  • South korean self support rate fer the grain product is less than 25%, and depends on the imported product for the national food supply. Therefore, there is imminent need for development of agricultural decision support system using GIS which provides various useful informations for a more accurate agricultural policy making. Agricultural decision making processes are complex due to complicated current international political situations, and the erratic weather condition like that Elnino, flood and drought eft. Hence, global scale GIS and analytical applications has implemented for solving the agricultural problems above mentioned in this study. As the results, the executable decision process with GIS developed well adopted for the rice cultivable area estimation in the world.

The decentralized Austronesian polity: Of Mandalas, Negaras, Galactics, and the South Sulawesi Kingdoms

  • Various models have been presented to describe early Southeast Asian political formations that draw on both indigenous and imported Indic ideas. The most influential of these are the "Mandala" (Wolters 1968, 1982, 1999), "Galactic" (Tambiah 1976), "Negara" (Geertz 1980), and Anderson's 1972 "The idea of power in Javanese culture." This paper represents an initial attempt to compare the salient features of these models with historical and archaeological data from South Sulawesi where, exceptionally and importantly, societies developed independently of Indic ideas. South Sulawesi is unique in being the only region of maritime Southeast Asia where there are sufficient written and oral sources, often substantiated by archaeological data, to document the social evolution of its society from scattered, economically self-sufficient communities with ranked lineages practicing swidden agriculture to large political units (kingdoms) constructed around indigenous cultural and political concepts with economies based on wet-rice agriculture. This wealth of data provides us with a much more detailed picture of the emergence, development and support structures of early kingdoms than found in the models, which makes South Sulawesi of fundamental importance in understanding the social and economic evolution of pre-Indic influenced Austronesian societies in Maritime Southeast Asia.

A Study on Agricultural Machine Sharing Application

  • The government has set the mechanization of paddy agriculture as a national task, aiming to achieve over 70% by 2025. The main objective is to stabilize the farming costs of rural households due to the aging and feminization of rural areas, as well as the shortage of agricultural labor. In response to this, the Korea Rural Economic Institute operates a farm machinery rental business. However, there are challenges in selecting and managing rental machinery, including issues related to labor, costs, verification, and time. Additionally, there is a limit to upgrades, and overseas models are being imported and used for transplanters and rice planters, which do not conform to domestic standards and face maintenance difficulties. In order to solve the difficulties of the agricultural machine rental business, we intend to develop an application that shares domestic and foreign machines purchased and used by individuals at a low cost and use them in gun-level administrative districts.

한국(韓國)의 미곡변질(米穀變質)의 유형(類型)과 그 원인(原因)이 되는 균군(菌群)에 대(對)하여(제2보)(第二報) (Types of Deterioration of Storage Rice in Korea and Identification of the Causitive Microorganisms (II))

  • 전국(全國)에 걸쳐 수집한 62개(個)의 변질미(變質米) 시료(試料)를 외관상(外觀上)의 변색(變色)으로 그 유형(類型)을 구별(區別)하고 그 원인(原因)이 되는 균군(菌群)을 분리(分離) 조사(調査)하여 다음과 같은 결과(結果)를 얻었다. 1. 62개(個)의 변질미(蠻質米)는 그 변색(變色)의 외관(外講)으로 황적색(黃赤色) 적황적색(赤黃赤色), 담적색(淡赤色), 적회색(赤灰色), 농회색(濃灰色) 및 바구미(米)의 7개유형(個類型)으로 분류(分類)하였다. 2. 62개(個)의 시료(試料)에서 곰장이류 5속(屬) 44종(種), 효모류(酵母類) 1속(屬) 1종(種), 세균류(細菌類) 4속(屬) 14종(種)을 분리(分離)하였다. 3. 분리(分離)된 총균군중(總菌群中) 72.4%는 곰팡이류(類)이었으며 27.6%가 세균류(細菌類)이었다. 곰팡이 유중(類中)에는 Asp. glaucus군(群)이 38%, Asp. candidus가 14%, Asp. oryzae가 12%, Asp. versicolor가 8%로 거의 대부분이며 기타의 Aspergillus, Penicillum, Rhizopus, Scopulariopsis 그리고 Trichoderma등(等)이 있었으며 세균류중(細菌類中)에 는87%가 Bacillus이었으며 Pseudomonas가 10%, 기타 Baveiacterium과 Staphylococus등(等) 분리(分離)되었다. 4. 변색(變色)과 균군(菌群)의 관계(關係)는 절대적(絶對的)은 아니지만 황적색(黃赤色)에서는 Pen. islandicum, 담황적색(淡養赤色)에서는 Asp. candidus, Asp. clavatus, 담적색(淡赤色)에서는 Asp. glaucus, Asp. candidus, Asp. versicolor, Asp. fumigatus등(等)이, 담회황색(淡灰黃色)에는 Asp. oryzae, 담회색(淡灰色)과 농회색(濃灰色)에서는 Asp. glaucus 및 Pencillium종류(種類)가 주(主)로 분리(分離)되었다. 5. 유독성(有毒性) 물질생성균(物質生成菌)은 Asp. glaucus, Pen. islandicum, Pen. citrinum, Asp. flavus, Asp. ochraceus등(等)이 있으나 그 출현빈도(出現頻度)는 중요(重要)한 것이 아니었다. 그러나 Pen. islandicum은 높은 생육밀도를 보여서 문제(問題)가 될 수 있겠다.

조사료원에 따른 꽃사슴(Servus nippon)의 채식습성에 관한 연구 (A study on the food habits of Sika Deer (Saanen) fed with roughage sources)

  • The object of this experiment was to investigate the food habits of sika deer fed with various roughage sources. The experimental trials were conducted at Unbong Animal Genetic Resources Station in 2008. The experimental roughages include five sources and 25 species in all; grasses and legumes: 5 species (mixed grasses, orchardgrass, tall fescue, alfalfa, white clover), native grasses and weeds: 5 species (mixed native grasses, Miscanthus sinensis Anderss, Arundinella hirta (Thunb.) Tanaka, barnyard grass, short awn, forage crops (hay, silages and straw): 5 species (barley + hairy vetch, Wheat + hairy vetch, rye silage, barley silage, baled rice straw), browse and fallen leaves: 5 species (mixed browse, oriental white oak, Quercus serrta Thunb., oriental cherry fallen leaves, Japanese chestnut fallen leaves), and imported hays and straws: 5 species (timothy hay, tall fescue straw, annual ryegrass straw, klinegrass hay, alfalfa hay). Five sika deer were used as experimental animals and the averaged body weight was 95+5.4kg. The chemical composition and dry matter digestibility of each roughage source and species were significantly different at the sampling area, plant species, growth stages and cutting period(p<0.05). The sika deer ate more roughages which had low fibrous contents, but high dry matter digestibility. Among all the 25 species of roughages, the favorite intake roughage sources ranking by sika deer was observed like this: browse and fallen leaves (32.2%), grass and legumes (27.0%), native grasses and weeds (22.0%), imported hays (12.9%) and forages crops (5.5%) respectively. Although, the sika deer ate more browse leaves, but ate more roughage which had low fibrous contents (NDF and ADF), but high drymatter digestibility. On the other hand, compared to each roughage source, total intake amount by sika deer was showed as browse and fallen leaves (32.2%). Based on the result, the food habit of sika deer seems to be closer to the typical browser.

우리나라 농업의 변천과 비료의 역할 (Role of Chemical Fertilizer and Change of Agriculture in Korea)

  • The self-supply rate of Korea in 2006 was approximately 27.3 % by importing 13.99Mt for 19.79Mt of demanded amount. Among the imported crops, wheat, corn, and soybean consumed 95 % for the total imported amount, and wheat, corn, and soybean were 3.5Mt(Table use : 0.22Mt; Feed stuff : 0.13Mt), 8.7Mt(Table use : 0.19Mt; Feed stuff : 0.68Mt), and 1.2Mt (Table use : 0.03Mt; Feed stuff : 0.09Mt), respectively. On the other hand, our government has prepared the strategies for a great fear of food according to sharp price rise of the international crops by maintaining the self-supply rate of 5 % excluding 5.23Mt of rice in Korea. Also concern for recycled energy known as future energy for era of high oil price and global warming due to green house gas is rapidly growing. Therefore, our country which has relied on import of the whole oil needed in Korea and has to keep Kyoto Agent to request reduction of green house gas fully support research and practical use for agricultural products as resource of alternate energy. At first, we have to develop the mass production technology in order to secure a program of self-supply of food for bioenergy production utilizing agricultural product in Korea. But we assume that this matter is difficult to achieve under the current agriculture system that more emphasizes the environment conservation such as environmentally-friendly agriculture than production of food.

까막전복(Haliotis discus) 치패용 EP (Extruded pellet)사료내 어분과 다시마(Saccharina japonica) 대체원으로서 대두박과 생미강의 대체 효과 (Substitution Effect of Fish Meal and Saccharina with Soybean Meal and Rice Bran in the Extruded Pellet on Juvenile Abalone Haliotis discus (Reeve 1846))

  • Substitution effect of fish meal and Saccharina japonica with soybean and rice bran in extruded pellet (EP) on juvenile abalone was determined. Two thousand five hundred and twenty juvenile abalone were distributed into 36 plastic containers. Four EP were prepared and extruder-pelletized. Twenty percent fish meal, 12% soybean meal and 14% Saccharina japonicawere included in the Control diet. Fifty percent of fish meal, combined 50% of fish meal and Saccharina japonica, and 100% of fish meal and Saccharina japonica were substituted with the same amount of soybean meal, and combined soybean meals and rice brans, referred to as FS50, FS50+SS50 and FS100+SS100 diets, respectively. Four domestic and 3 imported commercial diets for abalone and salted Saccharina japonica were prepared. The diets were fed to abalone once a day for 16 weeks. The highest survival was obtained in abalone fed FS50+SS50 diet. Weight gain and SGR of abalone fed FS50+SS50 diet was higher than those of abalone fed the FS50 and FS100+SS100 diets. Proximates of abalone was affected by dietary nutrient composition. In conclusion, 50% fish meal and combined 50% fish meal and Saccharina japonica could be replaced with the same amount of soybean meal and combined soybean meal and rice bran in EP of abalone.

  • 수입 농식품에 대하여 국내에 등록되지 않아 식품공전 상의 분석법이 미확립된 chlorthal-dimethyl, clomeprop, diflufenican, hexachlorobenzene, picolinafen, propyzamide등 6종의 농약에 대해 GC-ECD로 다성분 동시분석법을 확립하였고, GC/MS로 확인하였다. 대상작물은 현미와 오렌지 2종을 선정하였고, 분석법은 식품의약품안전청에서 고시한 다종농약다성분 동시분석법을 적용하였다. 시료의 추출은 acetonitrile을 사용하였고 Florisil SPE 정제과정을 거쳤다. 분석법의 정량한계는 0.02~0.05 mg/kg 이었고, 직선성은 0.05~10.0 mg/kg 범위에서 $R^2$ >0.999였다. 평균회수율은 정량한계 수준에서 74.4~110.3%, 정량한계 수준의 10배에서 77.8~118.4%였으며, 변이계수는 전체시료에서 8.8% 이하로 잔류농약 분석기준인 회수율 70~120%와 10% 이내의 변이계수 조건을 충족시켰다. 이와 같이 확립된 6종의 다성분 분석법은 수입농산물 분석에 적용이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

미생물유래 Transglutaminase 첨가가 쌀가루 혼합분 반죽과 조리면의 조직감 및 관능특성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Microbial Transglutaminase on Textural and Sensory Properties of Noodles Mixed with Rice Flour)

  • 수입산 밀가루(ASW+AH)와 쌀가루(오대)를 첨가한 혼합된에 transglutaminase를 첨가하여 반죽 물성 및 가공적 싶을 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. Mixograph의 결과에서, 수입산 밀가루(ASW+AH)에 transglutaminase를 첨가한 mixograph 특성은 transglutaminase를 첨가할수록 각각 stability가 증가하다가 5,000 ppm 이상에서 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 수입산 밀가루에 쌀가루(오대)를 첨가할수록 mixograph 패턴은 매우 불규칙하고 불안정한 패턴을 보여주고 있으며, stability, midline peak time, midline peak height, width at peak등의 파라메터 측정치와 특정한 관련성을 보이지 않았다. 그러나 수입산 밀가루(ASW+AH)와 쌀가루(오대)의 혼합분에 transglutaminase를 첨가함에 따라 이러한 불규칙성이 감소하였다. Farinograph의 결과에서, 수입산 밀가루(ASW+AH)에 첨가한 쌀가루(오대) 함량이 증가할수록 stability와 valormeter value는 급격히 감소하고 weakness는 크게 증가하여 매우 약하고 안정성이 낮은 반죽을 형성하였다. 그러나 transglutaminase를 첨가함에 따라 수입산 밀가루(ASW+AH)에 쌀가루(오대)를 첨가한 복합분의 stability와 valormeter value는 증가하였고, weakness는 감소하였다. 수분 흡수량은 대조군인 수입산 밀가루(ASW+AH)의 반죽에 비하여 쌀가루(오대) 혼합비율이 커질수록 증가하였으며, transglutaminase를 첨가함에 따라 수분 흡수량이 감소하는 경향을 가졌다. Peak time은 수입산 밀가루(ASW+AH)와 쌀가루(오대)를 첨가할수록 짧은 경 향을 나타내었으며, 두 반죽 모두 ttansglutaminase 를 첨가할수록 길어지는 경향을 나타내었다 조리면의 기계적 조직감을 Texture profile analysis(TPA)로 측정한 결과, 쌀가루(오대)를 첨가하여 제조한 혼합분(10, 30, $50\%$)에 transglutaminase(3000, 1000, 7000 ppm)를 첨가함에 따라 검성, 씹힘성, 견고성 등 TPA 파라메터 값이 증가하였고, 10,000 ppm 첨가시에는 비슷한 수치를 나타내거나 감소하였다. 관능평가 결과에서는 쌀가루를 $30\%$ 첨가한 혼합분으로 제조한 조리면의 조직감(씹힘성, 견고성)은 수입산 밀가루에 비해서 낮게 평가되었으나, transglutaminase를 7,000 ppm 첨가한 쌀 혼합분 조리면의 씹힘성이 향상되었다.

고려시대(高麗時代) 주류문화(酒類文化)와 금.은(金.銀) 주기(酒器) (Alcoholic Beverages and Gold and Silver Wares used for Alcoholic Beverages during Koryo Dynasty)

  • Rice alcoholic beverages, cheongju and beopju, which are recorded in "Koryodokyung", "Koryosageolyo", and "Koryosa", were used in national and royal ceremonies, and yakju was used in the Palgwanhoi ritual. In the late $11^{th}$century, King Munjong imported hwaju and haenginjabeopju from the royal family of the Song Dynasty. Alcoholic beverages in the early $12^{th}$century included the medical use for kings, such as gyehyangeoju, which the Emperor of the Song Dynasty sent to King Yejong, baekjainju, which was sent to King Myeongjong for his health, and yangju, which is goat milk fermented alcohol from the nomads in the northern regions. In the early$13^{th}$ century there was also dongrak, which is a horse-milk fermented alcohol, grape wine sent from Yuan to King Chungryeol in the late $13^{th}$ century, and sangjonju, a type of special cheongju sent from Yuan in the early $14^{th}$ century. Baekju from Yuan was recorded in oral traditions, which suggests that soju, which is distilled cheongju, was consumed in the late $14^{th}$ century. Gold and silver wares for alcoholic beverages had important political, social, and economic meanings as national gifts to other countries and internally as the king's royal gift to his subjects. In the late $14^{th}$ century, soju was prohibited, and the use of gold and silver wares for alcoholic beverages was banned at the same time. This study examined the historical characteristics of the use of traditional rice alcoholic beverages, the emotional preference for foreign alcoholic beverages, and the gold and silver wares used for alcoholic beverages Koryo Dynasty.
