An Induction Motor Motion Control System with Direct Torque Control (직접 토크제어에 의한 유도전동기의 위치제어 시스템)

  • This paper presents an implementation of digital motion control system of induction motor vector drives with a direct torque control(DTC) using the 16bit DSP TMS 320F240. The DSP controller enable enhanced real time algorithm and cost-effective design of intelligent controllers for induction motors which can be yield enhanced operation, fewer system components, lower system cost, increased efficiency and high performance. The system presented are stator flux observer of current model that inputs are current sensing of motor terminal and rotor angle, and optimal switching look-up table by using fully integrated control software. The developed system are shown a good motion control response characteristic results and high performance features using 2.2Kw general purposed induction motor.

  • 시계열(time series)이란 한 사상 또는 여러 사상에 대하여 시간의 흐름에 따라 일정한 간격으로 이들을 관측하여 기록한 자료를 말한다. 이러한 시계열은 어떠한 경제현상이나 자연현상에 관한 시간적 변화를 나타내는 역사적 계열(historical series)이므로 어느 한 시점에서 관측된 시계열자료는 그 이전까지의 자료들에 주로 의존하게 된다. 따라서 시계열분석을 통한 예측에서는 과거의 자료들을 분석하여 법칙성을 발견해서 이를 모형화하여 추정하고. 이 추정된 모형을 사용하여 미래에 관측될 값들을 예측하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 ARMA (p, q)모형 (autoregressive moving-average model)을 이용하여 시계열 데이터를 분석하며 계수의 추정에는 Levinson-Durbin 알고리듬과 Newton-Raphson Method를 이용한다.

  • Frequency is an important operating parameter of a power system. Electric power systems sustain transient frequency swings whenever the balance between generation and load does not no longer hold. To cope with this Constraints, it requires an accurate and high speedy frequency deviation estimation technique and suitable adjustment to obtain the power system energy balance. This paper describes the design, computational aspects and implementation of an iterative technique for measuring power system. The rate change of the phase angle is used for estimation. To confirm the validity of the proposed algorithm, the simulation studies carried out on a typical 154[KV] double T/L system by using EMTP software. Some test results are presented in the paper.

  • This disseration realized the simple digital controller board using ${\mu}$-PD 70320 microprocessor has characteristics that are low cost, simple hardware organization, convenient and interchangeable with the 8086 for the servo system. We gave the control algorithm such as PD control. Self tuning adaptive control and Fuzzy control to the realized controller board and made a new real number data type for a high accuracy control. Users can select of suitable for the control algorithim. In the result of simulation and experiment shown a good performance.

  • Accounting for actuator nonlinearities in control loops has often been perceived as an implementation issue and usually excluded in the design of controllers. Nonlinearities treated in this paper are saturation, and they are modelled as an inequality constraint. The CRHPC(Constrained Receding Horizon Predictive Control) with inequality constraints algorithm is used to handle actuator rate and amplitude limits simultaneously or respectively. Optimum values of future control signals are obtained by quadratic programming. Simulated examples show that predictive control law with inequality constraints offers good performance as compared with input clipping.

  • This paper described design and implementation of stereo vision system, and also, proposed method for displacement estimation of 3-D moving object using this system. The extraction of moving object is obtained by difference image algorithm. Geometrical position of 3-D moving object is calculated form the mapping of center area of two's 2-D object. 3-D coordinate position produced space depth, moving velociity, distance, moving track and proved displacement estimation of 3-D moving object.

  • PCA(Principle Component Analysis) has emerged as a useful tool for process monitoring and fault diagnosis. The general approach requires the user to identify the root cause by interpreting the residual or principle components. This could be tedious and often impossible for a large process. In this paper, PCA scheme is combined with the FCM-based fault diagnostic algorithm to enhance the diagnostic results. The implementation of the FCM-based fault diagnostic system by using PCA is done and its application is illustrated on the two-tank system.

  • For high-speed fuzzy control systems, an important problem is the improvement of speed for the fuzzy inference, particularly in the consequent part and the defuzzification stage. This paper introduces an algorithm to map real values of the fuzzy membership functions in the consequent part onto an integer grid, as well as a method of eliminating the unnecessary operations of the zero items in the defuzzification stage, allowing a center of gravity method to be implemented with only integer additions and one integer division. A VHDL implementation of the system is presented. The proposed system shows approximately an order of magnitude increase in speed as compared with conventional methods while introducing only a minimal error and can be used in many fuzzy controller applications.

  • This paper proposes a software design and hardware implementation of Intelligent Electronic Device(IED) for power transformer. The relaying algorithm is based on DFT. The protection functions implemented include RDR with a second harmonic restraint for magnetizing inrush, OCR, OCGR, OVR, and UVR etc. The main board of IED is based on the TMS32C32 Processor. The IED was tested with relaying signals obtained for EMTP simulation package.

Initial Timing Acquisition for Binary Phase-Shift Keying Direct Sequence Ultra-wideband Transmission

  • This paper presents a parallel processing searcher structure for the initial synchronization of a direct sequence ultra-wideband (DS-UWB) system, which is suitable for the digital implementation of baseband functionalities with a 1.32 Gsample/s chip rate analog-to-digital converter. An initial timing acquisition algorithm and a data demodulation method are also studied. The proposed searcher effectively acquires initial symbol and frame timing during the preamble transmission period. A hardware efficient receiver structure using 24 parallel digital correlators for binary phase-shift keying DS-UWB transmission is presented. The proposed correlator structure operating at 55 MHz is shared for correlation operations in a searcher, a channel estimator, and the demodulator of a RAKE receiver. We also present a pseudo-random noise sequence generated with a primitive polynomial, $1+x^2+x^5$, for packet detection, automatic gain control, and initial timing acquisition. Simulation results show that the performance of the proposed parallel processing searcher employing the presented pseudo-random noise sequence outperforms that employing a preamble sequence in the IEEE 802.15.3a DS-UWB proposal.
