characteristics in terms of not only the laws but also property law in Korea, thereby suggesting the improvement schemes. As a result, this paper concluded that the connections can be installed by an Urban Planning Facility or a Road Occupation Permit, but should be considered their public interest. In addition, exactions or fees for the permit should be carefully implemented based on the characters of the connection.

Based on the analysis of defects occurring before and after painting work, this study intends to derive a reasonable improvement in judgment criteria and propose an amendment to the relevant law through the establishment of a clear fire door replacement cycle in terms of fire safety.

Purpose: Regarding workers' health promotion and disease prevention, the law on the health management system has been enacted and implemented since 1961. However, regulations related to health managers do not meet recent demands for changes in fields such as industrial structure, occupational health problems, or the improvement of occupational health skills. This study aimed to suggest improvement strategies regarding the health management system in the workplace. Methods: We summarized past empirical or theoretical literature. Results: This study summarized the overview and history of the Korean occupational health management system, advanced foreign occupational health management system, and the effectiveness of the health management at workplace. Further, this study proposed various strategies to improve the occupational health management system in Korea. Method: We summarized past empirical or theoretical literature. Conclusion: The effective operation of the health management system in the workplace would improve workers' health, in addition to enhancing national competitiveness through securing a healthy workforce.
