위탁급식업체의 급식유형별 고객만족도 비교 (Comparison of Customer Satisfaction by Type of Foodservices in a Contract Foodservice Company)

  • The purpose of this study was to gauge customers' satisfaction with the hospital, university, factory, and office foodservices from a contracted provider. Importance-performance analysis (IPA) evaluations were conducted. Questionnaires were returned from 1,808 customers in 46 foodservice locations. The average total scores of the importance and performance of seventeen quality characteristics were 4.14 and 3.23, respectively, on 5-point scales. The average total score of gap (gap = performance - importance) was -0.92. Analysis of significant difference according to the type of foodservices revealed that, hospital foodservices had more items with significant high scores than those of other groups in the average total scores concerning importance (p<0.01) and performance (p<0.01). The average total scores of gap showed no significant difference. Significant differences were evident in the food and personal service dimensions, and the scores of hospital foodservices trended significantly higher than those of other groups. Importance-performance analysis (IPA) analyses for hospital foodservice implicate 'variety of menu', 'cleanness of dishes', and 'taste of food' as items requiring prompt attention and improvement.

중소 종합병원 간호사가 인지하는 정맥수액요법의 중요도와 수행정도 (Perceived Importance and Performance of Intravenous Fluid Therapy by Nurses in Small-Medium General Hospitals)

  • Purpose: This study was done to investigate nurses' perceived importance of, and performance of intravenous fluid therapy. Methods: Data were collected from a convenience sample of 234 nurses (return rate: 93%) working in 3 small-medium general hospitals. Results: The score for perceived importance of intravenous fluid therapy ($3.65{\pm}0.37$) was higher than that of performance ($3.45{\pm}0.39$). There were positive correlations between perceived importance and performance (r=.576, p<.001). There were 180 (80.8%) errors in intravenous fluid therapy. Perceived importance and performance scores were higher in nurses who had not experienced medication errors in intravenous fluid therapy. Conclusion: The results indicate a need to develop appropriate strategies to improve perceived importance and performance and enhance safety management during intravenous fluid therapy for nurses in small-medium general hospitals.

IPA 기법을 통한 교사들의 유아권리에 대한 중요도 및 수행도 인식 차이 (Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA) of Teachers' Perceptions Regarding Young Children's Rights)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in early childhood teachers' perceptions of the importance and institutional performance regarding young children's rights. Methods: 171 early childhood teachers responded to the questionnaires. The data were analyzed by using the paired sample t-test and the IPA graph to identify differences in the teachers' perceptions of the importance and performance of each right. Results: First, the teachers perceived the importance of children's rights to be high but low in institutional performance. The main effect of teaching years on the perception appeared significant only regarding performance of the rights of protection and participation. The main effect of teacher education experiences was significant in all areas except the importance of survival rights. The results from Two-Way ANOVA showed the two variables have no interaction. Second, the second quadrant of the IPA matrix displayed the items regarding initiative and autonomy of young children. Both inexperienced- and highly-experiencedteachers, when they had teacher education, recognized that the items related to participation rights should be further improved. Conclusion/Implications: We discussed the various ways in which children's rights should be improved and ways of improving teacher education according to teacher variables in order to promote young children's rights.

중요도-수행도 분석을 이용한 대학 기숙사 급식소의 서비스 품질 속성에 대한 고객 인식분석 (Customer Perception Levels towards Service Quality Attributes of University Residence Hall Foodservice by Importance-Performance Analysis)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze university students' perception of service quality attributes in residence hall foodservice. Questionnaires were hand delivered to 1,210 university students residing in a residence hall. A total of 1,011 was usable, resulting in an 83.6% response rate. The survey was conducted between October, 1998 and May, 1999. A statistical data analysis was completed using the SAS/Win 6.12 for Descriptive Analysis, $X^2$-test, t-test, ANOVA, Spearman Correlation, and Common factor Analysis, and Importance- Performance Analysis(IPA) was completed. Significant negative correlations between importance and performance were found with 'abundance of foods'(p < 0.001), 'discontent handling'(p < 0.001), and 'availability of new menus'(p < 0.01). factors including food, menu, sanitation, atmosphere, facilities, employee's attitude, and convenience were rearranged and a new dimension was created with the service. Employee's attitude and service factors received the highest scores in customer perception of importance and performance. Food, menu, and convenience factors were included in Quadrant A. female students had significantly higher importance mean scores than males, while males had significantly higher Performance mean scores. 환자대면서비스에 대한 의사의 중요도 인식과 실천간 차이에 미치는 요인 분석 (Analysis of the Gap Between Physician's Perceived Importance and Performance of Interpersonal Care)

  • To examine the gap between physician's perceived importance and performance of care and to identify factors associated with the gap. A self-administered questionnaire survey was conducted with 91 physicians working in a University hospital in Seoul. The respondents were asked about their perceived importance and actual performance of interpersonal care on a 5-point Likert-type scale, indicating a higher score as higher importance and performance. Interpersonal care was measured by questions modified from the Korean Standard Service Quality Index, which are grouped into 6 categories: basic services, extra services, reliability, courtesy, convenience, and tangibles. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to find out physician characteristics associated with the gap. All of the 6 interpersonal care categories showed lower performance than perceived importance. The respondents tended to have a worse performance than perceived importance as the number of patients per outpatient care session ($\beta$=-0.0204, p<0.05) and the need for customer satisfaction education increase ($\beta$=-0.2226, p<0.05). Female physicians ($\beta$=0.2336, p<0.05) and those with higher job satisfaction($\beta$=0.0096, p<0.05) showed a better performance than perception. Overall, it appears that lower quality of interpersonal care was delivered to patients than the desired level considered by the responding physicians. Based on the regression analysis results, it is suggested that reducing patient volume per session, fulfilling education need for customer satisfaction, and improving job satisfaction may contribute to reduce the gap between physician's perceived importance and performance of interpersonal care.

중등학교 수학교사의 평가에 대한 인식 조사 (Secondary mathematics teachers' perceptions on assessment)

  • 본 연구는 중등학교 수학교사의 평가에 대한 인식을 조사하고 비교하기 위하여 진행되었다. 이를 위해 인천지역에 근무하는 중학교 188명, 고등학교 125명의 수학교사로부터 평가에 관한 6가지 영역과 과정 중심 평가에 대한 일반적인 인식에 대하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 자료는 중요도-수행도 분석기법(IPA)을 사용하여 학교급별, 경력별, 학교규모별로 비교 분석하였다. 주요 연구 결과로 대부분의 영역에서 중학교 수학교사들이 고등학교에 비해 중요도와 수행도 모두 높게 나타났다. 경력별로는 경력이 높을수록 높은 중요도-높은 수행도, 낮은 중요도-낮은 수행도가 많이 나타나고. 학교규모가 클수록 낮은 중요도-높은 수행도에 다양한 의견이 나타났다.

중요도-성취도 분석에 의한 전시컨벤션 개최지 평가 (Exhibition and Convention Destination Site Evaluation Using Importance-Performance Analysis)

  • 본 연구는 전시컨벤션 기획가를 대상으로 서울에 대한 전시컨벤션 개최지로서의 7개 요인 및 42개 선택속성을 중요도-성취도 분석을 통하여 평가함에 목적이 있었으며 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전시컨벤션 개최지의 42개 선택속성에 대한 중요도-성취도 분석 결과, 13개의 속성이 I사분면('지속적 노력필요'), 4개의 속성이 II사분면('과잉노력 지양'), 5개의 속성이 III사분면('우선시정 필요')에 그리고 20개의 속성이 IV사분면('저우선 순위')에 위치하고 있는 것으로 평가되었다. 둘째, 전시컨벤션 개최지의 7개 요인에 대한 중요도-성취도 분석 결과, 중요도와 성취도가 높은 I사분면에 위치하는 요인은 "전시컨벤션센터 시설", "전시컨벤션센터 이용비용" 및 "전시컨벤션 개최지 숙박공간" 요인으로 나타났다. 중요도는 높으나 성취도는 낮은 III사분면에 위치하는 요인은 "전시컨벤션 개최지 지역공간"으로 평가되고 있다. 한편 중요도와 성취도가 낮은 IV사분면에는 "전시컨벤션센터 운영", "전시컨벤션 개최지 관광공간" 및 "전시컨벤션 개최지 여가활동공간" 요인이 위치하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 서울의 전시컨벤션 개최지로서의 중요도-성취도에 대한 평균값의 차이는 2개의 속성을 제외하고는 40개의 속성이 양의 값(+)을 나타내어 속성의 중요도에 비교하여 성취도가 낮은 것으로 평가되었다.

카노 모형을 고려한 고객 요구 속성의 중요도 산정 (Determining the Importance of Customer Attributes with Kano's Model)

  • The House of Quality(HOQ) is used in the development stage to identify important customer attributes and corresponding engineering characteristics. The importance of each customer attribute obtained in the HOQ affects to the quality of the final product or service. Traditionally, such importance is derived based on the assumption that customer satisfaction is linearly proportional to the product performance. In this paper, we propose a nonlinear function so as to relate the product performance with the customer satisfaction according to the Kano model. A performance goal is obtained by maximizing the total customer satisfaction under a cost constraint and the importance of each customer attribute is developed from the performance goal. Therefore, the proposed approach incorporates the Kano categories and the improvement cost in determining the importance of customer attributes.

사회적 기업 형 카페 선택속성의 중요도 및 수행도 분석 (Importance and Performance Analysis of Customers' Selection Attributes for Social Enterprises Type Cafe)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the consumers' selection attributes of social enterprises type cafe by IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis). Data were collected through a self-administered questionnaire by 309 random consumers in several social enterprises type cafes in Seoul and Gyonggi area. The data was analyzed using SPSS windows(ver. 17.0) for descriptive analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA and factor analysis. The importance of cafe's selection attributes were divided into five factors including 'promotion and menu', 'service quality and atmosphere', 'location', 'taste', and 'brand name'. The mean scores of importance and performance for cafe selection attributes were 4.01 and 3.68 out of 5, showing a significant difference between importance and performance. According to the IPA results of 17 selection attributes for social enterprises type cafe, the selection attributes with relatively low performance but high importance(II quadrant) was 'easy accessibility'. The factor to be improved through the IPA was accessibility factor, showing that the consumers had a low satisfaction compared to the significance of cafe's location.

부산, 경남지역 치과기공사의 직무분석 (The job analysis of dental technicians in Busan, Gyeongnam)

  • Purpose: This study intends to set standard for organizing the curriculum of short-term dental technicians and the change of job environment, as well as the knowledge & training, by identifying the importance and actual job performance of dental technicians following job analysis in the university education of Dept. of Dental Laboratory Technology, and furthermore to foster junior executives to cope with modernization and globalization. Methods: The tools used in this study are based on the job analysis of research report suggested by National Health Personnel Licensing Examination Board(Lee Gyu-seon, 2011), and it consists of general characteristic 7 items. Every competence duty was measured through Likert 5 point gauging, and internal consistency through Cronbach's Alpha. The competence importance of entire questionnaire was .984 and its performance was .874, reflecting considerably high level, and in terms of each competence duty, high credibility was proved and high internal consistency was verified with competence importance ranging from the minimum .655 to the maximum .966 and its performance ranging from the minimum .677 to the maximum .993. Results: Competence importance and its performance in each duty on the job analysis of dental technicians were measured. In competence importance in each duty, the highest was "checking design order form"(average, 4.52), followed by "selling dental prosthesis"(average 4.49), "making removable orthodontic appliance"(average, 4.48), "open managing dental laboratory"(average, 4.46) in order. However, "making complete denture" was found the lowest(average, 4.23), with importance of all competence dutys was considerably high level. In the performance of its competence duty, "checking design order form"(average, 4.04) was found to be the most importance competence, followed by "making conservative restoration"(average, 4.00), "making porcelain"(average 3.98), "checking working cast"(average, 3.90) in order. However it was found out that "making fixed orthodontic appliance"(average, 3.12) was the lowest, and the importance of all competence dutys was quite high level. Conclusion: The duties of dental technicians consist of 13 kinds, in total, and it was found out that "checking design order form"(average, 4.52) was the most important in the competence importance and job performance. In particular, it was revealed that there was a great difference between the competence importance and its performance in the order of "selling dental prosthesis", "open managing dental laboratory", "making removable orthodontic appliance", "making CAD/CAM prosthesis", and then "making fixed orthodontic appliance".
