Secure Remote User Authentication Scheme for Password Guessing Attack (패스워드 추측공격에 안전한 원격 사용자 인증 스킴)

  • This paper shows that a scheme provided by An[7] is not enough to satisfy security requirements for a user certification using a password-based smart card. In order to compensate this weakness, this study provides an improved user scheme with a hash function and ElGamal signature. This new scheme has some advantages protecting password guessing attack, masquerade, and replay attack as well as providing forward secrecy. Compared to An's certification scheme, this scheme suggests that the effect of computational complexity is similar but the efficiency of safety is better.

  • Confidence intervals for the population proportion in a double sampling scheme subject to false-positive misclassification are considered. The confidence intervals are obtained by applying Agresti and Coull's approach, so-called "adding two-failures and two successes". They are compared in terms of coverage probabilities and expected widths with the Wald interval and the confidence interval given by Boese et al. (2006). The latter one is a test-based confidence interval and is known to have good properties. It is shown that the Agresti and Coull's approach provides a relatively simple but effective confidence interval.

  • An improved clock-feedthrough compensation scheme for switche dcurrent system is proposed. Both the signal dependent and the constant clock-feedthrough terms are cancelled by using both NMOS and PMOS current samplers and by adopting a source replication technique. The proposed current memory cell was fabricated with 0.6$\mu$m CMOS process. Both experimental and theoretical results on clock-feedthrough error reveal substantial reduction over the existing compensation schemes.

  • from the viewpoint of model-based current control it is indispensable to use the accurate system parameters for the high control performance. This paper adopts the Least-Squares algorithm as a parameter estimation scheme because it has the fast convergence rate and the low sensitivity to noises. in case of the PI current controller with high gains the simulation results show that the adopted estimation scheme can be successfully applied to PWM converters and also show that the control performance can be improved by using the estimated parameters.

  • In this work we analyze a postprocessing scheme for improving the guaranteed error bound based on the equilibrated fluxes for the P1 conforming FEM. The improved error bound is shown to be asymptotically exact under suitable conditions on the triangulations and the regularity of the true solution. We also present some numerical results to illustrate the effect of the postprocessing scheme.

  • By using Dual Port DRAM to Multi-media SoC, an improved performance is achieved in this paper. The proposed scheme greatly help the multi-media SoC like a application for full HDTV, and it can be extended to the application field which is needed the low access latency with heavy traffic. Additionally, the proposed scheme help to down the BUM cost of system.

  • In this study, it is performed numerical simulation on multi-phase flow by means of CIP-CSI2 scheme. It is applied In a two-phase free surface flow problem at a high density ratio equivalent to that of an air-water system, for examining the computational capability. The method that is being developed and improved is a CIP(Constrained Interpolation Profile) and CSL2(Conservative Semi-Lagrangian) based Cartesian Grid Method.

  • A neuro-fuzzy based torque profile model of SRM with considerably improved accuracy is obtained using the measured data for training. The inferred torque profiles, which comprise magnetic non-linearities, represent the dynamic model of SRM. Then the reference torque signal with optimized waveform and switching angle are decided to control the torque directly. Hence, the presented scheme controls the torque in an instantaneous basis, allowing powerful torque control with minimum torque ripple even during the transient operation of the motor. Simulation and experimental results demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed torque control scheme are presented.

  • From the viewpoint of model-based current control, it is indispensable to use the accurate system parameters for the high control performance. In case of the intelligent current controller with delay compensator, the simulation results show that the adopted estimation scheme can be successfully applied to PWM converters and also show the improved control performance in the estimated parameters.

  • Under high power IGBTs Switching, a large overvoltage is induced across the IGBT module due to the stray inductance in the circuit. This paper proposes a new gate drive circuit for high power IGBTs which can actively suppress the overvoltage across the driven IGBT at turn-off while preserving the most simple and reliable power circuit. The turn-off driving scheme has adaptive feature to the amplitude of collector current, so that the overvoltage can be limited much effectively at the fault collector current. Experimental results under various normal and fault conditions prove the effectiveness of the proposed.
