The effects of agents in padding liquor on the fixation of vinylsulfonyl reactive dye of ground color and on the resist-dischargeability in resist-discharge printing of cotton fabrics with reactive/reactive dyes were investigated. Alkalis, such as sodium bicarbonate, sodium carbonate, sodium acetate and trichloro sodium acetate, were used to fix the dye for ground color on cotton fabrics. Sodium bicarbonate and sodium carbonate showed a good fixation of the dye for ground color, but they were ineffective to the white and the colored resistdsichargeabilities, which were caused by the fast fixation of the dye for ground color before its reaction with resist agent in printing paste. Therefore these are not suitable for the agent to fix the dyes for ground color because they deteriorate the resist-dischargeability. In case of sodium acetate, as the fixation yield of the dye for ground color was remarkably low. and the white resistdischargeability was not good, it had better not be used for the agent to fix the dye for ground color. However, the addition of sodium trichloroacetate to padding liquor gave a very good fixation yield of ground color, and showed an excellent resist-dischargeability. The effects of acetic acid in padding liquor on the fixation of the dye for ground color and on the resist-dischargeability were studied in case of immediate printing of resist-discharge pastes after padding and drying and in cases of printing after 1∼3 day-storage of padded goods. By the addition of 2% of 48% acetic acid aqueous solution to padding liquor, the white and the colored resist-dischargeabilities were improved and the fixation of the dye for ground color was good without any troubles. Especially, when the padded goods were stored for 2 or 3 days and printed with resist-discharge printing pastes, its addition was very effective on the resist-dischargeability.

The low-flow grouting injection technique, the target construction method for this study, is a method of pouring mortar into the ground by non-emission replacement principle, which can be expected to increase the density of the ground, and, in some cases, be used as a base file using the strength of the high injection solids, along with low noise, low pollution, and high durability. To verify that the dynamic characteristics of the ground are improved by the low-flow injection technique, the test work was conducted on the site and physical tests were performed, and the quality of the improvement formed in the ground was verified through the indoor test on the core and core recovery rate was analyzed. The density logs test layer calculated the volume density of the ground layer by using the Compton scattering of gamma-rays, and the sonic logs was tested on the ground around the drill hole using a detector consisting of sonar and receiver devices inside the drill hole. As a result of the measurement of the change in physical properties (density and sonic logs) before and after grouting, both properties were basically increased after infusion of grout agent. However, the variation in density increase was greater than the increase in speed after grouting, and the ground density measurement method was thought to be effective in measuring the fill effect of the filler. Strength and core recovery rates were measured from specimens taken after the age of 28 days, and the results of the test results of the diffusion and strength test of the improved products were verified to satisfy the design criteria, thereby satisfying the seismic performance reinforcement.

In this study, an experimental study was carried out with variables of the shape of the ground soil-binder in order to find out whether the shear wave velocity and the ground grade were improved by the ground improvement. In this study, the shear wave velocity was measured using the crosshole method with variables of the shape of the ground soil-binder. In addition, the prediction formula of the shear wave velocity for suitability of N-Values for the domestic soil conditions are proposed using the result value of this study and the existing results of shear wave velocity. As a result, the shear wave velocity of the ground has increased. In addition, the prediction formula proposed in this study reasonably issued the existing experimental results regardless of the stratum conditions.
In this study the pilot test of CGS as injection method by low slump mortar was performed and the results were analyzed in order to find out the application of this method and effect of settlement restraint. The site far pilot test is adjacent to apartments supported by pile foundations. Sand drain method was performed previously as countermeasures against settlement, but settlement occur continuously because this ground is very soft. Site investigations such as SPT, DCPT and vane shear test were performed to determine the characteristics of ground improvement. Field measurements and FDM analysis were performed on purpose to find out the displacement of ground during injection works. From the results of this study, CGS method can be optimized by the control of diagram, space, depth, injection material, and injection pressure. CGS improved soft ground compositely by the bearing effect of CGS columns and reinforcement of adjacent ground. Considering that increase of N value is about 2.1, CGS can be considered as an effective method to increase the bearing capacity as well as to stop the settlement of soft ground. It is also expected to be economic and effective in improvement of ground when it is used in applicable sites.

The electricity distribution system in Korea is adopting a multi-grounding system. Protection of this distribution system against lightning is performed by installing overhead ground wires over the high voltage wires, and connecting the overhead ground wires to the ground every 200 m. The ground resistance in this system is limited not to exceed $50\Omega$ and overhead ground wire and neutral wire are multiple parallel lines. Although overhead ground wire and neutral wire are installed in different locations on the same pole, this circuit configuration has duplicated functions of providing a return path for unbalanced currents and protecting the distribution system against induced lightning. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the induced lightning shielding effect according to the neutral wire installation structure of a 22.9kV distribution line in order to present a new 22.9kV distribution line structure model and characteristics. This study calculated induced lightning voltage by performing numerical analysis when an overhead ground wire is present in the multi-grounding type 22.9kV distribution line structure, and calculated the induced lightning shielding effect based on this calculated induced lightning voltage. In addition, this study proposed and analyzed an improved distribution line model allowing the use of both overhead wire and neutral wire to be installed in the current distribution lines. The result of MATLAB simulation using the conditions applied by Yokoyama showed almost no difference between the induced lightning voltage developed in the current line and that developed in the proposed line. This signifies that shielding the induced lightning voltage through overhead wire makes no difference between current and proposed distribution line structures. That is, this study found that the ground resistance of the overhead wire had an effect on the induced lightning voltage, and that the induced lightning shielding effect of overhead wire is small.

The ground work with of the research is constructed by a SCP method to improve clay ground in the sedimentary layer and sand ground in the reclamation layer at the same time as a reclaimed soft ground by reclaiming deep depth. Improved fine-grained soils in the sand ground decrease the ground improvement effect and have an influence on replacement ratio of SCP method. Fine-Grained soils which advances in sand ground reduces a from improvement effect, Makes affect in replacement ratio of SCP method. In this study, consideration about replacement ratio of sand ground, Tried to observe affects in replacement ratio of fine-grained soils SCP method of dredging reclamation ground. The result, replacement ratio which follows in the Japan Geotechnical Society experience-chart(1988) recording where fine-grained soils content will increase feebly, was visible the aspect which increases progressively, replacement ratio in compliance with Gibbs and Holts(1973) methods according to fine-grained soils increase is visible the tendency which decreases gradually with the enemy. Specially, according to case fine-grained content of Mizuno(1987) methods increases, replacement ratio suddenly was showing the trend which rises from of 50% and according to fine-grained soils increase was overestimated.

Grouting is frequently used before the construction of subsea tunnels to mitigate problems that can occur in weak ground zones such as joints, faults or unconsolidated settlements during construction. The grout material injected into rock mass often flows through the discontinuities present in the host rock and hence, joint properties such as its distribution, roughness and thickness greatly affect the properties of grouting-improved rocks. The grouting-improved zones near subsea tunnels are also subjected to high water pressures that can cause long-term weathering in the form of changes in grout microstructure and crack formation and lead to subsequent changes in ground properties. Therefore, an assessment method is needed to accurately measure changes in the grouting-improved zones near subsea tunnels. In this study, the elastic wave propagation characteristics in grouting-improved rocks were tested for various axial stress levels, curing time, joint roughness and thickness conditions under laboratory conditions and the results were compared with wave velocity standards in different Korean rock mass classification systems to provide a basis for inferring improvement in grouted rock-mass.
The optimum level of fresh granulated low-calcium (0.2%) skim milk co-precipitate, as fat substitute in low-fat ground pork patties was determined on the basis of physico-chemical, cooking and sensory properties. Low-fat ground pork patties (<10% total fat), formulated with 15 per cent water, 4 per cent added fat, 1.5 per cent salt and 4-10 per cent milk co-precipitate, were evaluated for proximate composition, cooking characteristics and compared with control patties with 15 % added fat. The moisture and protein content of raw and cooked low-fat patties were significantly (p<0.05) higher than control. The incorporation of milk co-precipitate in low-fat patties improved cooking yield, fat and moisture retention and reduced shrinkage. The sensory properties of low-fat patties were comparable with control patties. The overall acceptability of low-fat patties formulated with 7% milk co-precipitate was significantly (p<0.05) higher than patties with 10% level and non-significantly (p<0.05) higher than low-fat patties containing 4% milk co-precipitate and control. Instrumental Texture Profiles of developed low-fat patties and control patties were comparable with slight increases in hardness and gumminess of the low-fat product. The developed low-fat ground pork patties (7% milk co-precipitate) had lower TBA values, better microbiological and sensory refrigerated storage stability than high-fat control patties packaged in air permeable films for 21 days.
Stone columns is the ground improvement method which composed of compacted gravel or crushed stone inserted into the soft ground consisting of loose sand and clay. There are many difficulties in quantitative analysis of soil-pile interaction because settlement behavior of stone columns is affected by various parameters. In this study, various parameters of behavior of end-bearing group piles are investigated by load tests. Finally, the improved characteristics of soft ground and the influence of design parameters are investigated in this study using PR (performance ratio) value. From the PR value calculation and test results, we know that settlement behavior of stone columns is affected by area replacement ratio of composite ground, diameter of column rather than embedment ratio and mat.

Storage and transfer heat in soils is governed by the soil thermal properties and these properties are therefore needed in many engineering applications, including horizontal ground heat exchanger for ground-coupled heat pumps. This paper presents the evaluation results of the thermal diffusivity of soils (silica, quartzite, limestone, sandstone, granite, and two masonry soils used for the trench backfilling materials of the horizontal ground heat exchanger. To assess this thermal property, we (i) measure the soil thermal conductivities using single-probe method and (ii) use the de Vries method of summing the heat capacities of the soil constituents. The results show that the thermal diffusivity tends to increase as dry soil begins to wet, but it approaches a constant value or even decreases as the soil continues to wet. Combined algorithm with and improved model for the thermal conductivity of soils and the constituent equation provides accurate estimates of the soil thermal diffusivity.
